3 Sarada Uchiha

(Sarada's PoV)

"I am going."

I whispered as I left for the academy, not wanting to wake up Mumma.

Mumma is always busy in the Hospital in her research as usual. Well, now that I will be an official ninja soon, I will be able to attend mom's classes on medical ninjutsu and spend more time with her. 

I am not really complaining that she is busy though. What she is researching right now is very important afterall.

Chakra diseases.

Now that the world is at peace due to Uncle Naruto, instead of research for deadly ninjutsus, more research has shifted towards medical ninjutsu. The main goal of the world has shifted from killing as many shinobi of the enemy village to save as many lives as possible.

From what she has told me, there has been many cases of chakra diseases throughout the Shinobi history, especially in those who have bloodline or huge amount of chakra.

My uncle, Itachi also died from a chakra disease.

When I was 3-4 years old, I also developed a disease related to chakra, which led my eyesight to degrade. While Dad has the best eye in the world, the Rinnegan, I need glasses...

'I hope Mumma will find a cure soon...'

Yeah...

From what I have been told, it happened because of affects of Kaguya's dimension. Mom was travelling with Papa, and she didn't notice that she was a month into her pregnancy due to effects of intense gravity, which she was resisting with her Byakugou.

Both Mumma and Papa often threw up in that dimension, so it wasn't weird that she didn't notice that she was pregnant. It wasn't until Mumma saw her stomach bulge that she noticed it.

Anyway, the medicine that worked for the Sage of Six Paths, and Uncle Naruto, was able to prevent me from developing any serious issues, but my eyes got degraded.

So Mumma has been quite busy either holed up in the hospital, or exploring the other continents for clues for treating my eyesight.

But what about Papa?

I only have pictures with him when I was a newborn to some months old. So, I don't remember ever meeting him.

Will I even meet him? I don't know.

Will I even get such cool eyes like him? I imagined myself having a Rinnegan in my left eye like Papa..., no. Papa was left handed before loosing his arm, but I am right handed like Mumma. It will be much cooler if I get the Rinnegan in my right eye instead.

Ugh. Whatever. I am sure that I will also get it one day. Uncle Naruto does say that I am much better than Papa when he was a kid.

"Your Dad always lost to me. He was jealous and wanted to catch up to me. He did eventually.

Though he still lost the Hokage's position to me. I still remember how he declared that he will becoke Hokage.

And no one even considered him a candidate. Heh."

Pfft! I would really like to see that scene when he declared that.

'I wonder why Mumma married that jerk, if he can't even come home in 15 years despite having the Rinnegan.'

Well, unless time travel is possible, I wouldn't get to see his embarrassing past. For now, let's just claim the first position in the Graduation Exam.

"Yo, Sarada. Prepared to come in second?"

Ugghhh...

"Only results will tell, Boruto."

'And I will come first. It is the first step for me to climb to the position of the Hokage, just like Uncle Naruto.'
