Naya was utterly mortified for a short moment. Having reasoned within her, she asked him intuitively, "Why...? Because she was a maid's daughter?" She was quiet thinking Lord Edam would reply. Since he did not, she continued, "It was just forbidden to fall in love with slaves not that it's an abomination. An abomination cost a death but forbidden cost an exile." 

"Uhn! Good, you know better than anyone else... Tina." Lord Edam whispered directly in her ear. She shivered slightly. Still, he mouthed softly, " This is the reason you, Sharon, and that child might end up slaughtered."
