Sae vs Nakada (88)

Time skip

As the game went on the match started to heat up, the score was not in favor of the U-20 team and Sae knew that.

Sae the U-20 team's creative midfielder, found himself facing a very big challenge.

With three opponents converging on him, he knew that a standard dribble wouldn't be enough. This was a moment that called for somethng above their pay grade. (A/N Nakada was nearby)

With the ball at his feet, Sae surveyed the field, calculating his options. As the Nikko closed in, he executed a lightning-quick step-over, using the inside of his foot to send the ball diagonally to his left. Nikko lunged for the ball but was met with thin air.

Seizing the opportunity, Sae dashed to the right, accelerating away from the Nakada reach. As he approached the Aryu, he skillfully shifted the ball to his right foot, creating a slight hesitation in the defender's movements.

With a burst of speed, Sae then executed a rapid series of quick touches, alternating between the inside and outside of his right foot. The ball seemed to dance around him, mesmerizing the Aryu and creating a window of opportunity.

"It's not time to stare Aryu, focus dammit," Nakada said upon noticing that Aryu was mesmerized by Sae's play.

it was too late though as In a moment of calculated genius, Sae flicked the ball upwards with the outside of his right foot, allowing it to rise just above his knee height. Aryu, momentarily caught off guard, instinctively extended a leg to intercept the ball.

But Sae was one step ahead, he had expected Aryu to try something like this against him.

As the ball hung in the air, Sae executed a perfectly timed scissor kick, propelling it to his left and bypassing the lunging Aryu. The crowd gasped in amazement as the ball soared gracefully over Aryu's outstretched leg.

Now facing Otoya, Sae controlled the ball with his chest, cushioning it for a split second. Sae then deftly let the ball drop to his feet, using the slight delay to assess Otoya's movements.

With the Otoya closing in, Sae set loose a burst of speed, dribbling with the outside of his right foot. As Otoya committed to closing down the angle, Sae abruptly changed direction, executing a quick chop with his right foot that sent the ball bouncing to his left.

The sudden change of direction left Otoya stumbling, creating the perfect opportunity for Sae to sprint past him. With only the goalkeeper left to beat, Sae entered the penalty area, his focus unbroken.

In a final flourish, he performed a "Cruyff Turn," shifting his body weight to one side and dragging the ball behind his planted foot. Gagamaru, anticipating a shot in the original direction, was wrong-footed by the maneuver.

with the goal wide open, Sae shot the ball into the net only for Nakada to appear seemingly out of nowhere to kick the ball far away from his team's net.

"Not today Sae" Nakada teased Sae before running after the ball, the Japanese prodigy just look mildly annoyed before he also follows behind Nakada intending on grabbing that ball.

The ball landed near Karasu and with a smile on his face, he passed the ball to Nagi who ran with the ball at his feet dribbling past the first player that came near him.

Nagi then did a long pass toward Rin, Rin skillfully trapped the ball before rushing toward their goal, he was soon met with 2 defenders, and with Sae's presence getting ever so closer to his back.

He decided to pass the ball to Nagi but as the ball flew in the air, it was intercepted by Aiku.

"Not today robber-Chan" Aiku said before kicking the ball away.

Aiku had scanned the field with his eyes beforehand and seeing that their center back was free he had decided to pass it to him and that was where his kick went.

From the heart of their defense, the center-back immediately took charge. He glanced up and surveyed the field with a calculating gaze. With a precise, laser-like pass, he dispatched the ball to the left flank, where the left-back was strategically positioned.

The left-back received the pass with a sure touch and wasted no time. His feet were a blur as he surged forward, turning the defense into an offense.

Team blue lock who had just lost the ball was sprinting to change back to their defensive formation

Team blue lock midfielders raced back to reclaim their positions, but the left-back's acceleration was relentless.

He seemed propelled by determination and momentum as he neared the halfway line.

In a split second, the left-back unleashed a well-weighted pass with surgical accuracy, weaving the ball between the rival midfielders. (A/N I know…fancy words)

Sae Itoshie an active presence in the field, the literal heart of the U-20 team had read the situation perfectly. He burst into action, his rapid strides closing the gap between himself and the oncoming ball.

Nakada was following him closely by though.

Sae Itoshie trapped the ball with skilled touch, he controlled the ball and propelled it forward

His control was perfect, and his vision remained locked on the unfolding scene.

As he raced into the attacking third, the central midfielder was met with a Karasu who attempted to halt his progress. With a quick shift of his body, he evaded Karasu's challenge and surged forward, his stride unbroken.

Sprinting towards the edge of the penalty area,Sae sensed an opening on the right wing. He executed a split-second pass, delivering the ball with impeccable accuracy to the right-winger, who had anticipated the counter-attack's trajectory.

The right-winger's speed was decent as he tore down the flank, his focus solely on the goal ahead. The defenders were racing to close him down, but his pace was unforgiving. (A/N It's becoming a hassle to write their name over and over again)

As he entered the penalty area, the right-winger abruptly changed his trajectory, outmaneuvering Gagamaru who had rushed forward to confront him. Gagamaru was left sprawled on the turf, his outstretched arms grasping at the air.

With an astute flick, the right-winger guided the ball into the empty net, by unlikely the keeper was Gagamaru and with his spring-like limbs he was able to punch the ball away.

The ball landed near Sae Itoshie feet meaning that the attack was still in play.

As Sae surged forward with the ball at his feet, his eyes gleaming with determination, the entire counter-attack seemed to converge into a decisive moment. He had orchestrated this swift progression, and now it was his turn to provide the finishing touch.

It was more like his team was messing up and it was his time to clean the mess, he could not believe that they had messed up such an easy opportunity guess if you wanted something done right you truly had to do it yourself.

Approaching the penalty area, he spotted Sendou making a well-timed run between the defenders. With a quick mental calculation, he judged the precise moment to release the ball. In a fluid motion, he delivered a pinpoint pass to the striker, who was primed for the shot.

However, fate had a different plan. Gagamaru, the goalkeeper of team blue lock had anticipated the situation perfectly. It was more like his instinct were telling him what to and so he followed them.

He launched into action, his reflexes working their wonderful magic.

Sendou shot, though powerful and targeted, was met with a beautiful save as Gagamaru deflected the ball away from the net.

As Sae watched the situation in frustration, the ball rebounded towards him. But Nakada was hot on his heels, narrowing the space and pressuring him. The situation demanded quick thinking, and Sae recognized that his best option was to maintain the fluidity of the attack.

With a swift glance, he spotted a teammate in a favorable position. Without a moment's hesitation, he acted like he was going to pass the ball which seem to have fouled Nakada for just a split second, before he realize the look on Sae's face and tried to put his feet between Sae and the goal.

Sae shot the ball with all his might and added as much curve into it, unfortunately for Gagamaru, he wouldn't be able to save this one.

Gagamaru and the whole blue lock team watched as the ball enter the back of the net with no one there to stop him.

The net rippled as the ball nestled into the back of it, the crowd erupting in cheers. The score was now equalized, 2-2.

It was bowed clear to everyone in a blue lock that this match was basically Nakada vs Sae, they were the leading actor while they were the side character.

The people used to make them look better….both teams realize this at the same exact time but it had different meanings for each team.

A/N yep a mix of my own writing with some chatgpt sprayed in there, it efficient and when I write this way. It doesn't really take that much out of me.

I could probably write a long chapter like this at least twice a week.

Also sorry for the late chapter I was asleep when we reached 60 power stones.
