1 Uzumaki Nagato.

————————————————

waking up, I washed my face and went to the living room, from where I could see the kitchen and my mom who was finishing up making food. She had dark blue hair and lavender pupilless eyes.

"Oh, good morning, Nagato," her smooth voice entered my ears. Not wanting to keep her waiting, I quickly replied, "Good morning, Mom. So, what's for breakfast?"

She just smiled before replying, "It's Ramen; your father really likes it."

'Eh? He's here? Usually, he's in the Hokage's office all the time. What happened?' Calming my mind, I went ahead and peeked into their room. I saw my father sleeping peacefully, his face looking like he hadn't slept in years.

'Honestly, I don't even want to know what kind of work he does there, always saying the village is my family and all that. But I don't hate him, and I'm not annoying like my twin.'

I turned just in time to see the idiot walking down the stairs with his bed hair. His yellow hair was still disheveled, not combed.

My brother, Uzumaki Boruto, has the yellow hair of our father, unlike me and my sister, Uzumaki Himawari. We have the dark hair of our mother, Uzumaki Hinata, I look exactly like Boruto but with dark hair like my mom, and I'm a lot more mature than him.

You see, I was reborn in this fanfiction by Ikemoto, where Sasuke has to run out of chakra every few minutes. I know a lot about the future, but it was already changed the second I was born. It only means that I can't trust the story and must do things my own way with my own power.

I was 10 years old when I suddenly found myself in this world as a baby. I was reborn as the son of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuuga. Naruto named me Nagato, perhaps in honor of him, I think.

"Look who's awake and didn't have time to comb their hair," my voice rang out with a hint of mockery as I sat on the couch and turned on the TV.

"Whatever," he grumbled as he went, retreating back to his room. After some time, he jumped down the stairs again. This time, he had his hair combed just like in the show, and he was wearing his jacket.

"Isn't Himawari awake yet?" Mom asked as she taste-tested the food to be sure, glancing out from the kitchen toward me. "Can you go wake her up?"

"Yup," I nodded as I stood up and began walking towards her room. Opening the door, I saw my cute little sister sleeping peacefully.

I went ahead and gently shook her a few times before her eyes opened, and then immediately, a cute smile graced her lips as she mumbled, "Good morning big brother"

"Good morning Hima" I hugged her and took her out of her bed, putting her down after some seconds.

We went outside to the living room after she washed her face, and once we were all there, Mom smiled and kissed Himawari's head, I'm slightly jealous of Hima. She then went to her room, which is also Dad's, to wake him up.

My knowledge of the future is up until the Otsutsuki invasion, the Chunin Exams when Boruto got caught using scientific ninja tools. Those things were already becoming quite popular at this time.

I don't have many significant jutsu right now, other than shadow clones, FTG and the Hyuga clan martial arts that our aunt Hanabi taught us, both Boruto and me.

Well, he was a natural genius at everything he did, but me? I am only as powerful as him because I had the consciousness of a ten-year-old when I was born.

I have the Flying Thunder God jutsu because of a coincidence; it was lying around in the house when I saw the scroll and asked Dad about it. He gave it to me, just for me to read for some time. I was ten at that time. From that day on, I worked nonstop to try to perfect a mark for it to work.

Eventually, my thoughts were cut off by the footsteps of our parents approaching the dining table, where we would eat our ramen.

"So, tomorrow's the new year at the academy, right?" Dad asked after he took his seat and said the prayer, which is 'Thank you for the food.'

I nodded as Boruto grumbled about 'What's it got to do with you' and some other complaints.

Ignoring his bitching, I took the chopsticks, broke them in two, held them perfectly in my fingers, dipped them in the ramen, and took the noodles, placing them in my mouth. 'So good!' I could only imagine what my expression looked like.

"We're already ahead of the academy, why do we have to go there again ?" Boruto asked as he ate. The statement raised an eyebrow from Dad. Mom was well aware of how strong we already were, but Dad wasn't because he mostly wasn't here. Boruto could make four to five shadow clones, and I could make seven to eight of them.

"Boruto, it's necessary to socialize and make friends," Mom said in place of Dad before he could even open his mouth. Boruto nodded, likely because it was Mom who said that, not Dad.

I also had the desire to spend more time with Dad, but it's not like I wanted to keep him all to myself all the time. The problem was that Dad just wouldn't come back home and would stay in the Hokage's office all the time.

"Dad, will you be there tomorrow? At the academy?" I asked him. I knew he would be there tomorrow, but it was just a confirmation for me. He smiled and nodded, saying, "I can't miss out on tomorrow; your generation is the village's future, after all."

After we finished eating, Mom and Dad just waved to us and went to their room. After some time, Dad was dressed in the Hokage attire and went to his office. Mom was looking happy for some reason. Could it be that he kissed her? Nah.

Well, tomorrow is the first day of the academy, and I was thinking about preventing Boruto from destroying the 7th Hokage's face with that train.

"Hey, I'm going to paint the Hokage face again, want to come with me?" Smirking slightly, Boruto whispered to me as I shook my head. I remembered what happened when I had gone with him that one time.

Mom made us wipe down the entire Hokage faces, not only the one we painted but the entire things. Shivering slightly at the thought of what she would do this time, I firmly shook my head and went to my room to get some peace.

'Tomorrow is the day I will officially start my journey to the top!'
