137 Vanquish the Darkness (1)

The healers immediately rushed forward, taking Kieran into his private quarters as soon as Cal brought them back to Aisgarth. They were welcomed by Yuri, who gave her a head to toe look before following Cal.

Iris left Kieran's in Cal's care, knowing that she'd already done her best to heal his injuries. Her attendants led her back to her quarters, drew a bath for her and dressed her up.

When she questioned them about Amelia and Chrysanthe's whereabouts, none of them were able to give her an answer, which only made Iris worry about her friends. They also looked wary of her.

"We're not sure, Lady Iris. Perhaps Miss Melissa would be able to give you the answers you need." One of her attendants said.

And so, Iris had no other choice but to summon her mentor, hoping that Melissa knew where her friends were. She paced back and forth inside her quarters, eagerly waiting for her mentor's arrival.
