After submitting the registration form to the nurse at the front desk, Sangcheol is handed a number which will be called once the doctors-in-charge is available for a check-up. He looks back at his mate who is standing near the potted plant place near the entrance of the department and smiles, reassuring him that everything will be okay.

"What number are we?" Haneul asks as soon as his alpha is within hearing distance. Sangcheol shows him their number and looks at the ones shown on the television – 54 more to go. The two then scans the waiting room filled with patients and their guardians, waiting for their turns. There are no seats left and some are even standing, just like Haneul was. And yet, the numbers shown are barely changing. "We should've come sooner… how long do you think it'll take?"
