A DEAL WITH AN ANGEL
"Stasis?"Curtis asked.
"Yup."Alexa said.
He rolled his eyes then said,"Only Chromosapiens can do that, genius."
A Stasis was a state where an object or group of objects were frozen in time, they'd stop moving and are basically indestructible as they can't move forward in time to get damaged.
Any force impacted on it will just be absorbed, only to be manifested once the Stasis is removed.
"Are you sure? A Stasis only works because time is frozen, or maybe totally absent, I've seen you shift things through 1, 2 and 4 dimensions but never 3, try it."
"I make things 3 dimensional all the time."
"Then they wouldn't be able to move, catch!"
He stretched his hand to catch the vase but it stayed put in mid air and he looked surprised, he wasn't even using exotic matter.
Alexa then explained,"When not given instructions on what to do, the brain does the last thing it was told, even when it has no idea how to do it."
There was a bang she shot a bullet at the floating ball.
The bullet also froze in an area of about ten inches away from the ball.
Alexa then said,"Not very precise, we're going to have to work on that."
"Work on what?"Curtis asked.
He yelled as she punched him in the face.
In the ring, she ran and wound her legs around his neck then threw him down and kept her legs tightly around his neck so he couldn't breathe.
He yelled,"Stop hurting me!"
"Only after you hurt me!"
She stood up and the moment he did, she roundhoused him in the cheek then he fell backwards.
She stretched her arm for him to take it and he did.
When she pulled him up, he spun her round and locked his arms around her.
She was stuck for a second and felt his warm breath tickle her ear as he brought his head closer, he then whispered,"Why don't I just hurt your heart?"
She angrily elbowed him in the belly then threw him over her shoulder.
He groaned as she said,"I hate guys like you."
Then she waked away.
He smirked, he loved it when they played hard to get.
Another time, Alexa was lazing on the couch as usual, reading a book.
She stretched her tongue to pull a crazy straw to her lips then started sipping some orange juice till she heard someone come behind her.
She lay still then squeezed the glass.
She then poured the juice into the person's eyes and jumped on him right before throwing him onto the floor, holding him in place with her legs as she smashed the glass on the floor and sent it to his neck.
She then widened her eyes when she saw it was Trevor.
He smiled at her and waved then she apologized as she stood up.
She asked what he wanted then he said he had just come to visit as it had been a while.
Alexa decided to give him an update on everything and show him her new brother and niece.
Four of the five squeakies were running around, playing while the last one lingered around its parents.
Trevor had to leave after playing with the children, who loved him.
He had something to do with Courtney, his new girlfriend and Alexa didn't know why that made her angry, she wasn't jealous, she didn't have feelings for him anymore, right?
I was changing Jessica's diapers when she squealed and it was shot off her and across the room, did I forget to say her lights were both activated when she was born?
She almost died since Anneliese's immune system thought she was a threat so chemically attacked her.
She was able to protect herself with her lights but that damaged Anneliese's immune system and without that to protect her from other threats, she was a sitting duck for the viruses that leaked in occasionally and that almost killed her, that was why Apollo had to heal her.
He increased her size so she'd be ready for delivery sooner than normal, Anneliese had suffered too much so Apollo freed her.
I walked across the room then saw the glass cabinet I kept my Monster Hunter uniform in, I didn't remember the last time I had worn that.
It consisted of a white leather hoodie which went all the way to my feet.
It was light and flexible to aid my movements.
It also had a gold filigree on the hemming and on the huge revers of the jacket half of it.
The revers were the only parts of the whole hood that was made of black leather other than the long belt at the waist.
The hood was the only official part with me personally adding a black t-shirt, black leather fingerless gloves, black denims and black leather boots.
There were also two white leather belts, the first going through the trousers and the last going diagonally across my torso.
I looked at my reflection which seemed to be wearing it then I chuckled to myself, my days of Monster Hunting were over.
I covered it with a curtain then turned back to leave.
The curtain was thrown off as I controlled the water, hydrogen and hydroxide ions in it to move it.
I looked at it again then took a deep breath...
All eyes turned towards me as I walked through the hallway of the Monster Hunter Agency or MHA for short.
The secretary was a little scared when she saw me and wanted to call for security till I placed my uniform down then said,"I want to speak with General Anderson."
"I'm sorry but...you can go."She said.
I smiled then walked in, keeping the mind control on.
I walked to the general then she asked coldly,"What do you want?"
"I came to start a clean slate."
"You think what you've done is just going to be erased? Anyone you help will send a complaint to the Agency, we'll be ruined."
"Do you care about profit or people's lives? Fine, just give me one month to show the world I can be trusted again and let them know of this, if they vote for me to come back,you will reinstate me."
She laughed then asked,"And what are you going to do? Mind control the entire world's population?"
I smirked then said,"I can be very persuasive."
"Okay, you have a deal, but what will happen if you lose?"
"You will gain threefold popularity even to the most isolated parts of the world as a monster like me has finally been put in his place."
She shrugged then shook my hand.
I then said,"Bye René."
I then winked and she blushed, I knew she still had a crush on me without even reading her mind.
I walked out and took my hood then vanished.
