Journey Begins

"Poor guy, I bet the redhead died, why did he even go up against that guy when he was so weak?"

"The City Guard hasn't arrived yet, and the Redhead is already gone."

"If only he was clever and stalled for a time"

But they were all surprised to see a safe and normal Set walking out of the alley.

"What?! Then the scream was from the other guy?"

"How? How is he right now!"

"Where did all his wounds go? Did he heal them?"

"Then... then that means... he's a Dual Ability User!" Set, on the other side, wanted to facepalm. 'GOD DAMNIT! I wanted to leave unnoticed, yet I unintentionally walked out of the alley! 'And so he quickly jumped back into the alley and headed to his home under the cover of the Space Cloak. Since some people filmed the battle between Set and the man and had posted it on the Internet, the battle had gone viral. And the suspension of the Dual Ability User grew.

The Sentinel guards eventually arrived at the battlefield. They were all wearing their Sentinal Guard uniform, which was essentially a set of high-quality armor with the Sentinal City flag on their right shoulder. The team was led by a cold but beautiful woman known as Snow. She had long black hair that reached her waist. Body as smooth as white jade and eyes as precious as jewelry. Upon reaching the headless body, the Sentinal guards placed the dead body in the body bag. After taking testimonies from the crowd as well as a copy of the best video in terms of quality and angle, they left as if nothing had happened.

Snow walked into a room where a man stared at the headless corpse. Seeing Snow enter, the man stood up and said, "Greetings to General Snow!"

Snow nodded to the man telling him to proceed, "Well, as predicted, he was working for the Shadow organization," the man said as he showed Snow a picture of a tattoo. And coincidentally, the tattoo was the same as the flag found in Rage's hiding spot. The tattoo was that of a leafless black tree, with a full moon behind it. Snow, was not happy to hear this, as you could hear her clicking on her tongue.

The man went on to say, "As seen from his body, he died of an intense fire focused on his neck. The fire was so strong that it had melted through his skin and bones. And from the video, we suspect that the man's innate ability had caused an explosive increase in strength! And yet the fire had burned through it all."

Snow was intrigued, "So powerful, and yet they use it for Evil!"

The man hearing this shook his head and said, "We have many reports that this man is a criminal to his bones. As he confronts innocent people and tortures them!"

Snow, hearing this, looked at the man and asked, "Are you suggesting this is all self-defense?"

"While this is a probability, since we don't know what happened, we can't be sure..."

Somewhere in Sentinal City, in an abandoned warehouse.

"You mean that Rage and Muscle are both dead?"

"Yes."

"We've lost two of our promising recruits, just like that. Boss isn't going to like this, you know."

"We don't know how Rage died, but we have footage of Muscle battling a masked man. Maybe we should recruit him as he killed Muscle and is suspected of being a Dual Ability User..."

After Set reached his house, he quickly created a clone, borrowed some cooking utensils, and made his way to the celestial plane. And thanks to his Space Cloak, he slipped in without anyone knowing it. After returning to the celestial plane, he quickly went back to the lake and began hunting Gray Scaled Fish.

And just like that, two weeks have passed. Set was killing Gray Scaled Fish day in and day out, trying to stock up on blood point. But was immediately made aware of a crucial flaw of the blood points. Now you are thinking what the flaw of a healing ability that restores the body no matter how much damage it has received? Well, that was the flaw itself!

Any wound may be healed in return for a blood point. Any wound... No matter how large or small it is. In other words, you could heal a small scratch with a blood point. Knowing Set's conservative nature for blood points, losing one for a mere scratch, was heartbreaking.

While he had accumulated over a hundred and twenty blood points, he did not feel pleased with the figure. So he decided to stay for a week to get more blood points. But that turned out to be a waste of time, as he barely managed to gain twenty blood points that week.

After a little deliberation, Set decided on journeying to the Death Valley to kill some ants. And the good thing about it all was that the Death Valley was full of ants. Making it the perfect place to gather blood points.

While Set had begun his journey, it didn't take long to encounter the first obstacle in the form of bandits. There was only one rule in the celestial plane, and that was the strong prey on the weak. If you didn't have a certain amount of power to defend yourself, you would be subjected to this law. That was the main reason people liked forming hunting parties, the more numbers one had the better.

Set was approached by a group of sixteen, led by an average build man sitting on a great, two-meter-tall wolf. And by the sight of it, the celestial beast was a Saint.

"Hello, sir. Give me all your..." But before he could finish, he realized that Set wasn't carrying anything, not even his wristwatch... But, of course, anyone with common sense would do the same thing. While he was considering flying to the Death Valley and drastically reducing travel time to only one week. Why would he miss a chance to fight bandits or celestial beasts?

"I'm sorry I didn't hear you right, do you want me to give you everything I have?" Set said with a serious look. Amused by the brave traveler's words, the man jumped down from his mount and walked in front of Set, saying, "I was thinking of letting you go, but you seem to be courting death. If you kneel down and plead for mercy, then I may consider giving you a painless death... but if you don't, I will torture you, and I won't stop until you plead for DEATH!"

Set hearing this laughed and thought, 'What the hell, people? Do all the bad guys have the same scriptwriter or something?' Set laughed as though there was no tomorrow. At one point, he collapsed to the ground, cuddling his belly as tears fell from his eyes.

The man seeing Set, out of rage, took a sword out from his waist and chopped Set's head off. But as he turned around to get back to his mount, the faces of his bandit comrades turned pale.

"Thanks for that. I wanted to get blood points, but trying to steal from me wasn't that much of a motivation." But even before the man could decode the hidden meaning, of Set's statement, Set had already taken out his Titan Blade and swung it at his head.
