15 Learning from eachother

[POV: Aoi]

It's been about two weeks since we've reached this little lake oasis, and we haven't seen a single soul aside from the animals roaming around the area. It's quite peaceful actually. You wouldn't think that just outside this forest is a mass of ignorant peasants constantly being trampled upon a handful of nobles that are full of themselves.

The time that's passed has actually shown to me that Arunika is actually a highly intelligent person so long as she can get someone to teach her. She's almost completely learned all of the hiragana and katakana[1] of the Japanese language, and we can even hold basic conversations to an extent. It'll probably take quite a while to teach her all of the kanji[2] though.

I just can't wait for the day I can start speaking to her in puns. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. I love puns and dad jokes. My classmates in college hated me for it too. The English language has them as well, but they just don't flow as smoothly as in my maiden tongue. Speaking of maiden tongues, I got Aru-chan to treat me to her first 'exploration' a few days ago. It was quite the experience to say the least. I actually sprayed and drenched her face so much you'd think that I just up and dumped a bucket of water on her.

We've done quite a bit of sexual activities these past couple of weeks but nothing past oral sex, but she's learning how to please me and I already know pretty much all of her weak spots now. Her favorite weak spot is just a centimeter or two just below her navel. If I linger my tongue there for just a slightly longer period of time she'll start to have mini orgasms. It's also a spot I favor mainly because of her abs. STOP DROOLING AOI! STOP IT!

Ahem, anyways, she's also quick on the uptake for her magic too. I've taught her a lot of easy to understand principles on the growth of plants and movement of the earth. She can actually create a miniature localized earthquake now. It'll be great for if and when we'll be on the run in the future. She can even create traps using vines she's grown with her plant magic. Hunting has been easier because of it.

I, myself, have learned that Shadow and Darkness magic can actually create solid objects out of the shadows. I created spikes to impale this rabbit-like creature on one of our hunting/training exercises. I still haven't tried the magic dealing in nuclear fusion yet, because of obvious reasons, but we'll save testing that out for when I possibly bomb that royal quarters in the capital. The more I hear of these chauvinistic pigs, the more I want to wipe them out.

"You know, Aoi-chan, whenever you grin like that, it kind of creeps me out."

"Oh! I'm sorry honey. I just get that way when I think of ways to deal with the noble and royal pigs."

[POV: Arunika]

You know... my wife is extremely cute, but when I see her out of the corner of my eye with that creepy grin and dark chuckle, it makes me worried. I feel like she's doing it as a part of my best interests though. Like how she'd do anything to help keep us protected. It warms my heart and gives me flutters in my stomach when I see that overprotective side of her though. It just goes to show how much she cares for me.

*Haah* I love her so much. I become a big ole goopy mess when I see her look at me with those deep blue eyes. "What's with the goofy grin Aru-chan?"

"Nothing, just that I love you is all."

"Awe, you're gonna make me blush. Come here and give a big ole' hug. Fufu, I love you too, honey."

See what I mean? Just that's enough to set a fire in my heart. And I don't know why she's self-conscious about her body because she's just gorgeous. She's told me with all the work she's done the past couple weeks that it's helped with her stamina and weight. I don't care though. She could blow up to double the size and I'd still love her.

She's taught me a whole lot too. My understanding of plant and earth magic have really increased, and now I can do so much more than before with it than before. We haven't worked on the life magic aspect of my nature magic system yet though. We still know nothing about what it entails, so after we end up leaving this location, Aoi's planning on asking around a town or city without me since everyone knows me and it would be a little suspicious.

I'm not complaining though. My plant and earth magics are really strong now. Not only that earthquake spell she taught me but I've also learn how to cast lethal plant magic as well. While she's been teaching me more about magic and her native language I've also taught her more about the regions, their climates, and the controlling nobility and royalty.

The four major noble families that control the borders are the Shulz family in the Western region we just came from, the Kroop family in the Southern region we're at now, the Koch family in the Eastern region, and the Stein family in the Northern region. Then you have the Kreutz royal family with King Augustus IX, Crown Prince Augustus X, and the Princess Felicity, who know one really knows about. She's an enigma and word of her never really travels outside of the royal palace.

The means of commerce for all the regions being; the Western regions specializes in fishing and sea trade, Southern region has forestry, farming and trade with the nations to the South, the Eastern region is basically a den of hedonism, and the Northern region focuses on hunting and forestry, it's also where a majority of the soldiers in the empire are stationed seeing how it's a harsher climate.

She's also going to teach me math soon so I can learn to haggle on my own when shopping. I'm kind of excited for that to happen. Normally I just grab whatever and pay what they tell me. Just thinking about all the little snacks I can buy just makes me drool.

"Why are you drooling honey?"

"Hehe, I'm a little hungry."

"Well, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. We have to check all the traps and I'd like to forage for some more herbs while we're at it, so let's eat before calling it a night."

"No play in bed?"

"We can't just have sex all the time."

"I kind of wanted to though," Arunika said pouting.

"Fufu, How about we just cuddle then?"

"Alright, that sounds great!"
