"Unchain him."

Adnan pointed to a Turkish, who resembled a bone with no marrow.

The Soldiers complied to his wishes, unchaining the poor man, and brought him to Adnan.

"Chain him, over there."

Adnan pointed to a rusty old desk, in the corner of the musty old room. The desk had a built in padlock, which was used to chaining people. Once a person is handcuffed and chained there, the chances of him escaping from there were none to zero.

"Yes, Mr. Sultan."

The Soldiers dragged the Turkish, towards it, and started chaining him to the desk, locking the padlock securely with a key, and handing it to Raines.

Once in lock and key, the Turkish started begging, but Adnan picked up a dagger from the table and walked in his direction, a monstrous glint in his eye.

"Mr. Sultan please! Leave me, I will do anything! Anything! Please just spare my life! I will dedicate my life to you! Please!"

The Turkish squirmed within his bonds, but the chains holding him prey, didn't even moved a notch.

"Do you think I'll let you go?"

Adnan asked, standing near his head.

"I-I think you can let me go. Please! I will--"

Before the man could finish the sentence, Adnan gripped his neck fuiously.

"Too late. I'm not in the forgiving mood."

With that he slashed at the man's throat, making a large slit just over his jugular vein. The vein erupted causing a splutter of blood to swish out, as though it wasn't someone's throat but a water fountain instead.

Immediately Adnan stepped away from the red liquid, as it flowed steadily. The man twiched, shaking and gurgling, trying to break through his bond, but nothing helped him. The chains held him fast, not even allowing him to touch his bleeding neck.

His legs banged against the desk, making a racket but that only intensified the noise.

Adnan glanced at the remaing duet, who were looking as though they were about to collapse from all the blood and gore.

Even Raines and the Chief looked a little shacky, but they composed themsleves after a moment's thought.

Adnan went and sat down in the decaying chair, looking thoughtfully at the bleeding man, whose blood was marking the floor now, and was spreading on the ground terribly fast.

"Bring that young man," he said, putting his finger on the shapr edge of the knife, and drawing his own blood out, "over there."

As he came down, the young man was trembling like a leaf on an October's night. He folded his hands in front of Adnan, and pleaded as though he was pleading to God Himself.

"Don't you guys get sick of begging?"

Adnan raised an eyebrow, cockiness clearly seen on his expression.

"Mr. Sultan please have some mercy! We are begging you to spare our lives! We will do anything in return!"

The young lad said, gesturing to himself and the other old man, who was apparently his father.

"What a bond."

Picking up a long, brown leather whip from the table, examining it by rubbing his hands on it, seeing it's texture and robustness. He looked up at the man, and said in mock salute,

"Okay. I'll spare the old man's life. But first he will see you die."

"Mr. Sultan, please I-

Adnan brought the whip down on his face, and a howl left the man as he fell backwards on his back.

"Hold him."

Adnan gestured to the Soldiers, as they came forth to follow his instructions.

They held his arms and legs, while Adnan again slashed on his face, making his cry out in pain, and his father to scream out.

"Now count, or I will shoot you."

Adnan ordered, kicking him in the ribs.

Seeing that he nodded, Adnan whipped it up again, and cut it through the air towards him.

With a tremendous howl of pain, the man jerked, but a single word uttered from him,

"1."

Satisfied, Adnan again hit on the same spot, wrecking a havoc in the man's exterior body. He screamed as if mad, causing the Soldiers to tighten their grip.

Adnan placed the whip back on it's place, and picked up the Ruger shotgun. Aiming it at the man's chest, he pulled the trigger, ready for the bullet to fly past. It jerked his arm lightly, and pierced the young man's torso, over his heart. The man fell on the floor with a scream, clawing at the ground. His fingers made indentations in the dirt covered floor, as he grappled at the ground, as though fighting some invisible beast.

After some minutes, he also went still and cold just like the other three. His breathing receded to exist.

"Allah will avenge my son!"

Adnan was jerked out of his fascination with blood and gore, as he looked up at the still dangling old man.

"Who do you think you are talking to?"

The Chief barked out.

"Adnan Sultan. The man who killed, and murdered people in cold blood. A man who likes drinking and bathing in innocent people's blood. The man who is a beast, a monster, a gruesome sadi-"

Before he completed the sentence, he eyes rolled back in his head, as he stared at his dirt ridden shirt, from which drops of his own blood fell, travelling down towards the ground, and finally making a puddle between his legs. His last breaths gave way, as the light left his eyes forever.

Adnan's finger was still on the trigger, his breathing hard. He regained his posture, straightening himself and placing the shotgun back on the table.

"We are leaving."

He exited the door of the room, leaving an eerie silence behind. Soon Raines and the Chief followed him, after instructing the Soldiers to bury the bodies somewhere safe.

State your business.

"Ooh! You are Adnan Sultan?"

Naz drawled out her words.

"No, I am not. This is the hotel landline, in which he is staying."

The male voice replied.

"And who are you?"

The confidence from the wine, filled her up, daring her to do things that she normally wouldn't.

