Chapter 27: You Think I Went Easy on You?

Jennifer opened the door and stood behind Jane from finance. Her voice was cold and clear. "Jane, I remember this is your second time here. The first time you were here, the data was not correct, so I asked you to take it back and change it. It should have been sent here on Friday night. It is already Sunday. If it weren't for this problem, would you have been willing to work overtime today?"

Jane was extremely careless in her work. Everyone in the company knew that she had a fling with the vice director of the finance department. If Jennifer hadn't spotted this mistake before it was sent to Hans, who knew how many people would be implicated in it?
