Damned

Mari watched the princess scuttling around the bushes with keen eyes.

She recalled that Roman had left in the same direction and they'd probably meet along the way.

She didn't want Hermione to meet with any trouble.

Glancing at Mauve who was desperately watching from the window, she caressed the girl's head lightly. "I'll be back" She uttered.

Mauve only nodded in response.

Her gaze remained fixed on the woman outside, as she heard Mari telling the maid in the room to watch over her.

Then Mari left her chamber and into the hallway where she caught sight of the rest of the royal family members already heading for the dining to have their dinner.

She hid behind the pillars.

Mari didn't let them see her.

Alice was going to call out her name to come join them if the woman saw her, and she needed to do something important.
