Chapter 2: Returning Memories

I heard someone come in my room and saw it was my older sister and younger brother. "Hmm. What are you two doing here?" "We came to see how you were doing. How are you?" "I guess I'm fine. My head still hurts a little bit. Other than that just tired. I actually thought returning home was a dream. Then you two came in and I knew it wasn't." I sat up and my sister helped me. "There you go." "Thanks sis. How is Lycan doing?" "Oh he's fine. Talking to mom and dad about the situation." "Oh I see. That's good. I can probably tell that our parents are my blood ones right?" "Yes you were the one after me then our little brother. Mom brought over Lycan before I was born. I remember playing with him when I was little." "Oh is that so?" "Yeah." "You ready to go out and get some fresh air?" "Yeah I think some fresh air will do me some good. Can I take Shimmer out for a walk? I want to ride him." "Yes of course I am sure he will be delighted. Do you two mind if I go alone?" "I don't think anyone would allow it but you can try." "Thanks guys." So I went to the stables.

While I was at the stables I saw my older brother Lycan. "Oh Hi Lycan I'm going to ride Shimmer around and can I go alone please?" "No of course not. We just got you back and we don't know what will happen. I will go with you but if you want some alone time I will keep my distance." "Ok fair enough. Come on Shimmer." "Oh princess where are we riding too?" "Just around. I want to go into the forest." "Oh that's right you haven't been there in awhile have you?" "Not since I got back." "I'm sure the animals would love to see you." "Yeah I want to see them too."

"Ok brother lets go. I'm ready." "Ok coming sis." "Oh so you chose the light blue dress. Somehow I knew you would." "Hehe yeah I like blue and purple. I'm going into the forest to see my animal friends." "Oh ok. I know what forest you mean. Lets go." So I followed him in.

Once we got to the entrance, Lycan let me go in. "Hello anyone home. Its me. Princess Talia. I'm back." "Is it really you princess?" said a squirrel and climbed on her. "Hehe that tickles." "Its her. Everyone its really her she's back." Then everyone came out and surrounded her. "Yes I'm back. I'm sorry to worry you all. My memory is kind of fuzzy so I need you all to help me remember stuff. If I have a headache it means I'm remembering so don't worry ok?" "It would be our pleasure princess." "What do you want to know?" said a bunny. "Well everything. I only know my parents and siblings my name age and of course Elsa other than that nothing." "Oh so pretty much nothing." Said a deer. "Yes we can help you come with us." Said a forest elf. "An Elf I thought they were fairy tales." "Hehe its ok everyone does. Its been two years and don't have your memories we can help you." As she was pulling me I stopped.

"Wait a minute Elf girl." "What is it?" "This place. I think this is where I….Ow. My head. Lycan help me." Lycan came running over to me. "You ok Talia?" "My head. For some reason this part of the forest is bringing back some memories." "It should don't worry once your headache is gone you should know why. Also you will probably remember what happened." "Wait I think I'm….I'm ok now." "Are you sure?" "Yeah I think so." "OK good." "I remember your name now. Elf girl. Its Fawn. This part of the forest is where. No so its true. I had a bad feeling it was true. Brother I don't know what to do now. Master is gone because of me. I think that is why I was kidnapped. They killed master and grabbed me from my room and took me somewhere. I ended up in the forest where the Evans found me because I fell off a horse and no one noticed. Its weird cause it seems to me like there was more to it than just falling off the horse." "Its ok sis. Its going to be ok. I promise." He hugged me and I hugged him back. "Wait that reminds me. I have to go back to the Evans. I forgot to tell them something. What did mom and dad say about you visiting them?" "That its ok as long as I only stayed a week if I wanted." "Ok good. We need to leave Asap. I know why I was in that forest now. I had to tell the Evan's something and I was attacked before I was able to give it to them." "Ok lets go tell mom and dad then we will leave ok?" "Wait we can take Elsa. She cuts our days in half." "OK we can do that." So we headed back home.

"Mom! Dad!" "What is it son?" "Well looks like I have to leave sooner than later to see them." Said Lycan. "Yes father. I'm sorry to take him with me. I have some business with them I remembered. That is how I ended up there I was attacked and after I gave the message I was to return home." "I see then go as quick as you can and get back to us ok?" "Yes father thank you. Bye mother I'll miss you all." So I whistled for Elsa and she came flying. "Where are we going Talia?" "We are going back to the Evans." "So you remembered?" "Yes Lycan is coming with us." "OK hop on." We both got on and off we flew.

We finally made it to the village. "So this is where I was born." "Ok lets go to the Evans house." So we walked and finally found it. They were inside eating lunch. Ok hide somewhere and I will whistle for you ok?" "Sure." (Knock Knock) I heard someone come to the door and saw Mrs. Evans. "Hi mom. Oh come on in. isn't this a surprise." "Well actually about surprises I have 2. Let me get the first one first. Mom everyone come outside." They all went outside and waited. Then I whistled for him. "Ok I'm coming." I saw mom have a wide mouth. "Lycan is that you?" "Yes I am Lycan. I still have your letter. When I saw you I was going to thank you. I wanted to thank you for telling me you loved me and giving birth. You did the right thing." I saw Lycan give her a hug. "I'm so sorry Lycan. I wish I didn't have to give you up." "I know mom you did what was best for me thank you. Also Talia told me about dad I'm sorry mom." "No its ok. Your father wanted me to tell you something If I ever saw you again. He told me to tell you he was proud of you. That he loved you. I am as well and I still love you." "thank you. Are these my siblings?" "Oh yes. Ok kids introduce yourselves." "My name is Jay I'm the oldest. I'm 4 years younger than you." Said Jay. I'm Zee 1 year younger than him." Said Zee "I'm Yahiko her younger twin." I see nice to meet you all. I hope I Can hang out with you all like siblings." "Yes of course big brother." Said Keyon blushing. "Oh before anyone does anything the real reason I had come here. Yes I remembered quite a bit. I was attacked trying to get your family this message that is why you found me in the forest. I still have the paper. I found it in my diary. Here take the letter and open it. Mom." "Ok sure." She took the note from me and read it.

