20 Why did you do that?

Graah!

Roar!

Dozens of Zombies wail their hands trying to grab Pati and the others while they make a run with the green light as their destination, many of the Zombies came out of the buildings, stores, and alleys because of the fight before.

Many of them are Walkers so they're not a problem, but some of them are Runners.

Pat and Jeff have enough agility to outrun the Runners that are chasing after them, but the problem is that the girls can't outrun the Runners. They're still low-leveled, pretty weak.

Because of that, the guys need to match their pace with the girls.

"Four of them are trying to block us!", Jeff points at their front where four Runners are heading towards them with their nasty growls, they intend to crash with Pati and the others. But Pati will not let that happen.

Using his Leap skill, Pati dashes faster leaving the others back.

Pati will not use his knife in fighting these Runners since he had only left with one as the other snapped when fighting against the Brawler, so he just charges ahead like a human boulder before colliding with them.

All of the Runners got sent flying away, they're no Brawlers. They can't match Pati's strength.

While trying to create a path for the others to go through and also simultaneously gaining exp from killing the Zombies, Pati's eyes widen as he stopped in his track. He stopped because there are countless Walkers crowding at the far end of his sight.

These Walkers are crowding the street like ants, and some of them already turned into Heavy Walkers, 'Is there any survivors here? There should be...', Pati thought while looking around.

Just like what he had learned, Zombies, eat Zombies' corpses to get stronger.

For some of the Walkers in front of him to already turned into a Heavy Walker shows that there are dead Zombies here, and that can only happen if someone killed them. True enough, Pati's eyes landed on a store on the sight of the street.

Walkers are crowding the front of the store and are slowly about to break the window of the store.

Squinting his eyes, Pati finds that there are people in that store.

Pati looks at the terrified look of the people in the store seeing that the store windows are about to bust open by the Walkers banging on them, he then shifted his eyes to the crowding Walkers and Heavy Walkers before a smirk appears on his face.

It's not that he wanted to help, but this is a perfect opportunity for him to grind level.

Looking around the place to find a suitable tool to use, Pati only finds cars, benches, and street lights that are available for him to use. From the fight before, he already knows that he can lift a car if he wanted to.

So with that in mind, the street light is probably much more effective to use.

"Are we going to help them? Might as well, right?", Jeff suddenly asks from the side, the people inside the store are already screaming when a couple of Walkers bust inside through the windows.

Hearing this, Pati didn't reply for a moment before he finally said, "With this many Zombies, it'll be a waste to not kill them all when we're given such an opportunity"

The Walkers and Heavy Walkers' attention are pointed at the screaming people inside the store.

Only a handful of Walkers turn their heads towards them before slowly approaching, but in truth, they are approaching them excluding Pati. Jeff seems to notice that as he glances at Pati in confusion, "Is it just me, or they all are looking at me instead of you"

"Might just be your imagination", Pati replied nonchalantly.

Jeff tries to look at the Walkers' gazes again and he becomes even more sure seeing their undead eyes are glaring at him instead of Pati, "I'm not tripping, but I can see that you're just playing with me", he said seeing there's a smile on Pati's face.

With the Zombie Scent passive skill, the Walkers sense Pati as nothing but the same kind.

Pati got this skill from the Brain Eater class effect after eating his 20th Walkers' brains, and this skill allows Walkers to perceive him as one of them so they won't attack. Heavy Walkers are different though, the Zombie Scent is not potent enough to affect them.

"Just another skill I got, don't be jealous now...", Pati replied cheekily.

Hearing this, Jeff can only roll his eyes as he said, "Man... I want to get a skill too. Let me fight the Heavy Walkers this time, you go on ahead and help the people inside"

"Fuck that, I'm going to kill all the Walkers instead", Pati replied without a moment's thought.

Pati then glance at the girls that are looking at the horde of Zombie with clear concern, they're obviously overwhelmed by how many Walkers and Heavy Walkers are roaming around or gathered here.

While looking at the girls, he sighs.

"I don't want any burdens, remember that", Pati said blatantly trying to hint at something, and after saying that he grabbed the car on the side before throwing it at the horde of Zombies.

Though it's the second time they're seeing this, the others can't help but be amazed.

Before the apocalypse lifting a jeep already shows the peak of human power that can only be achieved by a fraction of people in the entire world, but not Pati not only does he lift the jeep with one hand but he also throws it with relative ease.

A jeep got thrown at the horde of Zombies crushing each one of them easily.

Many messages from the system flooded his vision while the jeep hits every Zombie that strayed to its path before finally stopping, and with that, the Walkers and Heavy Walkers turn their attention toward him.

From mentally counting, more than a dozen Zombies died from getting hit by the jeep.

[You have reached level 15, stats has been distributed accordingly]

[Congratulation! You have unlocked the first Brain Eater class skill, Fear of Mind]

Upon seeing the last message from the system, Pati's eyes lit up as he got a new skill from his Brain Eater class. From just the name of the skill alone, he doesn't really know what exactly the skill will do but it's definitely a mental attack.

Something that attacks the mind, but nevertheless, he will try and use it.

Jeff readies his bloodied machete that is still stained fresh of the Walkers' souls that he killed upon realizing the Zombies' are looking at them, Pati then walks leisurely to the side before holding a street light.

With a rough jolt, the street light got pulled off of the ground easily.

"Alright, follow me!", Pati said before lunging into the horde of Zombies that are already growling at him, but all of them got the same reply from Pati.

Using the street light, Pati swings at the growling Zombies.

All of the got swept away crashing, and not one of them manage to withstand one attack from the street light. The Walkers got sent flying away and crashes into the surrounding buildings, destroying everything that blocks their trajectory.

