"Does it matter?" Iris wasn't sure what Lord Kieran was trying to prove. She didn't even understand why they were talking about this.

"It is, given how bothered you are about your humanity. Because you are far better than any mortal human this one has met in his long life." Lord Kieran answered. "You weren't even afraid of me when you met me the first time in my white wolf form, and yet, here you are, doubting whether I detested you for being a human, something you had no control over."

Iris tried her best not to blush under his gaze, but it was hard for her not to. Not when this demon lord was telling her that he sees her as she was and not another human he needed to get along with. Not when his bright blue eyes were set upon her with a heated gaze.
