THIS IS THE PLAN...

I was sitting alone near the pond in the mansion, still trying to think of what to do to get the people to trust me again.

I was out of ideas.

I had brought back rain, removed a flood, saved people from elephant stampedes, opened old ladies' pickle jars, cleaned litter boxes, saved puppies from trees, I had done everything, but had still not gotten anywhere.

I had sensed Anneliese walking my way then turned slightly to her.

She asked,"You've been here for hours, what are you doing honey?"

She sat besides me then I told her everything.

She then said,"I know you love Monster Hunting but is this what you really want? To base all your dreams on a game of chance?"

I looked at her fully this time then said,"I have no other choice, I can't do it again unless I pass this test.

"But why do you love this so much? Why don't you just stay with us?"She asked.

"I love you all very much but, I want to help people, what is the use of my light if I don't use it for other's good? It's just, without Monster Hunting, I will have no purpose."

"Of course you have a purpose."She kissed my lips and continued,"You just have to find it, then everyone will love you again."

"Thank you honey."I said.

Before she could speak again, she heard a baby screaming then said,"And I left our daughter in the oven."

"Wait, what?!"I yelled.

"Don't worry, it's not on, she'll be fine."Anneliese said.

There was another scream right before an explosion and the ground cracked as water exploded the windows and the sprinklers went off, making all the children sing and dance.

Anneliese then said,"Bye."

Then ran towards the mansion while yelling,"Don't worry baby! Mama's coming!"

I chuckled to myself then decided to give it one more go.

I went to Puerto Rico next to help a town under invasion by a hoard of Crystal Hyenas.

Crystal Hyenas didn't look like hyenas in the least, they looked like ghosts.

Ten foot tall, stick man like creatures with sharp joints and fingers.

Their faces looked like traditional African masks but were just scarier with razor sharp teeth made of hardened ankyrin proteins and chitin.

They were the definition of monsters.

They formed civilized societies with elected leaders mostly based on strength, wits and accomplishments.

Their eyes just looked like holes darker than night, covered with only a cornea with no visible irises, due to this,they had excellent night vision but floppy daytime vision which they made up for by their excellent olfactory and auditory senses.

I went to the town as the people screamed.

I wondered what the Crystal Hyenas even wanted, they were dangerous and bold, it was true, but they never attacked without a reason.

I flew in front of them and a huge wall of ice VII grew to separate us from the people and the leader looked at me then made a roar which sounded like a low pitched screech.

It brought its monstrous face close to mine and I floated closer to it, but it didn't attack, we were communicating.

I then raised my hands and hurricane like winds tore through a construction site in the middle of the forest and tore everything down after I had controlled the workers to flee.

A heavy rain fell over the rubble and immediately, plants started to recolonize the area.

I had learned to use my control over water to make many organic compounds using plasma, hydrolysis and hygroscopy.

This meant I could not only control the water in the plants but also make new tissue and hormones for them, that was how they were able to grow so big.

I then said,"You may go."

The creature huffed then turned back and walked away and was followed by the others.

I descended and touched the wall of ice and it immediately sublimed.

I was about to speak but my voice was drowned by all the cheering,.this was unusual.

Even before I had become evil, no one cheered for me.

Now, they were asking for my autograph and asking me to kiss their babies, I was confused.

I literally had to run away from the thick crowd just to escape.

I had no idea what was going on till I went back to the agency at the end of the month and was told I had 77.8 million votes to rejoin and even be promoted, I was confused and overwhelmed.

René then said,"I guess your persuasion payed off after all."

"What persuasion? I didn't control anyone."

"So you didn't send the video viral?"

"What video?"

She showed me a video.

It started with my conversation with Anneliese, continuing to all the work I put into helping people, how Apollo talked down the jury and all the love my family and I shared, with the words of the first video overlapping.

I smiled and fought back tears as René said,"You're here by rehired, as assistant General so you'll still go on missions, congratulations."

I then swiped her off her feet and kissed her on the cheek, placed her down then flew out of the roof, howling like a wolf as she still digested the fact that I had just kissed her.

I went immediately home then kissed Anneliese passionately on the lips then she said,"Happy Birthday honey."

"With you, everyday is happy for me."I said.

Lilith was watching us from a rooftop several kilometers away, then Franklin said,"You know what to do."

She looked at him then back at me and felt scared as she took a step forward, then Franklin said,"Don't worry, you're doing the right thing."

Lilith nodded then immediately vanished.

She appeared a little ways closer to the mansion as that was her limit, then did it again to appear inside.

She saw me making love with Anneliese then called me.

I looked at her and quickly covered myself with the bed cover, I asked how I could help her then she said,"Please can you come with me?"

"O- of course sweetie, give me a second."

I stood up to go and wear my clothes and Anneliese smiled as Lilith seemed to be warming up to me again, then she heard a baby scream then yelled,"What is it this time?!"

Lilith led me into the living room by holding my hand then I asked,"Sweet pea, is anything the matter."

I could sense her tears right before she looked at me then hugged me tightly while crying.

I went on one knee then asked concerned,"Honey Bunches, what's the matter?"

"I was leading you into a trap! Franklin told me that you hurt Frankie and left him to die the day I died and said I should bring you to him after hurting you and I'm sorry, I'm just a terrible daughter!"

I then gasped and said,"Oh no, no, no you're not a terrible daughter you're just a wonderful friend to think about Frankie this much, you are a wonderful daughter and big sister but, you should have just told me earlier."

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay, but it's true."

"What is?"

"I did hurt Frankie and leave him to die, I do a lot of things I regret when I'm over emotional and always leave, I should have at least gone to check up on him, I can be such a stupid coward sometimes."

"No dad, you're not, don't say that about yourself."Lilith scolded.

"Okay but, take me to Franklin, please."

She nodded.