Jeff who is on Pati's back complained, "Stop whooshing that thing around! I can't get close!"

Hearing this, Pati was about to stop but then suddenly,

Clang!

Out of nowhere the street light that he's holding hits something hard stopping it on its track, Pati glance back to his front and finds two Heavy Walkers blocking the street light. But seeing the excited smile makes Jeff shout from the back, "No you're not, this time they're mine!"

Although a bit annoyed, Pati decided to just focus on the Walkers.

Meanwhile, after jumping over Pati to stop him from fighting the two Walkers, Jeff engages in a fight against the two Heavy Walkers. They all have hulking bodies but Jeff didn't back down.

With the machete in his hand, Jeff swings down powerfully at one of the Heavy Walker.

The slight glow of the machete shows that he's using a skill, but the Heavy Walker raises its arms to block the machete. Unlike what he had expected, the machete only manages to slice halfway through its arms.

But out of nowhere, "Raarggh!!", Jeff shouted putting more strength in his arms.

Jeff pushes down the machete with bulging arms before finally, the Heavy Walker's two arms got sliced through like a piece of steak. It seems Jeff saved some Chaos and increase his strength just now.

While this is all happening, Dinda then said, "While they're fighting..."

"Let's check on the people inside the store, they may be hurt", she added pointing at the store that has some Walkers heading inside it, occasional screams can also be heard from there.

Salsa nodded her head before the two of them rushes into the store.

Inside the store that seems to be a gift shop store with many souvenirs displayed on the cabinets, five people are on the corner of the shop in fear looking at the two Walkers that are already inside of the store limping towards them.

Two men are standing in front holding plywood the size of their bodies fearfully.

Behind them are three women that are shivering and trembling in fright as they saw the disgusting and grotesque look of the Walkers, but to make matters worst one of the Walkers is wearing the same red uniform as them.

From the looks of it, one of their co-workers falls into the grip of the apocalypse.

"We're going to die... We're going to die... We're going to die..."

One of the women keep muttering the same words as the situation she was in is starting to overwhelm her puny mind, another woman on the side glanced at her and said, "Please don't say that... I don't want to die"

Hearing this, the two men are starting to get pressured.

A man that has a perfect black beard ripped off the cashier machine before throwing it to the Walker that is already getting close, this only hinders the Walker for a couple of seconds before it resumes again.

Seeing his effort doesn't work as he thought, the man grabs the plywood again in front of him.

While the two men are watching the Walkers advancing at them who cornered themselves behind the counter, they saw a car fly past from the window of the store. Their eyes widen in shock but soon that shock turns into a sense of hope seeing two guys fighting the horde of Zombies.

"Look! There's someone out there fighting the Zombies!", one of the men shouted and pointed outside, this makes the others look outside and finds that it is true.

They were shook seeing the people outside have inhuman strength.

Seeing the people outside takes care of the horde of Zombies rather easily, their eyes starting to glint with a shed of light feeling a newfound hope of getting out of the situation. But this distraction caused one of the Walkers to get too close for comfort.

Graah!

The Walkers grabbed one of the man's arms before jolting him towards it.

With the strength of the Walker that surpassed the normal limit of a regular human, the bones in the man's arms snapped into two cleanly, "Aerrghh!!", the man shouted in pain seeing his right arm bend in an unnatural direction.

It makes the women behind him frightened as the three of them screamed in reflex.

After the man got his arm snapped, the other man finds it hard to hold the plywood, and this result in the Walker being able to grab the man by his broken arm. He tries to pull his arm away to no avail.

Gritting his teeth, the man desperately tries to pull his arm away and finally succeeded.

Just after he did that, Dinda and Salsa arrived at the store before Dinda immediately rushes to help them. She holds the knife before she jabbed it into the Walker's neck and pulls the Walker back.

Seeing the Walker is still wailing, Dinda pulls out the knife before jabbing it again to its neck.

Dinda kept doing it several times and sometimes she even jabbed into the Walker's eye. After a couple of stabbings, the Walker finally dropped dead leaving the other Walker limping towards her.

Trying to pull the knife out of the dead Walker, she realized that she can't. It's stuck.

Without having no other choice, Dinda stands up before she punched the Walker right in its face. Her punch looks clumsy and amateurish but it manages to push the Walker back a couple of steps, she kept punching the Walker intending to push the Walker out of the store.

But just after another punch, the Walker didn't stumble back and instead tries to claw Dinda.

Looking at this, Salsa who is only watching all this time steeled her resolve. Holding the knife in her held tighter, she then ran towards the Walker before stabbing it right on its neck from the side.

Stab!

After she did that, the Walker got pushed to the side giving Dinda enough time to give it another strong punch that send the Walker falling out of the window and out of the store.

"Thanks...", Dinda face Salsa and thanked her.

Salsa gives her a smile before the both of them look back to see the group of people on the corner, "Are you all okay?", Dinda asks while trying to see if they were hurt, her eyes then landed on the man that has his arm broken.

The man is leaning on the ground in pain, he's hissing while trying to not look at his broken arm.

Dinda went to the man's side intending to heal the man trying to see if a broken arm can be healed with her skill, "Let me try something", she said but just as she touch the man's broken arm.

Graah!

Splat!

Blood splattered on her face out of nowhere catching her off guard.

She looks at her clothes which are drenched in blood before she slowly looks up, her eyes widen seeing the man that she was about to heal has his head exploded like a watermelon. The man is already dead.

Dinda looks to the side and finds someone standing beside the man's corpse.

It was Pati with his hand bloodied from punching the man's head, he was looking at Dinda without an expression which made her tilt her head covered in blood in confusion, "Why did you do that...?"
