The bastard! how am I going to survive!
Set held out his hand summoning his titan blade. The sword hearing its master's call was flying at a speed the three couldn't match, if not for the faint red trail it left, they would have lost it long ago. The sword traveled what took the snake an hour in mere minutes. It passed through the waterfall and entered the opening. It flew through the opening and made its way through the tunnel. But as the sword traveled further through the tunnel, it was as if there was a force pushing it to go faster. Halfway through the tunnel, the sword's speed reached its peak. It only took the sword a minute to reach the cave Set was in.
The Sleeper-snake seeing its children burned to death was fuming with anger. It exhibited its fangs and charged towards Set with an even deeper bloodlust. It attacked Set trying to drive its fangs deep in his body. And it successfully did, its fangs pierced Sets chest and came out the other side.
Set opened coughed up a mouthful of blood as he roared in pain. But relishing the opportunity, Set summoned his Wolf Fang dagger and drove it deep into the Sleeper-snakes right eye. Now it was the snake's turn to feel pain! It thrashed around while making weirdly high-pitched noises. Its eye was bleeding profoundly. But it didn't seem as if he had dealt enough damage, so he tightened his grip on the dagger and twisted it around before he tore out his dagger.
The Sleeper-snake was now mad with pain but even before it could make a move, Set had already shoved his dagger deep into the other eye rendering it blind. The Sleeper-snake was in deep pain! It hissed and threw Set away. But before it could attack, a red light flashed cutting its body in two. After slicing through the Sleeper-snake, the Titan Blade made its way towards Set.
Set seeing his sword in action, grinned as he held out his hand. And within a second the Titan Blade entered the warm embrace of its master's hand. The blade excluded a frightening red light before calming down. But the day wasn't over!
Although the Titan Blade had sliced the snake in two, it hadn't killed it!
Set seeing the surprising amount of vitality the Sleeper-snake had, summoned his Crystal red face mask and unleashed his Hell flame. The blinded snake kept thrashing around, attacking at random hoping to hit its target. Set seeing an opening ran towards the Sleeper-snake and activated his GOD'S WILL ability, nailing the snake to the ground!
Set quickly jumped towards the snake while thrusting his mighty sword into the Sleeper-snake's head! And before it knew what had happened, a blade had gone through the top of his head and came out the bottom. Killing the snake instantly!

Set had killed the Sleeper-snake, but he wasn't done yet. With bloodlust in his eyes, he asked,
"System, how many Blood points do I have?"
[Host has twenty-two Blood points]
Set then proceeded to look at the Sleeper babies with greed, and then he proceeded to kill them all. It didn't even take a minute to kill all of them, he merely activated his Devil's domain skill and his GOD'S WILL ability. And because the snakes hadn't fully grown yet, they were easily pulled in and instantly killed.
Even though he hadn't made back what he had lost, one was always better than zero. Besides the Blood points, he had also gained a decent amount of battle experience which raised his power level to 12 and he even leveled up his Devil's domain to Lv.10, so he didn't feel too bad.
He looked around to see if there was any other thing he could take but there was nothing. He turned to walk to the entrance but was surprised to see there was a group of three staring at him with dropped jaws. The three was of course were Sugiyama Kaori, Amano Ena, and light.
They had arrived after he went and burned all the Sleeper-snakes. And due to his domain absorbing the burnt corpses, the cave was empty except for a Sleeper-snake that had been cut in two. The three were currently staring at Set keenly, trying to decern his identity. But because he was wearing his Crimson curse, they couldn't see his face completely and he also had his hair and eye color changed to red, so even if they met Set while he wasn't wearing his face mask they probably wouldn't recognize him.
The young man in front of them had red hair that matched his red eyes, his face was covered by a blood-red crystal face mask, his clothes were all tattered but when you look closely you could see he didn't have any injuries. He was holding an oversized golded sword that was perched atop his shoulder. Even though the Sleeper-snake was highly reliant on its venom... it was by no way weak. And walking away with no injuries was an impressive feat. But no matter how much they wracked their brains they couldn't identify him. So finally Sugiyama Kaori went forward to ask,
"Brother which guild are you from?".
"I'm not in any guild" when Set said that the three were having a hard time believing him. They were sure he was contacted by one or two guilds by now, so why was he denying the truth. Or is that he really was not in any guild? But that didn't matter if he said he wasn't in any guild then they have a chance of sweeping him off his feet.
"My name is Sugiyama Kaori and I'm from the Seven Slash guild. If what you said is true, would you like to join my guild?". Although Sugiyama Kaori was acting friendly, he was already thinking of ways to get his hands on that sword. And the method he had come up with was to use his guild's name as collateral. I mean, no one in their right mind is going to reject an offer from the Seven Slash guild! Seven Slash guild was the third greatest guide only next to the Heavenly Saint guild and Cold Blood guild. But what he wasn't counting on was Set's reply.
"No thanks".
The three were Shocked. This young man just rejected the offer to join the Seven Slash guild, were they hearing it wrong?!?!
"Brother, do you even know of the Seven Slash guild?" asked Sugiyama Kaori with doubt in his voice. Of course Set knew of the Seven Slash guild, but he simply didn't care. Having his question not answered, Sugiyama Kaori was quite irritated but since he hadn't gotten his hands on that sword yet, he wasn't going to mess it up!
Well even if he did, he could just take the sword by force!
"Why don't you think about it and tell me tomorrow? We don't want you to make decisions that you might regret later, right?" said Sugiyama Kaori with a cunning look.
"I'm pretty sure I won't regret it" Set knew that the man in front of him had ulterior motives but the problem was that he didn't know what it was.
"Brother, why don't you think about it?". But before Set could reply, Sugiyama Kaori went on to say "Brother, that is quite a sword you have there, might I have a look at it?"
'This man couldn't be after my sword, right?'
But he didn't have time to replay as he saw the man walking towards him as if he had already agreed.
Observing the actions of the man and minimal changes in his temperament, Set was surprised,
'So he really is after my sword!'.
"Stay back!" said Set with seriousness. Sugiyama Kaori hearing this was a little surprised but he didn't relent and immediately said,
"I am Sugiyama Kaori from the great Sugiyama family. We have lots of resources, we have lots of wealth, name your price and ill but the sword!"
Sugiyama Kaori had a smug look on his face as if simply stating his family's name would get him the sword. He saw the Sleeper-snake on the ground but that didn't phase him, he himself was capable of doing that. Sleeper-snakes were only mid to high-tier Demon beasts, so it was easy to kill them unless they were with their children. Sugiyama Kaori himself was able to do it with only one strike.
But Set was unyielding in his refusal! And with a sly smile, he said,
"Although the Sugiyama family is wealthy, I don't think you have the capital to buy it!" And with that said, Set slowly turned around to leave, with the Titan Blade perched upon his shoulders. But before he could leave, with a sideways slash from Sugiyama Kaori, a deadly attack was sent his way!
