Chapter 28

When Ari and Grayson arrived at the chalet, Ari was surprised to learn that they had the penthouse. It was a two-bedroom suite that stretched across the whole top of the chalet. Picture windows lined the walls. However, Ari was too tired to enjoy the spectacular view. Instead, she opted to take a little nap, but ended up sleeping most of the morning.

“How about room service?” Grayson asked when she was fully awake.

She snuggled onto his shoulder. “You, my husband, read my mind.” Although she had slept for a few hours, she still felt tired. In fact, she could have lain back down and slept until the next morning, but she didn’t want to waste the time they had together.

“Want anything in particular?” Grayson raised an eyebrow expectantly.

“Whatever you want.” Then Ari had a thought. “Sandwiches?”

Grayson smiled, already on the phone. “Yes, room service? We’d like a tray of cress and cucumber sandwiches....”

“Meat!” Ari mouthed.
