2 The birth of Uzumaki Rikuto

Chapter 2

"You should just surrender. The both of you." Said a masked Haku

Sasuke got in a stance, Kunai in his right hand as he glared at the enemy. "Not a chance in hell." He said

Naruto created a few Kage Bushin and had them withdraw shuriken which launched themselves at her.

Haku dodged the flying projectiles before doing a series of backflips. She sighed before placing a hand on her mask.

Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other before at the masked ninja as she removed her mask revealing a face that Naruto loved very much.

The blonde widened his eyes.

"Hello Naruto-kun." Said Haku

"Haku-chan, you're…"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me?! Your with Zabuza! Your the enemy!"

Haku frowned. "If I'm being honest with myself I was…I was scared. I thought you'd hate me and leave me."

"Haku-chan…."

"Dobe! Don't listen to her! The love she showed you was fake!"

"Shut up!"

Naruto had a hurt look on his face as he looked at the girl he thought loved him.

"When I was with you nothing was fake, I really do love you Naruto-Kun." She said softly. "Originally I had planned to convince you to join us but now I've realized I can't force you to abandon your friends, but I can't let you kill the man I love like a father. Naruto-kun, I hope you can forgive me."

"Naruto! Focus!"

"Y-yeah! Right!"

Naruto and Sasuke laid on the ground motionless. Haku had bo intention of killing her beloved or his friend, all she was trying to do was stall them so Zabuza could take out the bridgebuilder.

Haku gasped as she saw Kakashi charging Zabuza , Lightning sparking dangerous around his hand. She gulped. 'I'm so sorry Naruto-Kun. Rikuto-chan.' She thought before summoning a Crystal ice mirror.

A moment later a Crystal ice mirror appeared in front of Kakashi just as he shoved his lightning blade forward, instead of it striking Zabuza it got Haku instead as she appeared out of the mirror.

"Haku! No!

Just as the life left Haku's eyes she remembered the Jutsu that Zabuza casted on her just hours before arriving on the bridge

-A few hours before arriving on the bridge-

"Are you sure about this kid?" Zabuza asked her surrogate daughter who nods as she laid down in the bed.

Zabuza sighed before going through a series of hand seals. As he finished going through said hand seals he placed his hands on her belly and within moments her belly grew in size.

"Ninja art; Life growth Jutsu."

Haku cried out in pain. "Zabuza-sama! The baby! It's-"

"I know!" Zabuza ran and got some towels and warm water. It was a long and grueling process but eventually the baby was born and Haku got to hold her little Rikuto for the first time.

Rikuto had inherited Haku's raven hair but had got Naruto's cerulean eyes. S see although the tips of his hair was blonde.

Haku didn't know why but for some reason she had a bad feeling about the future. Her future.

"Don't worry Mei-san Is on the way and by the time we're at the bridge hopefully Mei will be here."

"Yeah, that's reassuring. Thanks Zabuza-sama."

The demon of the mist smiled.

Tears welled up in Haku's eyes as she realized she wouldn't be able to be there for Rikuto, but he would at least have his father and Mei. It wouldn't be easy growing up without a mother but she believed he could do it, after all he was their son.

Sasuke looked at Naruto with wide eyes as Kakashi told him of the relationship he had been on n these past couple weeks. Naruto and that Haku girl had actually been in love and Kakashi killed her, unintentionally but still he killed her.

"Naruto…I…I'm sorry." Sasuke said. "I-If you ever need anything just know I'm always here."

Naruto wiped his tears away. "Thanks. That means a lot Sasuke."

And for once the Uchiha actually smiled

Terumi Mei was saddened by the loss of her former comrade and old friend but as he requested she took in Rikuto. He was a cute little baby with raven locks and cute blue eyes.

Mei didn't have experience with children or anything like that but a promise was a promise. It was a shame his mother was gone. He would never be able to meet the woman who risked her life so he could live. It was tragic.

According to Zabuza he performed the Life growth Jutsu which makes the person it's used on lose some of their life energy. This daughter of Zabuza's must've really her baby boy. Zabuza also explained that the father was none other than Uzumaki Naruto the Kyuubi's Jinchuutiki.

Mei decided that it was best if Naruto didn't know about the boy until he was older. According to reports Naruto was hell bent on becoming the Hokage and earning recognition from the village. It would be better if he could train to become a powerful Hokage instead of focusing on his kid.

It was sad, she didn't know if it was the right decision or not but this way Naruto could focus on becoming as strong as he could be. No doubt Haku's death drove him to become stronger. Mei would raise Rikuto and when he got a little older he would train him. According to Zabuza his mother was a member of the Yuki Clan. They were known for their powerful ice abilities.

Things would be interesting, more interesting than usual.

As Rikuto grew older the civil war in Kiri was halted as Mei and her ally's took out those that wanted those with Kekkai Genkai gone were eliminated and with the death of the former Mizukage she became the new Mizukage.

Mei was briefly involved in the 4th great ninja war as the Mizukage which lasted a few days, not too long after the war she decided to hand the reigns over to a new kage so she could fully dedicate her life to raising the boy who she would love as if she were her own blood. Her grandson.
