They were both pushed into the dark walls of the cell. The ground was cold against their feet and was colder to the skin.

Lloyd's hardened gaze followed the guard who had dared lay a finger on him. He watched the man lock the gate of the cell.

The guard lifted his gaze, coming to land on Lloyd's face. A mocking smile spread across his lips as he inserted the keys into his pocket and patted them. As if communicating that they could never get it.

The guard then exited their presence.

While Lloyd had his eyes on him, Hermione was watching Lloyd instead with curious eyes. Her gray-green eyes observed the intensity between the two of them. It seemed like there existed a kind of feud between them before, considering how Lloyd was glaring at him.

Perhaps if Lloyd hadn't been restricted by the chains, he would have punched this one in his face. Just like how he had dealt with Damien.

She sighed inwardly when the guard finally departed.
