S1EP5 - ‘ The Miss Troublemaker Case ‘

I CHANGED MY POSITION WHEN I feel the bright light hit my face and turn my back against the light. When I moved, I felt the softness of the bed and the blankets. I then reach out to a pillow and hugged it.

I smiled as I feel soft and comfortable. I planned to continue my sleep when I hit a realization.

My bed is not soft.

I immediately opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. Pure white walls. Light brown sheets. White and brown pillows with some patterns. A fancy night stand, phone, and lamp. It's all expensive looking. Definitely not my room.

"AAHHH WHERE AM I?!" I screamed on top of my lungs as I sat up.

"You're so loud!" I looked at the door that just opened, and there appeared Rose.

I screamed again. "Sh*t, Rose! You scared the sh*t out of me!"

"Scaredy cat." She rolled her eyes before coming into the bedroom and sitting at the edge of the bed. She didn't sat close to me but I still scoot away.

"Why am I even here? Where are we?"

"Maybe at a hospital. At my house, duh."

"How would I know it's your home, I thought it's a hotel." I said when a thought went into my mind. " wait, aren't we at a karaoke bar yesterday? How did I get here? Did you bring me here? Did something happened to us? If we did, was I good in bed?"

Her eyes and mouth went wide open before quickly grabbing a nearby pillow and hitting me directly on the face. It's an understatement to assume that getting hit by a pillow by Rose is not painful. It's like I was being slapped in the face but it's not a bony palm but a soft pillow. And instead of my face getting red, it's as if my whole brain shook in its cranium.

"What was that for?!"

"Are you serious? That's really the first thing you thought of? You're so disgusting I wanna slap you. You really thought I'll do the nasty and with you?"

"Hey in my defense, I don't like to have sex with a teammate at the same time my enemy - which is only you. But if something did happen while I was intoxicated with alcohol well I don't mind. What happened already happened." I said with a shrug.

"Well lucky for the both of us, that did not happen." ROSE stated. "Anyways, you got too drunk last night. We needed to go home early. But you got too drunk and you still haven't sobered up to go home on your own so we gave you a ride. Well, actually it's really Rein who gave us a ride. But when Rein asked you where you live, you didn't answer. You even puked in his car. So I said alright you can just stay at my home since I have a lot of rooms here."

"Speaking of. We all have been working for as a team but we never went to each other's house." I stated my realization.

"Oh yeah. Anyway, go ahead and change into these." She said before putting the clothes that she was holding ever since she got in down on the bed.

I grab them and examined the things she brought. A blue polo shirt, black pants, and even an undergarment. All clearly belongs to a male.

"Whose clothes are these?" I asked.

"Actually those are my older brother's old clothes and recently he decluttered his closet. The maid was going to donate it today. Good thing I was able to get some. Don't worry, those are clean. And you can keep them if you want." ROSE said before standing up. "I'll be waiting for you downstairs. There's breakfast. And be quick, we have work."

And just like that, she left me in the room without even explaining about this 'work'.

After taking a shower and getting rid of the smell of puke from my body, I wore the clothes that Rose gave me. Just wanna say na she definitely got style. We may not be always in good terms, but I can't help admitting it. Because I actually look good.

Though I look handsome all the time but I look fine in just a simple look. I left the bed room and I just wanna say her house look so magnificent. From the hallway itself, you could really see that the people living in this house are very rich. The expensive looking walls and floorings. There are also some paintings and fake plants on big pots.

Because I'm always with Rose at work and we always have petty fights and she doesn't act like a spoiled-rich kid, I often forgot that she came from a powerful family. And I almost forgot that her brother is the heir of their company and would become the next CEO.

As I got down, I looked for the kitchen. It's not that hard to find because the maids helped me point where it's located. Sure enough, breakfast is on the table and Rose was already eating. I joined her quietly.

I didn't ask about what our work would be about yet. When we left their house and when we're in the company's car, which is driven by Vic, that's only the time that I asked.

"We have a new mission?" I asked.

"Yep. I heard it from Rein hyung when I went to pick up this car that Jin hyung called him yesterday that we have a new mission. Neither August hyung and Jin hyung said anything about this particular mission yet, though. But I was ordered that we should visit one site that is connected to this mission." VIC answered.

I nodded and didn't ask anything anymore until we arrive at the location. Several "crime scene do not cross" tapes were found in the surrounding area. Currently there was a few police inspectors at the crime scene who immediately identified us and so we just got inside easily.

Indeed as we entered the scene, the bar and club's state was messy which was usually only messy because there was a lot of people. The place was as if there was raining bullets, literally.

We looked around the bar to investigate on our own. If ever there's more information we would surely know it when we get to the office so we didn't need to ask the police onsite.

After getting enough of what we can because most of the evidence were probably in the police's custody and already ongoing in the forensics so we didn't really need to do anything. So after that we returned to BST Building.

A meeting was held between our team, Master Hawk, and two from the management who are in high positions. They are nearly at Master Hawk's position, but of course the founder is the highest among them all.

"The case of Miss Troublemaker has been going on for over five years now, but at first we didn't even know that it is a work of what will be a serial killer's work. I mean, usually no one wouldn't know around the first murders. Then it is only recently when a breakthrough was made that apparently that the killer is a female.

Obviously, this is a heavy topic and a problem we have to fix soon. It seemed that the culprit doesn't only target one city or district but randomly targets. That's why the National Bureau of Investigation and Ministry of Justice decided to seek help to the secret agents. Policemen and secret agents have to team up as this is a national emergency."
