Katsuo, while flying towards Gojo, who was just watching him make his move, clapped his hands; but it wasn't a normal clap.

He clapped his hands while executing a [Black Flash] with each hand.

The purpose of this action is to try to prove one of Katsuo's theories.

If the space around Gojo violently fluctuated, would Gojo's [Limitless] still work?

Katsuo, trying to prove his point, launched a kick right after clapping his hands but he felt his leg infinitely slow down after reaching near Gojo.

However, Katsuo sensed something different this time.

He felt a fluctuation in Gojo's cursed energy, and with some thought, he completed a hypothesis.

'The space fluctuations that I created destabilized Gojo-sensei [Infinity] causing him to lose control for a moment and making him waste a tiny bit of CE.'

Katsuo, who didn't want to lose this chance, continued to pursue Gojo and attack him this way, however, Gojo's [Infinity] was no longer destabilizing.

'As expected of Gojo-sensei, to immediately fix his weakness, that [Six Eyes] is really a cheat, but not everything is lost. It seems that the space fluctuations sealed his ability to teleport, but if he can still use [Infinity], he can still probably use [Blue], [Red], or [Purple], so it's most likely that he is simply tanking the hits so that I can test my limits.'

At this moment, Gojo was becoming more and more impressed with Katsuo.

His student had pushed him to the point where he found something to improve on his technique and made it that trying to teleport away would cause grave health danger to himself.

Ever since he started fighting Katsuo, his excitement was soaring higher and higher, causing his smile to split wider.

If someone saw the fight, they would probably think two maniac battle junkies were going at each other.

The fight seemed like a stalemate however Gojo hadn't gone all out and Katsuo's CE reserve was half spent due to so many consecutive [Black Flash]es, so Katsuo advanced to the next step of his plan.

He took advantage of how his teacher willingly took the hits and prepared his trump card.

He shaped his right hand like a claw and launched a palm attack at Gojo using [Absolute Refinement] followed by [Absolute Dispersion] and the following happened.

Katsuo hand that touched [Infinity], sucked part of the CE that was creating it, greatly destabilizing the part of [Infinity] where Katsuo touched. After that, a force, that he still couldn't control very well, appeared in front of his palm in an expanding way, causing it to destabilize and repulse Gojo's cursed energy in his own direction.

"[Red]"

Even in such a "precarious" situation, Gojo still fired a point-blank [Red] that blasted Katsuo away but Katsuo didn't even care about the serious injuries because he just subconsciously healed himself after taking the hit.

'I did it.'

Thought Katsuo as he looked at his palm mid-flight.

'My [Absolute Refinement] affected [Infinity] and I felt [Absolute Dispersion] canceling it where it reached it. It even blasted Gojo-sensei away, by repulsing his own CE to him when he was defenseless. Gojo-sensei wasn't serious but it worked! Both my techniques worked!'

Katsuo clenched his fist as he did a backflip in time to land on the floor and create two trenches with his feet, due to the strength of [Red]'s repulsive force.

Katsuo looked at Gojo, who was floating centimeters above the ground while laughing with his hand over his eyes.

"Katsu-Chan! You're the second to have ever passed my [Infinity], however, you were much more special than the first. Show me something even more special!"

Katsuo, who had cooled off now, looked at his teacher, who had conjured various red spheres and blue spheres around him that were distorting the air and creating a wind storm, and said.

"Thanks, Gojo-sensei, but it's better to stop here. I've already used everything in my arsenal. I have nothing new to show you."

Katsuo had already figured his limits and knew that what would happen from now on, would only be an almost one-sided beating, so he did the smart thing and quit while he was ahead.

Gojo froze for a moment and released his technique. Even though it bummed him out to end the fight when he finally found somewhat of a match, he was still happy.

"Hahaha, Katsu-chan! Develop your techniques for a few more years and you will be as strong me and then we will fight again!"

Katsuo was also interested in fighting with Gojo's full power so he accepted the arrangement.

"It's a deal."

However, Gojo wasn't done yet.

He still wanted to show the ultimate ability of sorcerers to Katsuo, so that he could have a better idea while he developed his, so he rapidly approached Katsuo and put his hand on his shoulder while saying.

"But before we return, I still want you to experience something first. [Unlimited Void]"

Katsuo watched and felt as Gojo made a hand seal and a special barrier started forming around them.

Inside this barrier was manifested Gojo's innate domain and this technique was called [Domain Expansion].

He activated [Simple Domain] to resist it by himself, and Gojo took his hand off his shoulder.

"This is my [Domain Expansion], [Unlimited Void]. Katsu-chan, you reached the point where you can develop yours. I have high hopes for it."

Katsuo had already had the feeling that he was ready since his unbinding, so he impulsively tried it because he was also curious about it.

His hands joined together in a hand seal that he felt was right and brought forth his innate domain while a name that seemed to fit it perfectly appeared on his mind.

A pitch-black zone began slowly expanding from Katsuo, but he felt resistance and interrupted it because he remembered he was inside Gojo's domain and he thought it would be quite rude to open his domain inside Gojo's one.

'And also because I want to experience [Unlimited Void] effects to see if it was really like Jogo in the anime had said.'

Resolving himself, he dispersed the incomplete domain around him and he froze.

And continued frozen.

Gojo, who was speechless at how Katsuo executed his [Domain Expansion] as soon as he said he was ready to develop it, released his domain after seeing Katsuo succumb to the [Unlimited Void].

Katsuo immediately came to his senses a little embarrassed of his actions.

'Okay, it was really like that cursed spirit said in the anime. I felt and thought of everything but couldn't do anything. His thoughts where he explained what he felt on the domain were only one of infinite thoughts he was having at the moment, and it was the one that the viewers heard. Only that makes senses.'

Katsuo had learned a lot today, he only wanted to go to his bedroom with a smashed window to digest the gains of today.