"I am Raines, Mr. Sultan's butler."

The voice said.

"Ooh! Can I talk to Adnan for a moment?"

Naz asked, her inner self daring her to do the unthinkable.

"Do you have some work with him?"

The male on the other line questioned.

"No. I am his cousin though."

Naz asserted the word cousin.

"Oh okay. I will transfer the line to him."

The line went dead, after some minutes, her cell phone started ringing again indicating a call from the same number.

"Hello."

She picked it up, and said tentatively.

"Do you have some work for me? Have mom said you to call me?"

Questions shot at her, from the other end, where now the deep male voice was replaced by a resonant, authoritative male's voice.

"You don't have manners do you?"

She asked, startling herself.

"Excuse me?"

The male replied, exasperated.

"Yes, of course! Who starts asking questions like that? For all I know about you is that you are my cousin, and your name is Adnan Sultan."

Nazpari exclaimed, anger flooding her veins now.

"And who are you?"

The male inquisitively asked.

"Nazparriii."

Naz slurred her words.

Slurring her words, Adnan quickly caught up that she was drunk. Not just lightly drunk either, the heavy one.

"Are you drunk?"

He asked.

"Maybeeee."

Skurring her words again, she lost her vision for a nanosecond.

"From what I've searched on Google is that you are Aunt Aarfa's daughter, and Talal' s sister. Am I right?"

He confirmed.

"Righhtttt!"

Blinking her eyes she said.

"Oh fuck! You really are drunk, aren't you?"

He asked, something laced in his words.

"The wine was yummy!"

Naz exclaimed like a child wanting candy.

"You know how much dangerous it is for you to be out at this time of the night? It's 2 am."

"It's 2? Oh well, no problem. I want to get wasted today."

Naz replied getting bored of this talk.

"Nazpari, please go home."

She heard Adnan say.

"Home? I have no home!"

She said, again losing her balance.

"What do you mean?"

Curiousity got the better of him, as he questioned her.

"To normal people, the word home indicates peace and love, but for me it is nothing more than a graveyard. Four walls filled with scars and silent screams."

Her tone was silent, very silent as she told Adnan things that she would have only taken to her grave. This proved how drunk she was, at the edge of fainting and losing her senses to the night.

"Naz, I think you are not well. Is there any friend with you, who can give you a ride back home?"

Pondering over her words he asked.

"My friend just left for the night with someone. She won't be back till tomorrow."

Naz answered rubbing her temple, to reduce the throb of pain building inside.

"Shoot!"

Adnan cursed.

"You curse like an old pirate."

Laughing she said.

"Old pirate, huh? Not bad."

A small smile crept up his lips.

"Yup."

Her laugh echoed in the night, like jingling bells.

"Nazpari, I am serious. Can't you get back?"

"Hm, unless I hichhike with someone, there's no other way."

Matter-of-factly she said, shrugging her shoulders.

"What the fuck! Okay, than wait. I am coming."

Adnan's exasperated voice came from the other end. He was repeatedly moving his fingers to and fro in his wet hair, that stick on his forehead.

"You are comingggg? Are you maaadd?"

Naz slurred, laughing again as he had just said something that was the next best cosmic joke.

"Yes, apparently I am. But I won't be able to sleep if I don't come and get you."

"I am not some damsel in distress, who you can rescue, Mr. Sultan."

Rolling her eyes she muttered.

"I thought so too. But guess what? You. Are. Now wait for me, I am coming."

With that the line went dead, signalling the end of their phone conversation.

Her purse hung on her arm, as she waited for Adnan to come, half thinking that he won't come to get her. Half an hour had been passed, but no sign of him anywhere.

Startled, she looked behind her, to find a drunken Xeres standing behind her, giving her a sickly, sweet smile. He walked towards her, and said,

"I have to tell you so something."

He held out his hand, and gestured for her to take hold of it. Just as Naz did it, due to too much intoxication, he pulled her towards himself. Wrapping an arm around her slender waist, he slurred,

"I want you, babe."

Naz tried pushing him away, but to no avail, again he said,

"C'mon darling. Just one kiss. Only one."

He scrunched up his lips amd brought them close to Nazpari's face making her gag in absolute horror.

She pushed him away, but than he came horrifyingly close.

But then something happened.

He was knocked to the ground, by a certain someone who was standing beside Nazpari. She looked up to see the excat same replica of the man, who she had uptil now only seen in pictures and magazines.

"I think she said no!"

Her vision started swirling and red danced infront of her eyes. She quickly caught hold of Adnan's arm, gripping it tightly and touched her forehead.

"Are you alright?"

Adnan said, afraid to touch her.

"I-I think I am going to faint."

She replied looking Adnan squarely in the eye.

Just when he wanted to say something, her vision went dark and she fell limply down, but before hitting the ground, Adnan caught her in his arms adjusting  her so that he would carry her to his car.

She lay limp, and her head lulled on Adnan's chest as he carried her, weaving throught the hordes of students, who were drinking, partying and typically wasting themselves out.

Not knowing that this night was going to be extra frenetic for both of them.
