11 First Day / New Magic
Outside of the classroom that they would be in for their lessons, the top eleven students from the entrance exams stood.

Once they were allowed into the classroom and took their seats, the class teacher stood behind his desk at the front of the room, "Congratulations on passing the exam. I'm the teacher in charge of your class, Alfred Marcus. I'm an ex-magic army soldier, let's get along. There aren't any lessons today, so you are free to tour the campus and interact with other students. There will be an orientation tomorrow morning, and practical skill training in the afternoon. That's it, you're free to go."
Once he had finished speaking, Maria called Shin out of the class to ask him for help with Kurt. Lucian was not too interested in Kurt before he becomes a Demon later on, as he did not care too much about his stalking problem which could easily be solved by Shin. He did, however, want to fight Kurt in his Demonised state, to see how he compared to a regular human, despite not being a very strong demon.
As this was the case, Lucian did not bother watching what was happening, instead he had a different idea. As there was no need for the students to be in the school, Lucian created a gate beneath himself which he immediately slipped through before finding himself in his desired location.
It was similar to the forest he had been raised in, except it was in the centre of a desert. This piece of land was in the largest desert in the world and the forest was full of trees, which meant there was no civilisation nearby. There were, however, a lot of monsters in the desert and forest. It was the most densely populated area of monsters in that had been recorded throughout history.
This would not put a dent in his plan though, as the monsters would actually enhance it. He went to the very centre of the forest and found the largest tree there was. As soon as he found it, Lucian started to create a new magic combination.
He mixed holy and life magic together in great quantities with a very pure concentration of both. This led to a mass of golden and green magic swirling around one another and intertwining. He started to constantly shoot this magic combination at the tree.
This caused immediate growth within the tree, as the entire tree started to get taller and thicker. His aim was to create a world tree with the holy and life magic as the life magic would increase the growth of the tree exponentially, and the holy magic would purify. However, this was not his main purpose of using Holy Magic, as every being in the world had some form of holy magic inside of them, it could range from a minuscule amount to a massive amount. This did not matter though, as the very existence of it inside of each being was what he was aiming for.
Once the tree had grown so large that it penetrated the clouds and did not show any signs of stopping, Lucian felt that it was large enough, especially considering the part that mattered had become long enough. He had put a lot of life and holy magic into the roots of the tree, which caused them to span around the entirety of the globe.
His two goals in doing this were simple, the first was to see if the immense amount of holy magic radiating from the tree would purify the monsters surrounding it and potentially even cause them to become holy monsters instead of demonic ones. This was not his main goal though, as he was really aiming to create a form of appraisal magic.
As holy magic would now be underneath the Earth in every location possible and it was caused by Lucian, he assumed that everyone around him would have their holy magic resonate with his which was in the air constantly. Due to the resonation of the holy magic, Lucian believed that he would be able to use the holy magic coming off of the target to tap into their physical and magical information which over time had gradually linked with their own holy magic without them even knowing. This would not allow him to find out people's names or personal life, but he would be able to get a feel for someone or something's physical power and magical power levels.
For his first experiment, he would have to come back regularly to check how the monsters were doing while being surrounded by holy magic as it was the highest concentration around the forest and desert. However, he could test his second theory straight away if he was around people.
Lucian opened another gate back to his original location and found the classroom empty which was not surprising to him. He left the room and started walking through the halls, there were an abundance of students in the hall, and Lucian could feel information from the people he tried to tap into with his holy magic combined that had combined with the targets.
This information was translated from the data-like holy energy, into words and numbers in his head. A student was sat down and was not moving, so Lucian sat on a table nearby him and used his new magic.
In his head some information was displayed.

This student was in one of the lower classes, so he did not have a high physical or magical power level, but after viewing the 'status' like information of a lot of students, he gathered the average information for what he assumed to eb the entire school, excluding anomalies like himself and Shin.
The average physical power level was around 14 for the students, but they were magic students which meant that this could be higher across other areas, and the average magical power level was 190.
Lucian did not find either of these power levels even remotely strong, and he decided to see the stats of some people in S class and Shin's stats.
Once he found them, it seemed the business with Kurt was over with, as Shin, Maria, Sicily, August, Thor, and Julius were talking to one another.
Before approaching them, Lucian took in the information of each of them.
August's information looked like this:

This was much higher than the other students, and Lucian assumed this was because of his Royal upbringing and training.

Shin's magical power was leaps and bounds above the others, as well as his physical ability being much higher as well. After checking the other's information, Lucian thought to himself, 'If I can check their information by their holy magic leaking out and joining with mine, surely I should be able to check my own information with my leaking holy magic converging with my holy magic in the air.'
Lucian focused on his own holy magic in the air, and the holy magic coming from his body, and surprisingly it worked.

Lucian looked over his information with a feeling of great joy, 'I really am the best, this world is basically my playground at this point."
Lucian then felt content with his new type of magic, and walked towards the group who were having a conversation about everyone going to Shin and Lucian's house. Without them noticing his presence, Lucian joined the conversation, "I think it's a good idea for us to all go back to ours."
Everyone was surprised to hear his voice, as he had disappeared previously, but they were also happy to hear that he thought it was a good idea. Lucian wanted to get home quickly as well, as he wanted to view Merlin and Melinda's information.
