118 Threat!

In a dimly lit room illuminated only by candles, Eiji was surrounded by six individuals whose bodies were hidden behind the door.

These six individuals were the higher-ups of the Jujutsu World!

"Kamiki Eiji, do you know your mistake?"

The dignified voice of an old man echoed behind the door in front of Eiji. His tone was very unfriendly.

"Mistake? I don't know." Eiji replied.

Facing the higher-ups, he showed no inferiority, maintaining an indifferent attitude.

"Don't pretend! We know what happened at Satozakura High School today. Still want to deny it?"

This time, an angry old woman's voice was heard from behind.

"Oh, about that. It's just a trivial matter. If there's nothing else, I'll leave." Eiji said, turning to leave.

His disdainful attitude certainly provoked the anger of all the present higher-ups.

"Impudent!"

"You insolent brat!"

"This matter is not over, don't leave!"

"Your attitude is as arrogant as Gojo Satoru's."

"How dare you! Is the Gojo Family planning a rebellion?!"

Eiji's steps halted, and he turned around, able to clearly see the displeasure on the faces of the higher-ups. Even if the door had been enchanted to obstruct perception, it was useless in front of the Six Eyes.

"Fine, I'll listen to what you elderly folks, who are one inch close to the ground, have to say."

"Watch your words, Kamiki Eiji!" One of the higher-ups admonished.

"Kamiki Eiji, did you set up the Curtain at Satozakura High School today to trap a group of students?"

This was a voice Eiji recognized, the Principal of Kyoto Jujutsu High School, Gakuganji Yoshinobu.

"Yes, I did." Eiji admitted easily.

"Good, good, good. Not only did you fail to capture the criminal, Geto Suguru, when you encountered him, but you also collaborated with him to kill a group of innocent high school students. Kamiki Eiji, what's your defense?"

This was a higher-up from the Kamo Family.

The higher-ups at Jujutsu Headquarters consisted of conservative and orthodox factions.

The conservative faction had the majority influence at Jujutsu Headquarters, largely supported by the Kamo Family.

It should be noted that the conservative faction often clashed with the world's strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, Gojo Satoru, due to differences in views and ideology.

As Gojo Satoru's cousin and the bearer of the Six Eyes, Kamiki Eiji naturally garnered negative impressions from most of the higher-ups. Moreover, his unpredictable and rule-breaking behavior, like his cousin's, made him even more disliked by the higher-ups.

"Self-defense? None." Eiji calmly replied.

"If that's the case—"

One of the higher-ups was pleased by the lack of defense from the other party, but his words were interrupted.

"But... innocent? What an incredible joke. You should have investigated them, right? They don't deserve to be categorized as innocent; they're just trash who dare to oppress the weak and fear the strong. Just like you elders who dare not show your true appearance."

Eiji's words mocked and provoked the higher-ups.

"Damn it! Kamiki Eiji, don't push it too far! Do you really think you're untouchable?"

The hot-tempered woman among the higher-ups couldn't contain her anger, slamming the table hard and pointing at Eiji with a trembling hand.

Not only her, but the expressions of the other higher-ups also turned ugly after being mocked by the youth they previously thought easy to manipulate due to lack of life experience.

"Yes, I think so. Do you dare to punish me? Ignoring whether my cousin will intervene in this matter or not, is there any among you who can confront me?"

After saying that, Eiji deliberately took off his glasses, revealing the Six Eyes with dark blue irises like the blue sky.

In the dimly lit room, the Six Eyes emitted an intimidating light that silenced the higher-ups, rendering them unable to speak.

"You old fools have made Geto Suguru, a Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer, your enemy. You don't want to make another Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer your enemy, do you?"

"By the way, I won't be as lenient as Satoru Nii-san. In my opinion, it's better for the higher-ups to be filled with young people who are open-minded and can adapt to the changing times rather than old-fashioned people who reject progress."

Threat!

Eiji openly threatened everyone present.

They could even see that his hands had formed seals to create a Curtain at any time to prevent them from escaping.

The atmosphere was very tense; the higher-ups dared not speak rashly. After all, they dared not gamble on whether Eiji was truly bold or just bluffing.

Although they often confronted Gojo Satoru due to differences in opinions, whatever the outcome, the other party mostly just threatened them. But Kamiki Eiji was different; he always remained expressionless, making it difficult for the higher-ups to determine his stance.

"You win, Kamiki Eiji. We won't bring up this matter again."

Under the pressure of the Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer, one of the higher-ups surrendered, while the others did not object.

In the face of life and death, they chose to compromise, no matter how reluctant they were.

Even if they combined their strength and worked together to confront Eiji, they were not confident of victory. Instead, they were certain they couldn't penetrate Infinity.

As the higher-ups of Jujutsu Headquarters, they knew how difficult it was to break Infinity without a Domain Expansion with a guaranteed-hit effect.

"It's a pity. If you had been more stubborn, the jujutsu world would have been better led by young people."

Lowering his hand, Eiji looked disappointed, but his indifferent expression didn't match his words.

The faces of the higher-ups wrinkled upon hearing this; it took a lot of effort to prevent their anger from erupting, lest others exploit their anger as a reason to kill them.

"You may leave." Principal Gakuganji said hoarsely.

"Oh."

Eiji didn't want to linger here; he hurriedly left the room.

After a few seconds of leaving, he could hear voices from inside the room. Nonetheless, his physical constitution was extraordinary thanks to Heavenly Restriction.

"Indeed, the higher-ups are nothing more than a bunch of cowardly old fools."

Watching the sunset outside the building, Eiji walked, recalling his interactions with the higher-ups.

For him, violence might not be the solution to all problems, but it could solve most of them. His methods had proven effective; he hadn't received any punishment despite killing civilians.

"Even without me taking action, they would still be killed by Kenjaku."

Thinking about the deaths of the higher-ups in the future, Eiji felt no sympathy or intention to prevent the situation from happening.

Just like his cousin, his impression of the higher-ups was so negative that it bordered on hostility.

"Hmmm... I'll go home later; besides, no one is waiting for my return."

Descending the hill, Eiji decided to wander around the city.
