So the translation quality is actually really amazing like great job to the translator. The story is well written enough. I'd say my biggest issue is with the content. I couldn't get over how abusive the male mc is. Yes I read to the part where it explains why he did it all and how much he loves her but you don't go and force yourself on a woman because she angers you. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. I found myself trying to read to where they finally get together but 300 chapters in and they were still no where. The amount of misunderstandings is unbearable as well. I understood why it was all happening but I still can't agree with reading abuse. Not my cup of tea. It may be yours, but not mine. Nice translation. Hopefully you can do a story that is a bit less abusive next time so that I can manage to finish it.

If you like to read books that try to glorify rape and abuse then this is the story for you. This book drags on for so long with no improvement. It's the same thing over and over again. Maybe I wouldn't be so made about the boring and predictable plot if the male lead wasn't a sad sadistic excuse for a human. He takes pleasure in beating and raping the female lead. Him being introverted as **** doesn't make up for that. Maybe this book had potential, but at this point I doubt it.
Watched it in Netflix and got very interested because the live action adaptation ending was a bit off. So I tried looking it up further so I ended up seeing the manga and webtoon version (engsub only) too before I got here. Iโd say reading the original text is still the best there is. If you are not into a plot of endless misunderstanding the story could be very tiring. But if you are into beautifully created characters this is indeed a good read. Worth the longing and anticipation that feelings needs to be expressed by the characters for better days to unfold.
The build up of the story is quite interesting, the author was successful in making use of particular events and narrating them in different perspectives which gives you an idea how the events helped in shaping and developing the characters. There's also character development in some of the supporting characters which makes the story more diversed and interesting. The translation is good although there are some forgivable inconsistencies, but still you have to give them credit for making it as good as it is. Translating literature is not an easy task and so hats off to the translators. If you are in the mood for romance and would like to get that giddy feeling, this story is for you. However you might want to think twice if you are a feminist or a gender equality advocate. All in all, a fair and just review of this work can only be done once you have reached the ending, in my opinion there's still a lot of character development brewing and there are still some events that would need to transpire to give closure. Honestly, this story got me hooked because it continously tickles you mind into asking how the author would tie the loose ends and what type of ending awaits all its characters.
