31 BSWS CH-31 Powering up for The Chunin Exams Part-2

First among the three Fuinjutsu techniques, which she used as base for her Battle Style Fuinjutsu, was Multiple String Light Formation. It was a Basic Fuinjutsu based formation technique that can even be used by Genin.

By placing the strings made of chakra on the ground in a formation and having multiple control it, even Jonin or Kage level shinobi could be trapped or restrained, at the minimum level be slowed greatly.

This was the foundation Sakura selected for doing Fuinjutsu in battle, as it would allow her to make Fuinjutsu formations by simply using Chakra Strings instead of ink and paper.

Second was Chakra Draining Seal. It was a slightly advanced Fuinjutsu that can drain the chakra from targets placed within it. Sakura modified it a bit so that within the formation she creates, so one except her will be able to use Ninjutsu. The Ninjutsu formed will have its chakra dissipate into the surroundings harmlessly.

Finally, the third was a very high level Fuinjutsu technique based on Innate ability of Uzumaki Bloodline. Uzumaki had innate ability to release Solidified Chakra Chains from their body infused with Sealing Power.

It was a Pseudo Kekkei Genkai limited to Uzumaki Clan. Based on it, A Fuinjutsu Technique called Beast Sealing Technique was created. After creating the necessary Fuinjutsu seals, the seal formula rises up in the form of multiple chakra chains and binds the target the formation is directed at. Its power was only one grade below the Actual Uzumaki Adamantine Sealing Chains themselves.

By combining knowledge of these three Fuinjutsu techniques, Sakura created the prototype of her Battle Style Fuinjutsu. These would contain techniques to restrain and suppress even a Jinchuriki level combatant. She would even be able to dissipate their major advantage, their Ninjutsus fueled with the large amount of chakra.

Of course there were weakness to the Battle Style Fuinjutsu. A high level Taijutsu specialist could blow past her sealing before the formation can completely restrain them.

A Genjutsu Specialist or a Body Strengthening type Shinobi, who uses chakra only internally, could also ignore most of the effects of this prototype of Battle Style Fuinjutsu.

And last but not the least, there was a chance that someone like Naruto could simply overload the Fuinjutsu with more chakra than it can handle.

But Sakura still believed Battle Style Fuinjutsu to be a viable battle technique. She would keep experimenting and adding to the technique to perfect it more in future by acquiring more knowledge of Fuinjutsu.

But for now, she would just use her current prototype for Battle Style Fuinjutsu along with Her Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Other mastered fighting techniques to do well in the Chunin Exams and the challenges within it.

All she needed now was a few days of intense practice to master her new Fuinjutsu abilities.

Five Days later, Day of the Chunin Exams.

"Hey guys!!" Sakura opened her eyes from her meditation pose and saw Naruto join her and Sasuke. It seems that he was also taking a leaf from Kakashi's book as he had started to get late nowadays.

On the bright side though, it seems that becoming associated with Hinata had brought some positive changes in him. He had begun taking better care of his Hygiene and he had finally abandoned his hideous orange jumpsuit and had totally adopted the outfit Sakura had helped him buy.

The black color of his outfit complimented his blond hair very nicely, while his orange inner vest satisfied Naruto's need for orange color. Meanwhile, Sakura and Sasuke didn't do any outfit changes, but then again, their outfits were leagues better compared to the Orange Jumpsuit Naruto had.

They made their way towards the academy, discussing various training they had done to prepare for the Chunin Exams. They observed various Genin squads on their way, who were all making their way to the academy too.

On their way to the exam hall, they saw a whole crowd of people gathering for some reason on the second floor. Naruto and Sasuke got irritated as they were blocking the way.

"Oh come on, why are they all jamming up like that?" Naruto asked.

"Why is that any of our concern Naruto? Lets just go past them.." Sakura said as she started walking on the ceiling to get past the crowd. Sasuke and Naruto followed her to the ceiling too, grabbing the attention of majority of the crowd.

While on the ceiling, Sakura noticed the iconic leaf trio who were one of Team 7's biggest competitors in the exam, Team Guy. She remembered this scene where two Leaf Chunin, disguised as Genin, were acting as hurdles for all the Genin by distracting them with Genjutsu and their bullying.

They had disguised the floor with Genjutsu to make it seem like this was the floor of exams and were stopping from weaker students to be able to get to the exam venue itself.

Lee, Tenten and Neji were pretending to be bullied to hide their ability. As Lee got punched to the ground, his gaze went to Sakura who was standing upside down on the ceiling.

"Hmph, go and train some more you weakling!!" one of the Disguised Chunin tried to kick Lee's head when he saw that he was distracted in the midst of their fight, despite being a weak Genin.

However, Lee reflexively caught the kick in a vice grip with his palm reflexively, despite his eyes being fixed on Sakura right now. He threw the Disguised Chunin away with a simple wave of his hand, without giving him a single glance.

"Hey Lee!! Why did you go off the plan? Didn't we decide to hide our prowess?" Tenten said angrily to Lee before following his gaze. When she saw Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke, she understood what had made Lee derail from the plan.

'Oh damn it Lee… Here we go..' Tenten thought as Lee got up with passion overflowing from his eyes.

Meanwhile, as Lee defeated one of the Chunin, Neji decided to stop holding back too. He swiftly flashed behind the other Chunin and knocked him out with a few strikes to pressure points on the neck.

With the fall of both the Chunin, the Genjutsu was dispelled and the weaker people finally recognized that they were standing and arguing on the wrong floor. They swiftly rushed to the upper floor where the actual exam was supposed to take place.

Meanwhile, Lee had come in front of Team 7 blocking their way forward. However, it was not with malicious reasons.

Lee came and stood in front of Sakura "Hello there. I am Rock Lee. You are Sakura right? Please be my girlfriend!! I vow to protect you with my life!!" Lee said while trying out the most handsome pose he knew: Might Guy's one-eyed wink and teeth glinting pose with his thumb raised.

Sakura smiled at this innocent and pure-hearted Rock Lee. While original Sakura would of course have gone for looks, She knew the good person Lee was and she didn't insult him on his face.

"Hi Lee. While I am flattered by your proposal, I have currently no intentions to pursue a romantic relationship with anyone. However, if you like, we can be friends and help each other be better Shinobi?" Sakura said while extending her hand to him.

"Of course!! I would like that very much!!" Lee said as he happily shook Sakura's hand.

Meanwhile, Neji and Sasuke had sparks clashing between them as the two rival Dojutsu clan members. Naruto in the meantime was approached by Tenten, who was interested in the newly transformed handsome visage of Naruto.

After initial pleasantries, or argument for a certain pair, the two squads made their way to the exam location.
