Everything is blur. I can feel pain in my head like someone is stabbing me continuously.
I can hear someone but not clearly...
" Doctor! He is regaining his conscious".
What's happening? Where am I?
" He is totally fine now! Let him rest for few hours."
I can hear foot steps fade as I close my eyes.
AFTER 2 DAYS
The sun is bright!
It shines so brightly, I covered my eyes with my hand. I want water, but I can't reach out.

My mother woke up with a shock. At the very second she screamed at me.
" Can't you tell me if you want anything?"
She came hugged me and cried loudly.
" I told you to be careful where ever you go".
She cried.
My brother said, " mom, don't cry now. We must thank God for he is alive now."
" yeah yeah, now that Iam here I won't make you die peacefully" I said
We laughed. My mom said she will tell father about this and left the room. I sat comfortably and asked my brother.
" Ajay, what's the date today?"
" 1." he said
" It has been 10 days huh"
" No it's 1st of July. It has been 1month since you are in bed".
I was shocked
"amm... Where is she?"
" who?"
" Maha... She was with me that day. Is she fine?"
He hesitated a moment

"AJAY". My mom shouted when she entered our room again.
She held my brother's hand tightly.
" she... She is fine son! Don't worry".
I sighed a relief.
" Where is she? Is she injured? Can I go and see her now? I have to see he..."
" Shut up son. Now look at your condition. I told you she is fine. Just sleep for now. Ajay come with me". She dragged him out
After 3 days I was discharged. They invited me grandly. Everyone enjoyed my return in my home as I have a big family.
It was so good. After the accident all took care of me so well, Between they would always take care of me like this.. Even before the accident.
Days passed. And it was the same when I asked about Maha, all in my house would find some reason to change the topic.
I tried to contact her but it was always unreachable.
My mom would always say that she is fine. And she also said maha's parents were angry becoz of the accident that's why they didn't allow her to come here.
It was a fine night.
We all planned to play cards.
" Mom! You lost again."
" Get lost, iam not going to play. You guys are cheating". She messed the cards
" mom, why did you do like this". Ajay shouted becoz he was about to win.
We all laughed..... And suddenly we heard some noise outside. My brother said he will go see what happened.
We continued playing. After few seconds my father went out. We were still playing.

"what's happening. Let me go see". I was about to stand up when my mom made me sit again
" you don't have to go. I'll go see. Continue with your game" she said
After few seconds we heard crying sound.
So I went out. It was maha's mother and her uncle
Her mother was crying, flower jar was broken.
Her uncle was shouting at my father.
" what is happening aunty? Why are you crying. Frist come inside." I said
" why did you come out? Go in", my mom forced me to go
" Now you all are happy right! You are even playing cards inside. I heard you all were laughing". Maha's mother cried
Her uncle came to beat me when my brother caught him. I was shocked.
Within a second.

Her mother slapped me. I was even more shocked.
She started to beat me and cried even more loudly.
" You said you love her. You said you'll be with her. But now she is dead and you are playing cards".
She cried. My mind was blank
" Wha... What did... Did you". I wasn't able to utter a word.
Maha's uncle shouted.
" WHY ARE YOU ACTING NOW. SHE DIED BECAUSE OF YOU AND YOU..... I TOLD HER NOT TO DATE YOU".
I was motionless...
" Mom! What are they telling?"
Her mother cried loudly....
" You... You bastard.... You killed her".
My mind was blank.... The only thing which was repeating in my mind was
SHE IS DEAD. SHE DIED. YOU KILLED HER.
