8 Chapter 1: Modern Konoha Village

Don't be surprised, that nothing changes in the beginning, my MC doesn't have time to do missions or useless stuff like that. He's got to seriously power up. Like seriously, he gotta box with gods soon.

The air crackles with tension as teenage Boruto and Kawaki stand poised, their gazes locked in a silent battle of wills amidst the chaotic backdrop of the roaring Ten Tails Beast. Boruto's voice cuts through the tumult, laden with weariness but tinged with hope.

"I don't want to kill you, Kawaki. There's still a chance to fix this," Boruto implores, his words carrying the weight of his convictions.

Kawaki's response is cold and unwavering, a stark contrast to Boruto's plea for peace. "I won't let you leave this time," he retorts, his voice dripping with resolve as he echoes the chilling words spoken when he struck down the 7th Hokage.

Boruto's hand moves instinctively to his Ninja Headband, the metal plate glinting in the dim light as he secures it in place. With a subtle shift, his left eye transforms, the sclera darkening to a foreboding gray while the center emits a piercing light blue glow.

The battlefield trembles with anticipation as Boruto and Kawaki charge at each other, their movements fueled by the echoes of a future yet to unfold and the weight of destiny pressing down upon them.

In the distance, Konoha Village stands encased within a transparent blue bubble, a fragile barrier protecting it from the encroaching darkness. The scene is both surreal and ominous, a harbinger of the trials and tribulations that lie ahead.

Before the truth of this foreboding vision can fully take hold, Boruto Uzumaki awakens from his slumber, the remnants of his unsettling dream lingering like a haunting melody in the recesses of his mind.

As he rises to greet the dawn, Boruto pushes aside the lingering sense of unease, steeling himself for the challenges that await him. Namely, having to deal with his new team...

"Well, at least, I get to sleep in for a while" Boruto turned over and continued to sleep, with a small but noticeable black rhombus on his palm.

...

"...If you compare chakra as energy, then I can do just about anything with it, but the problem is, I need to properly find a direction to start training...attack and defence, I can start from there..." Kurou sats on the lake focusing on keeping his pants from getting wet and eventually his whole body.

If Chakra is energy, that Shinobi use to do anything & everything, then I should be able to compensate for my lack of defence...

Cracking open another book, "Trying something without a clear idea, is probably a bad idea, considering -if regular chakra can't do it? Then how about using chakra with attributes?".

I sat perched on the calm surface of the small lake, his focus sharpened to a fine point as he sought to master the elusive art of chakra control.

With each breath, he willed his chakra to dance beneath his feet, striving to keep his clothes dry despite the gentle ripples lapping at the water's edge.

"They could absorb chakra," Kurou muttered to himself, his voice a whisper against the backdrop of nature's symphony. "Dealing with them head-on would be unwise."

With a furrowed brow, Kurou pondered his next move, the best option would be to explore Earth Release, after all, what would be the more obvious choice for defence?

What if, I tried applying chakra to myself like with Kunai & shuriken?... That's dangerous and not exactly going to help me, offensively though...

But, the risk is natural. "So, the steps for this would be...changing its nature to be a still dense and still, then a constant application, and it'd be best if it was black or red..."

[Auther: For quite a while, the manga is just Boruto's sad yet familiar intro arc, so even If I wanted to, Kurou's got nothing to do, the missions are solo and his team isn't here. So...insert a long training montage]

...

Despite the previous attack on the Leaf Village, most people had already gone back to their way of life, aside from the shinobi.

Whenever village repair was to be done, a storm of C/D-rank missions would be issued and almost all of them were related to construction.

Sadly, what I care about isn't missions, while combat is needed to formulate a plan, battle experience isn't that useful. Because compared to the alien cult members, I'm going to fight, it isn't much.

*Ding!*

With a casual ding, the clerk turns, "Hello, Miss Ten." this was the previous classmate of our beloved Hokage, TenTen. "Oh, hey Kurou, I suppose it's the usual for you?" my usual is string, shuriken, senbon and metal wire. "I believe, the price hasn't changed, correct?"

A slight chuckle came, "If only, everyone was as polite as you, nope I'm still extremely affordable!" and with that, my weekly social event quota was done.

...

Could you possibly guess what a horrible thing I'm about to do to myself? Doubt it, but it's necessary to get this right. "Putting, shuriken and my small kunai storage in a bundle around my arm, similar to an inclosed body trap"

[Auther: Imagine, tying a a rope made of sharp metal around your arm with no gaps.]

*exhales*

No matter, how much I assured myself I could heal from this, it's still insane, there are safer ways...but none are achievable or as fast as this. "Whew...here goes..." I'll tie a brick to the rope & wires, to cause them to rapidly spin around my arm.

I'm going to rip my arms to bloody shreds, killing myself because the pain will knock me out and die of serious blood loss, however, this is where my training comes in.

The Chakra Matrix system, the word chakra is the energy we, shinobi use. Matrix means an environment or material in which something develops, basically a place or object of growth. oh, and system means things working together.

That's what this will hopefully, be a self-growing, autonomous, system that protects, defends and assists in me not losing to damn Boruto! "Compose yourself, Kurou. He's not worth it."

Whew...remember, this is far more important. The Chakra Matrix System will create a permanent chakra skeleton along my body, nerves and skin. Chakra armour on a different scale.

It'll be hard to keep it on for a long time but soon, I'll be able to use my chakra passively to charge it and then keep it on even as I sleep.

The difficulty of this is...almost impossible, literally inconceivable. No possible human could do this, so the only way I found was to force myself to rely on this to survive and thus force my body to accept this.

To be more than two feet in the grave, at this point, once my body is completely overtaken by pain, it'll be unable to reject the 'medicine' and happily let me take me over.

And it all starts with today...

[Auther: Do you all have any questions? Maybe a couple of 'wtf?' Or If I'm seeming more and more like a delusional elementary student who doesn't understand how chakra works?] Or maybe, someone actually wants to see how explain in-depth how the heck this works.
