CHAPTER TWO: Where Am I?

It was glinting with little sparkles, like a thousand diamonds blessed with an inner fire.

A galaxy of dragonflies fizzed through the beams of light, wings a-glitter in the sun.

The waterfall was Atlantis-blue.

It was gushing over the rocks.

At it's widest point, it was surging  and plunging down the mountain.

It had a beautiful serenity-pool at the bottom.

It was veneer clear.

The waterfall flowed as smoothly as syrup.

The frogs croaking nearby added to the wonderful sounds.

The mountains were vampire-white.

A wave of white snow went rumbling  down the sides.

They were all crumpled at the base.

They were sky-stabbing at the top.

The legs of the mountains were very wide.

The peaks of the mountains were like harpoon tips.

They were shrouded in ghost-grey mist.

The air was chilling and numbing.

The cool, upland air, flooding through the everlasting branches of the lively tree, as it casts a vague shadow onto the grasses ' fine green.

Fresh sunlight penetrated through the branches of the tree, illuminating perfect spheres of water upon it's green wands.

Lin Wangshu slowly opened her eyes trying to adjust to the light shining above her.

She rubbed her blurry eyes twice and wondered how she had travelled to such a place.

The view above her was not the normal view she had expected.

The swaying leaves of the tree, the sounds which were being produced by birds tweeting melodiously, the constant sound of a hard material hitting the hard ground.

Where was she exactly?

Lin Wangshu was completely confused, how did she end up there?

'Did someone kidnap me?' She asked herself, but if she had been kidnapped then she would have at least been tied up, but she was not, she was freely and even moved her legs.

Soon, she heard footsteps approaching where she had lay and saw a very big head gazing at her from above.

Who was that woman?

She had two big eyes and a button nose.

Her coal black hair was tied in a knot at the nape of her neck and she looked at Lin Wangshu.

She then kicked her hard and inquired her in an irritating voice.

"How can you be sleeping while we are busy toiling?"

Lin Wangshu was even more confused, she had never seen a farm let alone toil.

She then woke up and sat on the ground titling her head and staring at the woman who had kicked her in a confused manner.

"What? Have you never seen me before?" The woman asked.

The woman had old han Fu dress which was cream white in colour.

She had hair pins and fresh flowers that were used to decorate her hair.

"Where am I?"Lin Wangshu asked the woman.

"How am I supposed to know?" The woman replied, " when you came here to sun bask,did you not know where you were?"

"I really do not know where I am." Lin Wangshu tried to argue.

"I know your tricks to escape from toiling. I am sure you climbed up that tree and fell yourself down thinking that I would send you home. Well sorry to inform you that you will toil under this blazing sun no matter how good you act. Wake up and let us go, the market is awaiting our goods this evening."

Lin Wangshu sneered at the woman before she arose and dusted her dress.

What was she wearing?

A light blue han Fu dress with flower embroidery on it.

Her hair was with loose long hair on the back and the side sections pulled back in a variety of braids.

She walked to where the woman led her and halted her steps when she saw her stop.
