2 The World Stage

Having seen the press conference about the Blue Lock project, he was eager to play against the top players that would emerge. After watching Round 1, he found that only few people were worth thinking about, while the rest were mere stepping stones.

The player closest to his playstyle yet the farthest from him was Seishiro Nagi ,he had the ball control but he lacked the animalistic instincts and the reflexes needed .When Kira saw Rin he saw the shadow of Itoshi Sae's play in him and started laughing thinking about what kind of team Japan will be able to produce out of these kind of unpolished stones .

Seeing Team Z lose 3-0 to Team V, he knew they thought Nagi was a monster, but compared to a world-class player, Nagi was nothing special. A player's ego is the only thing that sets them apart among eleven talented players on the international stage.

During the match, Kira's slumbering ego was awoken by the potential of the players, and for a split second a whole new sense of purpose and pressure was felt as if the sky was now his. The hunger for the world came out of him and Ego saw the pressure and sighed. He handed him a piece of paper showing the invitation of world class stars for a training match and for once, he smiled, awaiting their arrival in Japan.

Despite not being able to play in a match, his training was extremely strict and he was himself a training maniac. He was convinced that "it does not stop for anyone. We must stop it with our own strength" . "He as a formless shooter and terrifying ball control, easily scored a hundred goals against the AI holograms comprising of the country's best goalkeepers" .

In order to have fun, with the blue lock program he would begin playing against the 3 top players for free. Normally professional players charge huge amounts of money just to play, but for the sake of fun, he was willing to lose the money.

It was very exciting watching the 3v3 match between Rin and Isagi. The match of two different types of talents one who wanted to defeat his brother remaining as his shadow and another who was weak but was able to develop his ego and use what he had to drive himself forward with unwavering determination.

Watching Rin win, he laughed and said , "he really knows how to use his weapons well". Kira's hunger reached another level watching that match match . He went to the training of the 4 membered team of Rin and Bachira .Rin was doing yoga and reest were playing a free for all but for second they felt it ,a pressure so great it was like standing in front of a titan they all saw the person releasing such an aura .Rin recognized him he remembered seeing him in a match with his brother in a magazine Kira Yukimura the unstoppable scorer . It was obvious that Rin didn't enjoy playing with them, " why don't we play and I will show you how to have fun.". All of them felt excited, but particularly Rin who said don't interupt my path I want to see the gap, while Kira said let's play 1 V 4 Ego wanted to see what made him unstoppable.

The match started with Kira having the ball Rin was standing as the last line of defense whilst the other tree tried to get the ball from him but the situation was on another level a simple dribble with speed and ball control the dribble transfformed into something out of the world it was like a elf dancing on a field he did a simple marseille turn and went around two of them and against bachira he shot the ball and overtook him pure speed he didnt use any fancy techinques or his formless play with just the basics he took football to the world level .

Rin saw something out of the world completely he saw a different scenery with the one play of his Kira just passed him with a terrifying change of pace just a simple pass from one leg to another in different speeds made a huge weapon on is own Rin fell , the shift of balance from one leg to another makes the center of mass fall Kira then shot the ball which completely dropped in front of the goal keepers hands and fell into the goal .

Kira then said , "not yet you are not ready yet to make me start playing seriously ". He then while leaving said ,"Rin I'll be back to play with you after you beat your brother ".
