Chapter 36 – At the end of the weekends (part 02)

"So kid, you're planning on winning with 'Nature 67' right?"

"Yeah…."

"Hmmm….. Tsudzukemashou ka?"

Saying that Chisaka took a stance Kasumi no Kamae, whilst nodding upon agreement Kai took back his initial stance with fist clenched near his chest and leg facing forward. Upon a second ago, the meek and docile aura around them spiked to a true blood lust and monstrous aura as they plunged towards each other. 

Chisaka stabbed on Kai's shoulder and spun his blade inflicting more agony whilst Kai stepped on Chisaka's foot and threw a high knee kick at his jaws. Chisaka stepped back a couple of steps as per recoil. And Kai dashed at a high speed leaving broken window on his wake. He punched Chisaka on his side face which sent him flying to the top of the building. Kai appeared in an instant behind Chisaka whilst being airborne and threw a jab downward at his head. Chisaka grabbed him by his arm evading the punch as both began to fall. As soon as they reached the part of the building they were standing on, they got attracted to it. It was as if the side of the building is the part that has gravity.

Chisaka dashed towards the next building and jumped at it and got himself attracted to the side of the building. With mere inches away from Chisaka, Kai did the same following whilst throwing a spin kick mid-way which Chisaka parried with an upward slash. They both stood facing each other as they let out a smile directed at each other. 

Once again they both dashed at each other, Chisaka laid a horizontal cut which Kai evaded it with a jump dive roll. They continued the path and dashed opposite to each other. Completing a half circle around the building they met face to face again as Kai threw a uppercut which Chisaka evaded by crouching and they both kept moving opposite and leapt off the ledge of the building. 

They both stood face to face on the side of the building opposite to them. Chisaka waved his hand as if he was dragging the building opposite to him towards him and the building moved towards him.

"That's more like it."

Kai said with a menacing smile as Chisaka himself stood with a menacing smile and eyes white as moon. 

As the other building reached Chisaka meters away, Kai leapt out of that building. The force from his jump shattered the entire building's glass. Kai brought his knees up for a knee kick at Chisaka's torso which Chisaka evade by phasing Kai through him. Kai exited the building from the other side, and as soon as he stepped out, Chisaka leapt down from the top of the building aiming at Kai's head with a blade drenched in flames. 

"Dance of Vulcan."

"Interesting."

Kai said as he let out a huge smile. Chisaka cut Kai's head clean off and jumped through space to another building where he could see the building they were on burn as it fell. Kai stood behind him unscathed. 

"Hmm….. You're back already?"

Asked Chisaka with a smile and face with pure ecstasy. 

Upon smiling back Kai pushed himself along with Chisaka as they began to fall toward the ground. As they were about to hit the ground, the road below disappeared exposing a night sky and they fell through it to only land at a flower garden. Far off the garden there was a light house, which lit the space they were on for every other 2 seconds. 

Chisaka took upon the stance of Gedan no Kamae whilst kai took a front stance. Once the light spun around and hit them they both dashed toward each, Kai landed a right hook whilst Chisaka cut off his abdomen. They stopped moving and began to stare intensely at each other once the light moved away from them. They could attack at any given moment since that light is not the only thing illuminating their surroundings.

Again when the light glanced upon them Kai leapt off whit a knee kick which Chisaka cut him in half through his knees. They once again stopped once the light moved off of them. They stood whilst holding their stance ignoring three of those said lights from lighthouse. For the fourth light they began to battle avoiding the light. 

Kai threw an elbow hit aiming horizontally at his head which Chisaka received. Chisaka used the blade for an outward diagonal slash which Kai avoided with a roundhouse kick to his palm. 

"End is nearing."

"Yeah about time."

Replied Kai with a bold enthusiastic voice as the morning sun rose slowly lighting up the night sky. 

Kai dashed through the field of flowers ignoring the cuts landed on him out of nowhere, his blood covered the flowers on the field. He had ignored the healing and used the pre vision he had stopped before to accurately grab Chisaka by his face. He spun himself along with Chisaka and smashed him on to the ground. 

Once he took his palm off of Chisaka's face, the young middle aged face of Chisaka had grown older. The body, voice and everything of him had turned to that of a 67 year old man. Kai had pulled the time through Chisaka making him old, incidentally exposing him to 'Nature 67'.

Nature 67

Guds Vilje, Les élus or any potential users, however powerful they may be, once they reach the age of 67 they lose their potential.  This phenomena is 'Nature 67' or commonly known as 'Merry-go-round'. 

"Fufufu….. Just as I predicted."

"….and as I foresaw." 

Kai sat down beside him as the dusk hit.

"Uso-tsuki…. You don't have fore sight."

"Ah~ you found out" Said kai letting out a light chuckle.

"For years I have killed millions and millions, never would have thought I would have been done by this brat….. Hahaha..."

"So...~ Jail?"

"Kuso yarō." Said Chisaka letting out a chuckle.

The decisive battle ended with the victory of Kai whilst they both gazed upon as the sun rose.
