Foundation Hero Combat Trial
Izuku Midoriya POV:
After completing the Quirk Apprehension Test, we went back to change. Many girls were eyeing me from time to time. I just smiled at them and went to the gents changing room. When I was changing, some of the boys whistled looking at my body. Kirishima looked at me and asked, "Dude! what is with the muscles. They look so manly.". I laughed and said, "I just trained till exhausting. That is all.". Kaminari and Mineta were crying blood tears and yelled, "THIS IS NOT FAIR! EVERY GIRL WILL BE OOGLING AT HIM NOT US.". I sensed a hostile look and it was coming from you know who. I just treated him is air. Until or unless he changes, I will treat him as air.
The future Tailman hero Ojiro asked me, "Do you practice any martial arts?". I just laughed and said, "Yeah. I do practice martial arts of various styles.". He nodded with acknowledgment. Kaminari asked me, "What is that lightning that you generated? Is that your quirk?". I shook my head and said, "No. That is due to the effect of using my quirk. When energy builds up, static electricity generated from my body is projected outwards. Thus the lightning.". Kaminari just said, "Ooh". Various questions were asked and answered.
Unknowing to us (except me), girls were eavesdropping our conversation with the help of Kyoka Jiro, Earphone Jack. She was relaying every news happening that concerns me. It seems that girls wanted to know me. Even the ever stoic Momo. Kyoka was embarrassed but also excited to learn about me. Mina was way open. She looked at the other girls and said, "Wow! new student Midori is quite a hotty and muscle. Did you notice the abs and toned muscles that were shown by the suit? I wanted to thank the creator of that suit. Other girls were blushing and spluttering. Uraraka was even worse. She first-handed experienced those muscles.
Yaoyarozu slightly chided, "We are here for hero course Ashido-San, not for this. We need to focus on that first. But I am surprised. I never thought I would meet Izuku-San. He is one of the genius and the richest man in the world. His inventions saved many lives of civilians as well as heroes.". Mina said, "Yes. He is truly a genius as well as strong. He is also rich. I have heard that he is also kind. A perfect candidate for a husband. So who got a dibs on him?". Everyone was blushing and Uraraka was worse.
I then left the locker room and went back to class. Afternoon classes were filled with Maths, English, Physics and various subjects by various heroes. When the class completed, Katsuki went ahead without making a sound. I shrugged and went to my home. I was tackled by mom, who had a worried face. I just smiled and said, "I am home. What is for dinner.". She looked at me and said, "Welcome home. I am making Katsudon right now. How was your first day, Izuku?". I then explained about the tests and classes. We then went to sleep.
The next day, I went to school early after completing my daily training. If my memory served right, today will be a combat assessment conducted by All Might. If the story moved as canon, I will be paired with Ochako and pitted against Bakugo and Lida. I am not going to show my power to the world yet. I will finish off Bakugo quickly and let Ochako deal with Lida. That will be for the best. Soon students started to fill the classroom. Girls were looking at me with blush and Katsuki was trying to bore a hole in my head with his eyes.
The class started and various subjects were taught during the day. During lunch, all attention was on me, since the amount of food I was eating was huge. Kirishima asked, "Dude! How much are you eating? Where does the food goes?". I looked at him and said, "To maintain my body and due to my metabolism, I eat more. I am still on my growth spurt. Hence more food.". Kaminari and Mineta were dumbfounded while the girls were in their world. They thought 'Growth spurt!?'.
After lunch, we were waiting for the next teacher. Suddenly, the door slammed and All Might came through the door and said, "I CAME THROUGH THE DOOR....LIKE A NORMAL PERSON". While all of them were ecstatic due to All Might as a teacher I thought 'Dude. Seriously?'. What is this entrance? He looked at us and said, "All of you wear your hero dress. This suitcase contains a Hero suit that has been tailored as per your order. All of you suit up and gather at Ground Beta.
All of us changed to our hero suits, All of them wore suits similar to canon except me. I was wearing normal clothes of Hanma Yujiro. But the materials used in making these clothes were of Nanites and carbon fibers. Hence they are highly stretchable but tight fit. Fortunately, my pants were baggy. We then gathered in the Ground Beta. The girls were checking out each of the boys and were blushing when looking at me. I looked at the girls and thought, 'What is with dressing sense with the girls. All of them wore skin fit except Kyoka, but she looks cute with that dress. What is Momo wearing? Is she trying to mimic Midnight's debut? With her quirk, one misstep, she will be in the world of embarrassment.'.
All the girls who sensed me watching them were slightly embarrassed with slight anticipation, even from Momo. Only Kyoka was a little sad since she was not endowed like others. I looked at her and smiled lightly to alleviate her sadness, even if little. She saw my smile and blushed. All Might look at us and said, "Welcome to the Foundational Hero course. In this course, we are going to conduct a mock battle between Hero and Villain. This will be Indoor Battle Trial. Two members will be on a team and will compete against another pair. One will act as a Hero team and other as a villain team. All of you take a number and this pair of numbers will be considered as a pair.
