Chapter 16

"What!" Easton exclaimed after the hole tearing look began to annoy him as he set on the cashier seat. John had not been feeling well so Easton took his shift for him.

"Nothing" was all I said as I turned my focus to organising the different types of food on the shelf.

"It's clearly something since you've been looking at me since you've arrived" Easton's lips twitched as he said that his hands gripping the book he had been reading.

Sending him a glance I finally answered "It's just that you're reading a biology book when you do business... I'm wondering if it's one of those cliches when you try to please your parents when you have a passion for something else" I said sending a few pity filled glances at him.

All Easton could see was an idiot who thought that he had caught in some drama "And what if what you said is true it's none of your business" Easton returned back to his biology book he was just about to learn about how some people die a slow yet painful death.

Returning back to work I suddenly shivered as if someone had placed a bite on me rubbing my back my eyes peeked back at him "I'm just saying I could be wrong or I could be right but your dreams seem to be passing by you." I said adding a tone of worry for dreams distancing themselves away from him.

He just stared at me as his left eye began to twitch his hands nearly tearing the book. A smug look made its way to my face only to disappear just as quickly.

Fully turning to him I pretended to assess him in worry"Easton are you okay...you don't look so well your face is a bit...red" my eyes widened lowering my voice I added "Are you constipated, hurry and go to the bathroom we..." my voice trailed of as Easton stumped of the market in anger.

A burst of laughter immediately left my lips after. By now I was holding my stomach as I watched him.

"Damn I needed that..." I sighed as I went back to work. It looked like I'd also have to work as a cashier for today as well. There wasn't a problem since Easton roughly taught me how to work with it.

After what had happened today I needed to cool down and what way other then attacking fire ant Easton. When Zaden told me he was quick to anger I didn't believe him...until now.

Remembering what happened today really annoyed me. The intercom had called for all art/drama club members after school and since I start work at 16:00 I had enough time on my hands. Plus I would be seeing my beloved Noa once more or so I thought.

She had apparently returned home followed by Brianna.

As soon as I entered the theatre room I was met with a loud voice, commanding people around and the students following the voice's orders.

It was Belinda, fuck. I had forgotten about her.

Before I could run away her eyes had already landed on me "My camera boy is here, good now we can finally get started" she said in a domineering tone her hair this time wavy as she threw it over her shoulder.

Breathing in and out I took the camera equipment and began working.

What might that work be, well it was taking pictures of Belinda. My eyes needed to be bleached and then cleansed after this.

"Be-Wren why am I still taking pictures haven't I taken enough already" I grumbled out as my hands began twitching in tiredness.

Sending me a quick glance as she continued on reading through her script she replied "Poor and lazy a bad combination*tch*" she turned to one of her minion's before adding"Take over the job" she ordered before going to the stage.

Gaining the attention of all. A sweet smile appeared on her face, it was honestly not that bad but she had to open her damn mouth "We will be having our first play this year. A retelling of Princess Beatrice from [Iron Throne] by Rebecca Yen" taking a dramatic pause she continued " And I as your star will be the main lead [Dell] any problems no then good the rest of you can have the minor roles" she said arrogantly as one of her minion's helped her off the stage.

Rolling my eyes I couldn't help but ask "What about the others who want to play [Dell]?" I asked and my question must have sounded odd as all eyes where on me.

Shrugging my shoulders I replied "What? it was a genuine question."

"What did you say peasant?" raising an annoyed eyebrow Belinda turned to me.

"It means that there are others who could want to try out before their dismissed" I rolled my eyes.

"You're saying it as if there is someone better then me, I who is superior" she added a dark laugh at the end causing others and myself to take a step back.

Don't tell me she has a superiority complex. One of the students sent me a look saying I should shut the hell up but it was already too late the words had already left my lips.

"I mean you're the one who said it not me" and before I knew it a chair was lunged at me which I fortunately dodged. I watched as it slowly broke into pieces. My eyes widened as they turned to a now seething Belinda.

Fuck

I should really learn to keep my mouth shut.

The students where slowly but silently moving away from me hell even I wanted to be away from me.

"Wren-"

"You were saying" she sneered as a dark look took over her face my throat bobbed, my hands gripping my flesh as I tried to stop them from shaking.

"I-I apologize" I bowed my head repeatedly.

"...Out" she said after what felt like years of silence and suffocation. I turned to her as she strutted her way to her makeup table.

"What"

"You don't want me to repeat myself" her eyes still on the mirror.

So I was not only kicked out of the drama club but I would never be able to spend more time with Noa. Should have just kept my mouth shut.

"Ring" turning to the customer that entered I greeted them with a smile.

Let's just get back to work.