The letter said:

My dearest sister Azura. If you are reading this its most likely I am on the verge of death or I am already dead. I'm sorry. We both knew this day would come. I Really hoped to see that son of yours Lycan one day but looks like it might not happen. Well keep your kids close. I don't know who or what will be after you but there are people coming for the rest of the Evans family so get out of the village if you can. Please be safe. I have to go so remember this sister. I love you and proud of you. I know our parents would be too.

"No. uncle Luke is dead?" "Wait it said he could be on the verge. Where is the last place he said he was? Did he say where he was?" "He just said somewhere in the mountains. Why?" "Ok what was his job?" "He was just a black smith." "Ok then he shouldn't be dead yet. I think I might know where he is. Sister ask and see if Elsa brought a friend with her or not." "Sure." So I ran out and asked Elsa. "She didn't but she has another snowbird friend that lives near here she said she would help." "Good we need her. Tell Elsa that." "Ok sure."

2 Snow birds came instead of one. Good one extra we can use. Sis I will take you as far as the forest where we can see the houses you and the evans family. I will look for Luke." "Oh thank you Lycan. Just be careful ok?" "Yes I will." So we all hopped on a snowbird and flew off.

While we were flying I had another memory. "Ah. Ow. Talia are you ok?" said Lycan. "Yeah I will be. Just a slight headache." "OK Talia tell the birds to pick up speed." I did just that and we were back in no time. Lycan went straight to the mountains.

"Sirs we need to get in quick these people are the Evans family they are with me." "Oh well then welcome." So he let us in and we got to the door and they figured they were the Evans so they let us in. "Mom! Dad!" "Talia what is it dear? Where is Lycan?" "He's in the mountains. He's going to save that blacksmith were heard about. Also this is the blacksmiths sister and Lycan's birth mother." "Oh nice to meet you your majesties." "Likewise. Lets head to the parlor to relax a bit and tell us a little of what's going on." "Yes dad."

So we got to the parlor with the Evans family. "Ok now tell us what is going on?" Then I started to explain. "Yes father. As I told brother. I had gotten my memory back of why I was in the forest. Master died because of me and I was kidnapped. I was given a letter while I was kidnapped by someone not knowing who but I was attacked in the forest. I had to deliver a message to the Evans family. He is a blacksmith and Lycan said he wasn't dead yet as far as he knew. He wanted to bring him home safely. Also since it was his blood relative." "I see. I understand. Oh also he said he would consider me, Onyx and Azura siblings no matter what and to tell you that you will always be his parents. Since you raised him." "I see. I just hope he comes back ok." Said mom. "Yeah mom he will I'm sure. He is strong. Oh and Mrs. Evans do you still have the letter?" "Yes right here." "Mind if I show my dad the letter?" "No go ahead if he can help in any way." "OK thanks." So I got the letter and gave it to dad.

"I see. So you said his job was a blacksmith right?" "Yes your majesty." "Well Lycan might be right. They probably need him to make weapons for them. Until he isn't useful anymore they will keep him. He probably sent this when he was captured thinking he was going to die." "I see that's a relief." I said.

"Ok well you all must be tired. Since you need a place to stay you are welcome to stay here." "The girls will be sharing a room and the boys will be sharing another." Said father. "Thank you mom and dad." "Its payback for having them rescue you. So thank you Mrs. Evans." "Oh sure. No problem we couldn't leave a human being in a place like that if we can help them." Said Mrs. Evans. "Ok then I will have a butler and Maid help you all out. Talia follow me please." "Yes father."

So I followed father into his office. "So what do we need to talk about father?" "Well you are passed the age to marry." "Arranged marriage?" "Well partially yes. That young man that looks like you older brother." "Oh his name is Jay what about him?" "Well what do you think about him?" "Uh well he is 2 years older than me and he's really handsome. Maybe more so than Lycan." "Haha is that so. What about personality wise?" "Well he's alright I guess. Why? Are you going to hook me up Jay?" "Well if I did what do you think?" "Well I wouldn't mind. He is nice young man. His face was the first one I saw when I woke up at the house." "Oh I see. Well that is good then. I will talk to Mrs. Evans and see what she thinks." "Yes father. I will be out in me and sisters hideout." "Ok go on."

Well I was thinking of it but decided to go back in the forest. When I got there the animals noticed and looked worried. "I'm ok everyone. I'm ok now so don't worry." Then they rejoiced and I heard something I turned around and saw Fawn. "Oh hi Fawn. I'm fine now so don't worry." "Oh that's a relief. Come on lets go play." "Um I can't go far cause father will be calling me in a little bit." "Aww ok maybe some other time then." "How is your family doing?" "Oh they are good. My baby brother is 2 now." "Oh that's right before I left your mother just had a baby." "Yeah she did." "That's good."

We were playing and having a good time when I felt something sharp hit me. I felt my back and took out an arrow. "Fawn….Get…Help….From the….King and….Queen." Then she passed out. "No! Talia!" Fawn saw that man running off and knew she couldn't do anything so she ran to get the king and queen like she was told.

Luckily the palace guards knew her. So she ran in and said, "Your majesties." and curtsied. "Your daughter is in danger. She is in the forest and was shot by an arrow.
