"Hey, Can you come with me?"

"Where?" Blake asked back while he was busy typing on his phone.

"Slate," I answered. He looked at me with wide eyes.

"Am I even allowed there?" Both of us laughed.

"Of course," I rolled my eyes.

"That place is for 21 years old and above, I think. So, you can come because you just turned 21." I explained.

"Okay, Is Hendrixx coming with us?" He asked, and I shook my head.

"Why? Where did he go?"

"He went with his friends and will come back tomorrow," I said, and he nodded.

"Let's get ready. We need to leave in an hour," I said and went to my room.

I just took a shower and immediately went to my luggage to find an outfit.

I wore my White Dior Cropped Jeans and my Sleeveless Sweater, which I bought before our trip.

And I paired it with sneakers from the same brand.

After dressing up, I quickly did my hair and make-up. I just did a simple make-up look and curled my hair.

I used my new Lady D-Joy Bag in white that I also bought before this trip. I sprayed my favorite perfume all over my body and grabbed my gift for Miguel.

"What's with the paper bag?" Blake asked when I went outside.

"It's a present. Let's go," I said.

We went out to our hotel room and booked a grab so we could arrive faster.

When we got in the car, Blake tapped my shoulder.

"Why didn't you tell me we're going on a birthday?!"

"Because you didn't ask!?" I answered, and he rolled his eyes, made me laugh

I messaged Miguel that we were already on our way.

He replied immediately.

I already saw him typing a reply.

Okay. Just call me, and I'll answer.

I just reacted heart to his message and closed my phone. I looked outside the window. I saw multiple establishments, and they're all beautiful.

It's not my first time going here, but every time I come back, It still feels new to me. This place never disappoints me.

We arrived just in time. I called Miguel to tell him that we were already outside.

"Hello?"

"Hi, we're already here outside," I said and looked around the place.

"Okay. Wait for me," He ended the call.

I turned to Blake, and he was on his phone again.

"Hey," I called him.

"Yeah?" He answered casually.

"Are you ready to party?" I said, and we both laughed.

"Hell yeah," He answered, and we laughed again.

"By the way, I asked my friends to come here," He said. I nodded.

"You have friends that live here? That's nice."

"Yeah. I met them a few years ago when I got here for a vacation,"

"Elleiana?" I heard Miguel's voice.

His calming voice...

I faced him and smiled.

"Hey! Happy Birthday!" I greeted and hugged him.

He hugged me back and chuckled. "Thank you!"

"Ah, by the way, this is Blake, my Uhm... friend.." I said and looked at Blake. I saw him holding back his laugh.

"And this is Miguel, the birthday boy, my classmate, and new BFF!" I said, and the three of us laughed.

"Let's go inside?" Miguel asked. We both nodded.

When we got inside, I was so amazed! It is beautiful! I'd say that this is the newest bar I love!

I saw an arcade and a giant slide! So cool!

I'm guessing that we were entering the VIP Room because it has so many couches, and it's more chill here. The music isn't too loud.

They also have a dance floor where everyone can dance and party.

When we entered the room, I saw Miguel's family. They were busy talking. They just smiled and waved at me. Blake and I did the same.

We just sat at the other table because Miguel's Family already occupied two tables, and he said they rented the whole room.

"Hey, what do you want to order?" Miguel asked.

"I'll have the Brit and Berries," I answered. He nodded.

I turned to Blake.

"What about you? What do you want?" I asked.

"I'm good," He answered casually.

"How about him? Does he want anything?" Miguel asked again.

"He said he's good. His friends are coming here so he'll leave in a while," He nodded.

I was scrolling on my phone when Blake suddenly tapped my shoulders.

"What?"

"They're already here," He answered.

"Oh, where exactly?" I raised my brows.

"The arcade area, I need to leave," He answered and stood up.

I stood up too. Miguel looked at us.

"You guys are already leaving? The drinks haven't arrived-" I cut him off.

"Chill, he's the only one leaving. His friends are already there in the arcade area," I chuckled.

"Oh. So you're staying?" He asked and I smiled.

"Duh? Of course!" I answered. He smiled back and looked at Blake.

"Have fun! You can go back here if you want to,"

Blake smiled.

"I will! Happy Birthday again!" He said and tapped his shoulder.

Our order already came. So we started drinking and eating because he also ordered food.

"Here, try this," He said and gave me a slice of pizza.

"It's so good!" I smiled.

He chuckled.

"Do you have siblings?" He suddenly asked.

"Yeah. I have an older brother,"

"Oh, I think I can introduce him to my sister. I want her out of the house," We both laughed.

"I think he's not yet ready to have a girlfriend again," I said and sipped on my drink.

"Can I ask why?" He said softly.

I leaned back.

"He proposed to his ex, but she just cried and ran away while my brother is still kneeling, waiting for her answer," I said and wiped a tear.

"I wasn't there when the proposal happened because I'm here in New York. I'm on vacation. Because I thought that the proposal would be held when I got back home,"

When I looked at him, he was very solemn.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked.

He faced me. "May I ask his girlfriend's name?"

I was suddenly stunned.

"Her name is Felice," I answered.

We were silent for a moment.

"Have you forgiven her? you know she's my sister, right?" He asked and looked at me.

"Of course. Nothing will happen If I get mad until now. I'm sure my brother has already moved on. So we're all good," I chuckled.

He smiled at me widely.
