1 Life's Freshly Birthed Sorrow
In a world of only humans and animals, very rare occurrences of physically wonderland-like mixed forms start to appear in the country, Woodlock. They have been titled, "Furry".
Life once breathed a blue-haired girl born with this condition to a surprised mother and father. Even whilst in a calm hospital room, her father started panicking, sweating, and worrying about what went wrong with the birth, but no one was more horrified than her 3-year-old sister, Scarlet.
Scarlet had scarlet locks of long hair, just like her father. She held a disgusted scornful look of shock on her face staring at her baby sister. The panicked and confused doctor ran out of the delivery room in a hurry and that's when many interviewers, doctors, scientists, and government officers burst into the room escorting the baby out and put her temporarily in separate care.
The mother cried in confusion, the mother yelled for a doctor to return and retrieve the baby. Then a scientist enters the delivery room and explains what happened. "I'm awfully sorry for the intrusion on your delivery, but what is happening is a rare case of a recent disorder that occurs in one in one hundred million babies. Genetically she is not an animal, just born physically wrong.
It is unknown the cause or reason of the instances on this case or if there is even an antidote as we are still investigating it." Just then, a doctor walks in with the baby wrapped in a towel labelled "F10". The doctor explained that F in F10 meant Furry, and 10 means the number of born furries she was listed, so Blueberrii was the tenth born furry.
The father was beyond worried, wondering what to do with tears starting to form in his eyes. "Everything is going to be okay Ryan; this is a blessing indeed." The mother said to her husband with tears rolling down her face.
"Even if she is not physically appealing to society I don't mind because I know there is a human soul in there waiting for love and equality from someone. God bless my baby and I will love her with all my heart, for she is my daughter." She spoke the following words in a gentle manner not a stutter nor stammer.
The father's face of shock then turned into a face of consern. He never wanted a disformed child and wasn't as optimistic as his wife, Marinette. Marinette named the baby Blueberrii for her gorgeous locks of blue hair just like her mother's.
Meanwhile Scarlet stood an astounding six feet from Blue in confusion and scorn. Leaving that hospital was the hardest step for the Bellawood family to take in years for their lifestyle, their reputation, and their whole family.
