The road to hell

"huuuurrrrr, how long have we been walking" Rebecca cried as she sat on the road, refusing to walk again.

"It has only been an hour" said Brian.

"An hour!, is already two o'clock!, it's afternoon, the sun is cooking me, are you human?!, while is everyone sweating except you, even Edward is sweating!" Screamed Rebecca.

"... please keep your voice down, there may be around" said Adrian worryingly as he looked around, only at that moment, Rebecca did not speak, as she also did not want to attract them.

After another hour, the small group took a rest under an abandoned store, the store only sold working accessories like buckets and rags and not edible food, but the were still happy to have shelter.

"We are lucky to have found this shelter, we would rest here for thirty minutes, and go on with the journey" said Brian.

"There's not much to cover, we would arrive the station before nightfall, while waiting, we would visit the buildings around in search of cloths and weapons, I think is better we go in two to cover more distance in the searching" said Edward, and Brian nodded.

"Ahhh, you guys are beast, how can you be calm in such situation, walking under this hot sun and still..... Separate?!, Why?!, Isn't that's how people die in films!" Scream Rebecca, as everybody became bored of her constant complains, she has been complaining all through the journey, so the decided to ignore her.

"Brian and Rachel you take the two storey building and Rebecca, Adrian and I would check on the small buildings around and the stores" said Edward, as the group separated.

The tall building was painted yellow, but the beautiful colour could not hinder the sinister feeling the building was producing, as the building looked abandoned.

"It look as if the building has eight rooms, should we take two each?" Asked Rachel, Brian looked at her, she was once the delegate in charge of order and duty in the school as she look after her classmates, and respect teachers order, Which suprise Brian, because, he did not imagine her to leave her duty and come with them, but she took the right decision, remembering the tragic end of those who remain.

"No, that's risky, we don't know this place, prudence is better, we take each room, no need to rush things" said Brian as he open the first room, immediately....

"Aaarrrrgggghhhhh!" A zombie pounced on Brian, as the later was taken off gaured.

"Ahhhh" Rachel screamed as she fell on the floor unable to help.

Swooosh bamb!

Rachel did not have the time to weakness the strike, but only saw a dead corps on the floor with the head smashed, and Brian with a bloody stone in his hand.

"How did you?..." Asked Rachel.

"Stop dreaming, we still have seven rooms to check on" said Brian as he went in, Rachel stared at his back, and could only be confused but hurriedly stood up and entered the room.

An hour had passed when the group reunited, all brought what the found, a bag of rice, biscuits, money, knifes, hammer, bottles of water, and se clothes.

"Is that all?" Adrian was discouraged as he sat on the dirty floor.

"It look as if the place was searched, when we arrived the area was clear" said Edward as he took a bottle of water and drank.

"Hmm, our own building was not great either, only two rooms were occupied and rest were vacant" said Brian as he looked at Rachel for her to confirm, and she nodded.

Edward stared at their reaction, but did not say anything, as he kept the empty money and picked the stack of money and stared at a particular direction.

"Why did you pick this?" Asked Edward.

"Dunno, I thought it might be a necessity" said Rebecca, everyone was stupefied on her idiosity, at time like this, people run in search of food and weapons to protect themselves, this idiot goes around picking money.

"We better drink something, rest and cover up the distance before nightfall" said Edward, as he massage his forehead, everybody nodded, and as it was getting to seven, the were back on the way, and it did not take long for them to reach the station.

"We have succeeded, let's....." Edward did not finish his statement went....

Bang! Bang! Bang! "Run, hurry they are coming!" Shouted a man dress in a police wear, as a group of seven people ran passing him, seeing this Brian did not waste time to hide, followed behind by Edward, Adrian, Rebecca and Rachel.

"With your power, why don't you help them" Rachel murmured into Brian, as the later glared at her, she immediately shot her mouth and looked at how this group would come out of this situation.

The group of seven plus the police officer ran as the were being chased by a strange creature, it wasn't a zombie, no, it was one of them, but looked different than the orders, Brian had a strange feeling, this creature is very different, even the Colosseum who attacked the school wasn't so hideous.

"What is going on?, Are this really normal zombie, their evolution rate is strange?" Said Adrian, as the group decided not to intervene, even though it was heartless, it was better to remain hidding than to go out for death.

The zombie in question had a large head with no eyes, his mouth was like a tube and the body wasn't different from that of a musquito, surrounded by ordinary zombies, the creature caught and sucked out his victims with his mouthpart drying them like empty shells, the rest were caught and eaten raw.

As the massacre came to an end, the left like ghost, as Brian and his group decided to take another road and avoid the station, as the zombie's direction was basically the station, it at this moment the realise that, if the had arrived here first, the would have perished.

"We were lucky" said Adrian as he scratch his head and moved forward, everyone nodded, as their journey hasn't started, this horror was shown, was this road leading to hell? The asked themselves, as fear could be seen on their faces.

Brian stared at the sky, as he saw a dot flying high, "what is that?" He thought, but his attention was directed to what the others were saying.

"We would have to find a place for tonight and rest, it's getting dark, it would be too dangerous to remain outside with those creatures around" said Edward.

"Ashh my leg hurts" said Rebecca, as Rachel also felt pain on her leg, as their speed fell down, Adrian was the only one Infront as he monitored his surroundings, he turn to face the group to speak.

Suddenly, Brian's body vibrated as his senses warn him of a terrible danger, he unconsciously grape Edward's shoulder and pushed him down, Rachel saw the scene and did same with Rebecca as she screamed so as to warn Adrian.

"Down!"

"Swooooooshhh!" A violent gust of wind passed their location as an unidentified creature flew away, Brian looked up, only to see a manlike creature with large wings carrying something away, it was fast, as Brian did not know what it took.

"No...." Rebecca fell on the floor shaking in fear as she looked Infront of her, "my god" exclaim Rachel in fear and terror, and Edward had a gloomy expression, it only then did Brian realize what was missing that the creature had taken.

Infront of them, a body missing its upper part was standing pissing out a large amount of blood, coloured the brown floor red, the setting sun followed by this horror was as if telling the group, that, the have entered hell.
