Chapter 32 – A love letter to Ares

Battle – Min Jung vs Kai Kitagawa

With his time stop being sealed Kai yet stood unfazed. Min prepared to summon another beast.

"Bulgae"

Three dogs-like Dona ran out of the empty space beside Min towards kai. Kai tried to move but his body was frozen on spot. A small serpent crawled out of Min's Hanbok and warped around her arm.

"Imugi"

Three dogs bit Kai. One on his thigh and two on his forearm and arms. Three dogs Exploded holding onto Kai sending him flying couple of meters away. As the smoke from the explosion cleared Min saw Kai standing unscathed.

Five more dogs appeared and dashed at Kai, Min stretched her arm Imugi was on, directing it at Kai. Imugi's eyes spun. Kai stood in front her in a second, the wind blew much stronger onto Min's face opposite the direction Kai was facing, meaning he slowed time instead of stopping it.

Kai grabbed the snake-like Dona with his palm covering it eyes. His palm was covered in dark matter.

"Bang."

Imugi blasted, disappearing out of the battle. Min leapt couple of steps backward to create distance. The five dogs she summoned earlier dashed towards Kai from behind. Kai leapt and performed a backflip at the moment it reached him. He landed on top of a single dog out of five infusing his legs in sound and dark matter. The shockwaves sent other four flying wounded whilst cleansing the one he kicked.

The soles of the white shoes turned black along with the palm of his hands, meaning he infused both with dark matter.

He dashed towards Min in seconds leaving a force of wind behind at his wake, leapt and spun himself midair to use the momentum to land consecutive double kicks with his knees. Min stepped couple of step backward as a recoil. The moment his foot touched the ground he performed a kick backflip infusing a single leg of his with sound and landed it on Min's upper head.

"Gwisin!!!"

Min screamed the named with blood spilling from her forehead. She was dragged 6 feet behind from where she was by a mysterious force. A Dona looking like a woman was on the spot of where she was. Min's wounds were not there. The Dona she summoned disappeared. It was as if she traded places with that Dona in the moment of kick.

"Bastard, now it's time for my retaliation."

Min dashed toward Kai and performed a jab, he blocked it whilst parring it (Nagashi uke). She spun herself and used the back of her hand for a jab. He blocked it again by parring it (Uchi - (Ude) - Uke). She performed a back kick he received it by a knee block. She performed a front stance high punch using knife hand aiming at his neck. He evaded it by taking two steps back. An 'Imugi' Slithered out of her Hanbok and made eye contact with Kai. Kai stopped moving at the spot. She performed a side kick to his abdomen, knee joint kick to his left knee and a hook kick to his left face.

Once his body started moving, without losing a second he did a backflip followed by aerial flip to his right to avoid the recoil from her kick.

"Oh…. You are trained pretty well for a brat?"

"Compliments from you means nothing to me."

Saying such, Kai dashed at her. She went for a jab, Kai evaded it by falling onto the ground on his back and did a flare to swipe kick off her foot. She evaded it by jumping and stomped at his feet weapon hauling a wakizashi. He dodged it by taking his legs back and leapt like a frog for an uppercut using his elbow.

"Tsk….You fight like some worm…"

The four wounded dogs back then dashed randomly at Kai. He performed a reverse roundhouse kick at one cleansing it on spot. The other one reached him from behind, he performed a handstand L – Kick, instantly cleansing it. He dashed towards Min and threw a jab at her. She blocked it with a cross arm block. He performed a back kick at another dog that reached him.

Whilst turning behind the final of those dogs chewed onto his chest. In an instants before it could blast he stood behind Min at point blank range to share the effect of blast. The blast effected both of them whilst Kai used his time potential to heal at an instant Min summoned the 'Bonghwang' to heal herself. The blast repelled both of them away form each.

"Now, Inmyeonjo"

Huge curved 6 pillars standing 15 foot appeared at random places between Min and Kai. Every pillars turned to reveal a face of a wicked woman. The pillars slowly opened its mouth and started to screech. For every step he took forward he was sent two steps back.

"Now I will have my time for this."

"Yong, Yo, Kyo"

A thunderous roar could be heard from behind Min. this roar disintegrated the pillars appeared, 'Inmyeonjo'. A humanoid figure standing 8 feet tall walked out of the empty space.

"It is the 'Gunungsin' Or Ares, if you may know."

"What the…. It is another Dona at the end." Said Kai as he looked down on her.
