𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰

I wake to bird chirping and light shine through the window. Getting up, I see wooden floors with a desk in the right corner by the door that is in front of me.

Summer-Well, what do I expect from a small village that in the middle of nowhere.

Tom- 'What do you mean the middle of nowhere?'

Summer- 'The continent is big but, I don't know how big.'

Tom- 'Then why not go to a library and find out.'

Summer- 'But I need money, and the best place is to go to a hunter guild.'

Tom- 'And if they appraise you for the element you have.'

Summer- 'Um.'

Tom- 'If they trick you into signing a contract or don't pay you as much that others receive.'

Summer- 'Ok, ok, you made your point.'

Summer gets up from the bed then grabs her bag to check it.

Summer- 'I got the dagger, cloak, and other things.'

Tom- 'You took the cloak off to sleep?'

Summer- 'Yep.'

Tom- 'Sleep with it on.'

Summer- 'Why?'

Tom- 'What are you?'

Summer- 'A girl.'

Tom- 'What else.'

Summer- 'An elf.'

Tom- 'And?'

Summer- 'Oh.'

Summer puts on the cloak, then straps the dagger to her back hip before carrying the bag and leaving the room. She walks down the steps and sits down on a chair.

Mollie-Hello, what would you like?

Summer replies in a deep voice.

Summer-I would like what is recommended for breakfast.

Mollie-Ok, that will be eggs, a waterdragon fruit, and blackdots meat with orange juices as a drink.

Summer-That sounds good.

Mollie-That will be at least 10 minutes.

Mollie walks away to put in the order.

Summer- 'I am happy you recommend for me to try using mana on my voice box to change my voice, but I did not know it was this easy.'

Tom- 'It just an idea I had.'

Tom- 'Also, why are the food naming weird.'

Summer- 'Well, the legend says that an injured water dragon was guarding a fruit and a human help him recover so, the water dragon gave that human the fruit and this is the evolution for that fruit.'

Summer- 'The blackdots meat, is from a cow that pitch black and when you see them far away they just look like black dots.'

Tom- 'I'm betting that the human killed the water dragon for the fruit.'

Summer- 'It just a legend, so it does not matter.'

Tom- 'True.'

After 5 minutes of them talking about their plans for the next few days, Mollie comes out with the food.

Mollie-Here you go.

She sets down a plate with a blue fruit that is shaped in a weird line and pitch-black meat beside it with orange juices and eggs.

Summer-Thank you.

Mollie-Welcome.

After she is done eating she head out, after getting directions to the library, she walks to it.

Summer-Here it is.

She walks in.

Summer-This place is smaller than I thought it would be.

Tom- 'It is a village library.'

She can see there is only one floor with 30 shelves in a row.

After looking at the place she walks to the desk where you can see an old woman with gray hair read a book.

Summer-Hello there, I would like to know if this is a public library and when does it close.

Librarian-Yes it is, and it closes at midnight.

Summer-Where is the history books, hunters books, and magic books.

Librarian-The history are the 5 first shelves on the left, the hunter books are 3 next to it and the rest are a mix of them and other things.

Summer-Is there no magic books.

Librarian-*Sigh* Sadly the academia monopolizes the magic books.

Summer-Oh, ok, then thank you anyway.

Librarian-You are welcome.

Summer walks to the far left, passing by people who are reading books. Someone grabs her cloak, she looks back to see a fat man with brown hair and green eyes drinking bottles.

Summer-Let go.

?-Come on, I just want to see who hiding under there.

Summer hits his hand away.

?-What the hell!

Summer-I said let go.

She walks away, not pay attention to him.

Out of nowhere, he charges at her.

Tom-'Summer!'

She quickly sidesteps right, tripping him then grabs him by the head slamming his face on the floor.

?-Aggh

Librarian-What happen here.

?-That person attack me for no reason.

Librarian-You think you can lie to me when I have seen what happen, huh.

Librarian-Now, get lost Paul, and don't come back, you are banned from the library.

After the incident, she walks and starts grabbing books about history and hunter guild.

Summer-The history book says that there are 7 continents around the world and the county I live in is called fireash. It says that a hero sacrifices herself to defeat the demon king and queen from destroying this county, state and the world. (I am the author, but I forgot if I name the state fireash or the country lel.)

Summer-Let see if I can find some more information about this.

She looks around but only find things about other countries and their rulers or big things that happen in history.

Summer-Strange, well let look at the hunter guild books.

She grabs books about Hunters guild and starts to read.

Summer-So it can be grade from lowest to highest which is 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 star, then there is 7 and 8 which is the highest.

Summer-They have to take an element test, then a combat test after that, they give a task you have to complete to get your 0-star badge which then you have to work your way up.

Summer-Ok, since we have read what we came here to do, then I have some more time to read other books to gain knowledge.

She walks around grabs the book she can carry then sits down at a desk and starts reading.
