Chapter Thirty

Sophie

I talked to Raphael in excitement until I fell silent for a while thinking I was boring him.

"What's wrong?" he asked, worried.

"Nothing is wrong" I smiled.

"Then why did you go quiet all over sudden"

"You can barely say a word, I thought I was boring you"

"It's not possible for you to bore me" His voice was soft, his eyes on the road. I slightly leaned on him over the console probably violating a few traffic rules as I relished the freedom to touch him.

"Where are we going?" I was curious to know and Raphael had vehemently refused to disclose our destination, but I didn't care, as long he was with me; I was content to wait it out.

We stopped at a security check, one guy stooped his head to Raphael's side speaking to him in undertones. He almost looked uneasy, a little bit afraid as he tried to explain something to Raphael whose face had become inscrutable and far from the face he gave me.