This went as canon since I was paired with Ochako. All other girls were slightly disappointed while Ochako was a blushing mess. I encouraged her by saying, "Let's do our best. We will finish it soon and victorious.". She became serious and said, "Ok. Let's do our best.". All Might then said, "Now, these two boxes contain the Team alphabet. The right box is the Hero team and the Left box is the Villain team. I will be taking the balls simultaneously. The alphabets in these two balls will be considered as opponents. There is a dummy weapon placed inside the building. The villain teams will guard them where the hero team will try to secure them from the villain
If the heroes were able to restrain the villains or secure the weapons, they will be considered as winners. If the villain team were able to protect the weapon from heroes within the given time, the villains will be considered as the winner. Now after sorting the heroes and villain teams, we will start the trial.". Sorting was the same as canon. My opponent was Katsuki and Lida. Lida was slightly unnerved while Katsuki had a shit-eating grin. I looked at Ochako and said, "I have a plan. Listen to this.". I then explained my plan and she was excited and nervous.
All Might then said, "Now the villain team will enter the building and position their weapon. After 5 minutes, the hero team will enter and secure the weapon while battling the villains. Now start.". Bakugo and Lida went inside the building. After 5 minutes, we entered the building. Everyone in the lounge was watching the monitor. I sensed a movement near us. It seems that Katsuki came by himself. I looked at Ochako and said, "He is coming towards us. We will finish it in a jiffy and will to secure the weapon soon.".
Near the turn, Katsuki suddenly sprung, bringing his right hand towards us. In a speed where the normal eye couldn't perceive, I locked his hand with a cuff and locked it with his other hand. Losing his balance, Katsuki fell and when adjusting himself, he finally saw that he was cuffed. He was shocked and then became angry, spewing profanities at us. I simply brushed it and went with Ochako to secure the weapon.
Meanwhile, in the monitor room, everyone was shocked. Kirishima said, "Ambush is unmanly but the way Midoriya countered was manly.". Ojiro said, "I couldn't even follow his movement.". Mina whistled, "That's one speed. No one was able to follow it. But, it sure is hilarious to see Katsuki's shocked face.". Jirou nodded. Tsuyu said, "He is strong. kero.". Honoo simply nodded but not seen by anyone. While All Might thought, 'Dude. That was cool!'.
We then reached where Lida was guarding the weapon. I looked at Ochako and said, "I will distract Lida and capture him. You use your quirk to float and move towards the weapon and secure it. You are the correct person for this quest. Now I will go first. You float and follow me from above.". I immediately blow the doors and came inside. Seeing me, Lida was unnerved and said, "It seems Katsuki was defeated instantly. Even I can't defeat you, I must protect the weapon till the given time. Recipro burst.".
His speed was good, but it still looks slow to me. When he came to punch me, I opened a cuff and locked his hands, at the same time Ochako secured the weapon. Lida was shocked, not only he got caught even with his speed, he lost sight of Ochako, resulting in a complete loss. I looked at him and said, "Don't get discouraged by this. This is a training lesson. Find your weakness and overcome it. You are at the starting point of the hero course. You have three years before entering into that world. Instead of making mistake there and regretting, do the mistake now and learn from it. We are here to learn to overcome our weaknesses. Congratulation Lida, you are one step close to become a true hero.".
Saying it, I went along with Ochako to the monitor room. Lida was shocked but then a resolute expression was seen on his face. Unknowing to us, the entire team heard what I said. Each of them was brimming with determination and respect for me rose a few levels. Katsuki completely disregarded my advice and was fuming and brooding. We then came back to the monitoring room and it seems Lida was MVP for the trial. Well, he did turn himself to become a criminal/ Villain for the match.
Every match was the same as canon. Katsuki was shocked when he saw how Todoroki Shouto dealt with the situation. His pride as the strongest was shattered like glass. I saw his expression and left him to his thoughts. He needs to understand that not everything is about him. The session ended after All Might gave us some advice. Everyone questioned about my speed and technique. When I was going back home, I was stopped by Katsuki. He looked at me and asked, "What cheating did you do to gain this quirk. A loser like you was able to awaken the quirk. Do you want to mock me for hiding this?". I looked at him and thought 'He will never change'.
I looked at him and asked, "Did you see me cheating or did you see me do something. I was tested by I-Island scientists themselves and proved that I indeed do have a quirk. The doctor who first diagnosed me as quirkless is now rotting in Jail. There are many factors to determine a quirk. And also, Me a loser? Who was the one that was taken out immediately, who was the one who scored higher in the quirk apprehension test? Me mocking you? You are not even worth it. To me, you are a spoiled brat who will throw a tantrum if nothing goes by your wish. I will tell you one last time Bakugo. Nothing goes around you. Accept it bakugo. You have the power to become a hero. Don't act like a villain and spoil your life.". I left him behind while he was shouting that he will become No 1 hero while throwing us like a pebble. I just sighed and went back home.
