Elders weren't that surprised by the over bearence of young miss because she was like this from childhood. She didn't say too much but she was caring about her things. And as Ethan was now her guard, she was tickled in wrong direction. So she showed her old self.

The elder that asked about Ethan went silent. They knew now that he was an important figure.

"Ahem .."

The elder sitting in number 5th seat coughed lightly to tune the atmosphere. Emma also calmed down and atmosphere was much better.

"As you all may know already, the Young master of CSS company came again for this land and that cave. I rejected his offer again." Emma said slowly, without any hurry or any fear in her voice. She wasn't afraid of these elders.

The first elder, who tried to act intimate with Emma, was fuming with anger inwardly. He was the one that sent that assassin from [NIGHT ROVER] and a few before too but it was dealt easily and Emma was safe. He did all this because he had a deal with CSS company. The deal was to get the main seat of the household. He was sure that this little girl will be shaken after two, three assassin attempts and would relate it to young master of CSS but nothing like that happened. And after that she would definitely feel threatened and will sell the land. But he was wrong.

"Emma, you're not doing things the right way. The household master also wanted the deal to proceed. But now you are making things difficult for family." The first elder acted nicely as if he was persuading a child. But Emma just shook her head and didn't pay too much attention.

Ethan who was standing behind, also saw these little missoffs between elder and Emma but he just thought of it as problems of big household. He was more concerned about his mission. He didn't get a clue from the meeting as of why they are mining that land. But he showed patience and didn't say anything.

"I hope you elders don't push me too hard as I'm not going to sell land until father is alright." Emma showed her stance. It was clear now that she was not going to budge.

The other three elders just sighed on her decision but didn't say anything in return but first elder was angry. He wasn't feeling good at all. He had a deal. He had a chance. But he couldn't avail it. He couldn't show his hostility in full front. So he stayed silent.

"That's what i wanted to say. Meeting is concluded by me. Sorry for disturbing you." Emma in her gentle tone said then got up from her seat and left. Elders didn't stop her.

Hotel Red-roller:

"So when are you going to initiate the attack?" In a nice five star hotel, at the top floor, a person was enjoying the view while holding a cup of wine. This was the assassin that was contacted by the young master Finch of CSS. This assassin was known as [Dark moon chopper] because his methods were vicious. He liked to cut pinky finger of his victim and save it as momento. He wasn't from any organization but still he was a top notch free lance assassin. The person who asked the question was his manager. He was slim and gave a gloomy feeling. By manger, it didn't mean he managed some kinda office or somewhat. He was with him to just get money after the deal was done. He was the one who asked the question.

"Soon. What's the hurry .. hehe, young master will increase price." His voice was hoarse and his laugh was creepy. His build was also slim but one could see that his body was well made. He had done good time of work on his body to be a good assassin.

The manager dude didn't say anything, just gave a sly grin as if agreeing with him.

Emma had no clue about this all conspiracy.

Macloy family household:

As meeting was concluded and the situation was in control of Emma for now, she felt relieved. She really thought that these elders will make her sell that land. But it went okay. As she was now resting in her room, she was thinking of her old sick dad. She wasn't sure if she will be able to find the [thing] that she's been looking for.

Emma sighed lightly and looked outside the window. Birds were chirping outside. Weather was pleasent too. As she was thinking of all these, a knock was heard on door.

"Yes?" Emma asked lightly.

"Young miss, lunch is ready." It was the maid of young miss.

"Okay I'll be there. Send uncle to get Ethan too." Emma replied and got up to get ready. She was tired but she knew now wasn't the time to rest. By uncle she meant butler. As he was in this house from old generation. She was used to call him uncle.

Guest room:

After meeting was over, Ethan was led to guest room for rest. He asked them as he was the guard so he should be with young miss but Emma also asked him to rest a bit. Ethan was still mesmerized by the look of this house. The decorations in this room were also old fashioned. Room was really nice. It wasn't that big. But all the things in room were too nice and antique. Everything was really old. But it had its own charisma. Ethan was loving it. He looked around in room for a bit. Then he sat on the sofa that was placed by the window and observed the scenery. He was thinking about the meeting. He wasn't dumb. He knew he didn't get any clues from meeting about his mission. But he knew that his young miss wasn't having a good time.

First, all elders were opposing the young miss. He didn't know the details but it was clear enough to know. Secondly he could tell that assassin attempts were being ordered by elders or elders were in it. Because if young miss of a family was almost assassinated for many times, elders wouldn't be quite. He knew that he was going to be busy. But strength was necessary. He wasn't strong enough for now. He looked in his system and saw all kind of things. But bloodlines were still not available. He was curious. He really wanted some bloodline. As he watched different anime and was into it. He didn't know which level was enough but he had to level up.

*Knock knock*

"Yes come in" Ethan said in a good nice way.

"Lunch is ready. You may follow me." Butler said in a polite tone. Even though Ethan wasn't a guest, still butler was very nice.

Ethan nodded on manners of butler and followed the butler to dinning room.
