2 First day of School (UPDATED)

After stretching and adjusting to my new body, I start looking closer around my new home. It turns out I'm in a one-bedroom apartment. Walking out of my bedroom, I see a small hallway with a bathroom on the right and a laundry room on the left. At the end of the hallway comes a kitchen/living room and the front door to the apartment.

The apartment looks like it has been lived in, but from basic observation, I can see only one person has lived here. There's only one chair at the table to eat—a loveseat chair instead of a couch. When I looked in the bathroom, there was only one toothbrush and three sets of towels, but only one was out.

Looking at the TV in the living room, I see a DVD player and a variety of movies and TV shows on the shelf next to the TV. Based on the titles, they give off the 80s/90s vibes, but all of them are very Naruto-centric and have a cultural vibe, from the clothing choices to the casting of actors to the settings of the shows. So it was somewhat weird to see they have movies and TV shows, but it doesn't look like they have any form of Internet. They do have phones, but they do not have anything resembling mobile phones. They also have A/C and basic electrical systems like lights, outlets, and fans.

Overall, this world is almost like my old one, just without any Internet to distract anyone. I head back to my room and find some clothes for the day. I find some basic black shorts with a red shirt, and when I look at the shoes section, I see a selection of toeless sandals. After putting on some red ones, I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair and use the bathroom. It feels like I've been holding it in for an eternity.

I look into the mirror and take stock of my new appearance. First, I notice my hair being straight black with red highlights going down about my shoulder blades. I see a black hairband on the sink and tie my hair up into a low ponytail. I still have some baby fat on my face but a thin body frame. It looks like I at least exercise a little bit. My eyes were the most striking deep Crimson red. I had to make a comparison with anyone in the show. I looked like Kurenai yūhi, just male and with natural red highlights.

As I head out the door, I see a calendar saying I have school starting at 8 o'clock today. I look at the clock on the wall and know that it is 7:15. Feeling a sense of panic; I head out the door and notice I'm on the 12th floor of the building. Looking out over the city, I saw it looked very similar to the show, maybe a bit more modern, but still the same nostalgic look from the show. I remember the school was close to the Hokages office and towards the back of the village. I look out and, find my objective and start rushing towards the familiar red tower.

As I get closer to the tower, I see children around my age and younger walking towards a building near the tower, thinking it's obviously the school. I walk through the gates into a familiar courtyard, seeing the tree with a swing hanging from its branches. I walk into the building, seeing a clock on the wall saying 7:50. I let out a sigh, relieved I made it in time, only to realize I don't know which class I'm in.

Suddenly, I hear a voice from my side. "Zalea, good morning. Are you ready for class today?" I look and see a very iconic character from the show Iruka Sensei

I stutter for a second, then say, "Yeah, sure. I can't wait; what's on the schedule for today?"

As we start talking, Iruka begins to walk up the stairs, and I follow him. He says, "We will be starting on reviews to prepare everyone for the upcoming exam in a month. We wouldn't want any of you repeating the year or washing out."

We reach the third floor, and he leads us to the middle classroom. I see the gesture asking me to go in first. I say, "That sounds great, and I look forward to it." As I walk into the class, I see an empty seat in the front row and take it.

As I settled down, I got a good look at the rest of the class, and I noticed I was in the main cast class. I see them scattered around the room, and they're usual clicks. Sasuke is in the back row by himself; Sakura and Ino are trying to sit next to him and end up arguing with each other. I notice Shikamaru and Chōji lazing in the back row and eating their snacks, Respectfully. I see Kiba towards the middle, Hinata and Shino just behind him, but I don't see Naruto anywhere in sight. He seems to be missing. I see a spot open in the back where he usually sits. The only thing he could be doing is pulling a prank somewhere, making him late for class.

As the clock strikes 8 o'clock, Iruka walks in with his paperwork, and the class doesn't quiet down as he reaches his desk, causing him to get very irritated and release the infamous big head jujutsu, telling everyone to shut up. As this happens, everyone gets in their seats and stops talking. Calming down as he starts taking attendance, Iruka goes through the list, eventually reaching Naruto's name but finding no response. I can see him physically get mad again. he ask if anyone has seen him and with a resounding no, and he ends up continuing to take attendance before explaining, what's on today's agenda. He tells everyone to get out their textbooks and start going over the basic history as he goes to handle some business outside of class. As he leaves, most of the students do as he said, and the rest continue to talk amongst themselves, ignoring doing essential reviews and thinking they've already mastered what has been taught in school.

As I grab my books, I realize I don't have any books with me. I most likely forgot them back at the apartment. I realized my mistake, but I heard a *ping* at that moment. I see an all too familiar Redbox floating in front of me. I take a quick look around me. I notice no one else sees it but me, and no one else hears the *ping* but me. Looking at the screen, I realize it's the system the entity was talking about, and I read what it says.

[congratulations on receiving the great Kunoich system!]

[my job is to make you the best ninja in the world!]

"wait, what!"

"What do you mean, Kunoich? I'm a boy. Don't you mean the great ninja system?"
