A man in his early thirties, wearing a black suit, entered an office with a troubled look on his face. He was in charge of researching as well as recovering resources from the celestial plane. Edward had been with his research group in the celestial planes for the past couple of days. But unfortunately, the shelter they were staying at had been a target of a celestial horde attack. They had suffered countless losses even though the shelter was one of the best around. There were several World, even some Sky-class hunters, but the celestial horde had come prepared.

They brought countless cannon fodder, as well as World and Sky-class beasts. The battle lasted for three days with the victory of the human.

After the battle ended, they captured several beasts that were able to understand the human language and interrogated them. But what they found out, sent shivers down their spine.

After entering the room, Edward bowed and said, "Greetings, director Hanako." Inside the office, was a woman in her late twenties. She worked for the government and was in charge of the I.R.G program, which stands for Information and Resource Gathering. Even though she was young for her directorial position, her hard-working nature and commitment landed her the job.

"What's your reason for coming here, Edward?" asked director Hanako.

Edward looked at director Hanako, and with a troubled voice said, "You assigned me to investigate the rise in the Void Portals and the attacks on the shelters."

A Void Portal is a sinkhole that connects to the celestial plane and were the methods used by the celestial beasts to come to Earth. They are natural teleporters. When the Void Portal opens, monsters from the celestial plane are set free upon the world. The number of monsters emerging from the Void Portal depends on the size and power of the natural teleporter. And the only way the Void Portal is destroyed is by destroying every single monster that has come out. Based on the number of beasts a Void Portal can harbor, they were classified into Demon, Saint, World, Sky, and Emporer, which can harbor 700, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 100,000 respectively.

But the main issue with Void portals is their unpredictability of where and when they turn up, and their time limit. Time limits are the defined amount of time permitted by the Void Portals to destroy all the monsters that had appeared and remained constant in all the Void Portals. Based on the number of beasts a Void Portal can harbor, they were classified into Demon, Saint, World, Sky, and Emporer. If one failed to destroy all the monsters in three days, the monsters that the citizens had managed to kill would respawn from the Void Portal, but this time twice in number and alongside a General.

"After the attack on the shelter I was staying at, we managed to catch some beasts who could speak and understand human languages and interrogate them. Most of them didn't crack so we killed them but one did. It took a while and a lot of persuasion, but it cooperated. It told us that the end was near for us humans. But before we could get more details out of it, it turned to dust."

Director Hanako heard this and couldn't help but sighed, "It seemed like we're going to be in crisis soon... "

After a few minutes, Set was still staring at that weapon description with awe the definition of the weapon. With this weapon, he was able not only to destroy Demon beasts, dominate Saint beasts but maybe even kill World-class celestial beasts. And it was also evolvable, meaning there was a pretty decent likelihood that it would reach the level of the Emperor.

After a while of gawking at the brass knuckle, Set couldn't help but get motivated. "I have to make the most of this blessing! I need to learn some boxing and fist techniques." After Set put his motivation, he summoned the King Raven and flew to the top of the mountain. After all, Set wasn't going to leave a treasure behind.

Set wanted to land, but the lava would corrode the King Raven, so he remained on its back. As Set looked around, he was assaulted by the green toxic waste of the Mutated King Raven. But this time, due to the Crimson Curse, Set was fine. He looked at the green fog with bliss, but he still had no idea how to execute his plan. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes.
