- Chapter 5 - Two sides, Part 1

Right after the fight between Aky and Niza...

Inside of an empty subway under New York city...

Ukita Urikire [Semi Master class]

Hakuri Urikire [Semi Master class]

"Ukitaaaa, how long are we going to walk?!"

An average sized girl with black-purple hair said as she walked with her brother who seemed to be more serious and he was just a bit taller than her. He had a short blonde hair and both of them had black eyes and both of them wore the same clothes which were looking like ordinary businessman clothes. Ukita groans a bit as he just kept looking forward and walking forward...

"Hakuri, stop that. If you want to help our boss out in his mission and recieve a good payment, you should do anything for it. Besides, this is too easy for half a million yen!"

Ukita says to his sister Hakuri as they both kept on walking straight. Ukita was also carrying a large suitcase in his hand. He opens the suitcase as he looks at a monitor inside of it, it was showing a radar.

"Nothing in sight. You know, if we weren't siblings Yugi wouldn't have sent us to this mission. Our techniques can pair really well because of our shared blood."

Ukita said as Hakuri seemed to get more and more bored.

"I just want to finally have some fun! This is too boring!"

Hakuri said as she began to poke Ukita's head.

"Heeeey, Ukitaaaaaa, got anything yet?"

Ukita sighs and says:

"No, not yet..."

But Hakuri didn't stop.

"And now?"

"Now?"

"What about now?"

"NOW?!"

"AND NOOOW?!"

Ukita pushes her head down as he can't concentrate on the radar because of her.

"No!! Nothing yet! You know these humans that are on those drugs don't appear just instantly in front of us! At least most of them..."

Hakuri crosses her hands as she then jumps a bit in the air and a dark cloud appears under her as she sits on it while following Ukita. Hakuri has a special very rare ability which is called "Dark matter". Her ability allows her to manipulate the energy inside of her and release it in many different forms like in this one. She can also detect different kinds of ability energy in a big radius.

Her brother, Ukita, on the other hand has an ability that can make him manipulate any object that is in his hand, in which way? Well, he can turn that object into anything he wants, a weapon like a gun or a sword. But it has an energy and size limit, so it is not as overpowered as it sounds.

Ukita finally sees a big dot on his radar as he closes the suitcase immidiately and forms it into a katana.

"Hakuri...stay low...I've detected something."

He slowly goes forward with Hakuri as they tried to stay low on making sounds. Hakuri's dark cloud disappears as she stays close to her brother as they get closer and closer to a strange voice:

"I can't...resist...I need more...power...I need to be stronger...than any human there is!"

They soon spot the person that was making the noise. It was a very large man who was both tall and fat, about two and a half meters tall. Though he looked extremely ugly as he was probably taking lots of strength increasing drugs, which he was doing. Ukita then forms a silenced pistol in his hand as he points it at the guy.

"Hakuri, be ready to attack, this seemes to be one of those power seeking guys who have been taking too much demi-human drugs. And this guy seemes to be taking too much of every kind."

Ukita says and Hakuri nods as she forms a ball of dark matter in her hands. Hakuri aims at the guy's head as he takes the shot. The bullet was about to connect to the head but it got reflected by a strange barrier.

"Hakuri! Go!"

Ukita orders Hakuri as she immidiately goes forward and shoots a dark matter beam at the guy. But he just seemed to be knocked back a little by that.

"Look at that. What do we have here? Did you take a demi-human syringe too?"

He said as he laughed to himself. Ukita grunts as he takes another shot but at his torso, but it got reflected again.

"No, we are not! We are actually humans who have been born with these abilities! We are natural unlike you!"

Ukita said as he pointed the gun towards the guy. Hakuri just watched as she was ready for any attack. Suddendly she began to feel suspicious about this, she got a feeling that someone else might be here.

"I sense a fourth source of energy coming from somewhere, this guy isn't alone!"

She thought to herself as she summons two daggers made out of darkness in her hands.

"Who are you?! And what are you doing here?!"

Ukita screams out at the tall drugged man...

"Hmm...Just call me Dag and I am part of the Spiral! The company that thrives to make every human powerful! Just like they made me! That's why I am here to eliminate every goon that tries to stop us in our mission! And those goons are you, Yugi's minions!"

Dag shouts out with a proud expression. It seems like ge loves his job. Ukita then grunts as his gun takes a form of a katana.

"Hakuri! Let's go!"

He commands to his sister. Hakuri transfers her dark matter into Ukita's katana as he goes forward to face Dag. Hakuri quickly runs beside those two, she was searching for the source of an energy that she was feeling. As soon as she got closer to the source of the energy, before she knew it...

"I won't let you!"

Dag came in as he slammed his fist behind her. Thankfully Hakuri jumped in time to avoid the impact after she heard his voice.

All of the sudden, in a corner of the tunnel, she saw a strange average sized girl staring at her with a wide grin on her face. Her eyes and hair were shining red in the shadow and she had a bit of blood dripping from her chin. She steps forward as her suit gets revealed and she has a badge on her chest that states her name: "Megan Artwood". There were also several dead bodies behind her. As Hakuri was about to land...

WHOOSH ! ! !

...a large wave of dark red blood travels quickly towards her from Megan's direction. She barely dodged it as she got a slight scar on her thigh.

"So it seems like we ran into Yugi's little goons! We are gonna have so much fun tonight!"

Says Megan as she draws out a spear made out of pure blood. Megan's ability is Blood manipulation, she can control her blood and the blood of the dead beings which also has a possible poisoning effect depending on how fresh the corpse is. She can also quickly gain back her blood because of her fast heartbeat and bloodflow.

Meanwhile, Ukita seems to be struggling with Dag. He tried to find a way on how to break through or at least get through Dag's barrier. Thankfully he didn't have any scratches on him since he already figured out Dag's fighting style. He basically has no skill in fighting at all.

"His arms...Yes, I know now! I will have to get hit by him if I have to hurt him. But if I get lucky enough I can even dodge his hits and place a bomb directly in his arm, but that will leave me in a critical place and I might even get between Hakuri and this strange bloody girl! His fists and whole arms didn't envelop the barrier of his so it seems like those are the only parts of his body that I can hit! And maybe...Just maybe if this works out, I may be able to take him down!"

Ukita thinks to himself as he then turns his katana into a metal protection suit that covers his whole torso. He puts up his fists as he is about to take Dag on face to face.

"Finally deciding to stop acting like a coward? Hah! Finally! Come here weakling!"

Dag sreams out as he runs forward towards Ukita as he does the same. And as expected, Ukita got hit in the stomach by Dag and got launched back towards a wall. He had this suit so he didn't take a lot of damage.

"How do you like that?! Come back here now, you can still move!"

Dag says to him. But before he can move, his whole right arm exploded as Ukita didn't shove one frag grenade into it, well he shoved three instead. Dag screams in pain as his arm quickly began to regenerate.

"Here is a little extra too!"

Ukita said as a flashbang grenade bounces off the floor towards Dag. Ukita closes his eyes and puts his index fingers in his ears right before the flashbang occured. Right after that, Ukita charged forward with a katana as he finally successfully hit Dag in the throat. Knowing that he will regenerate his lower body, Ukita moves the blade upwards as he slashes his head in half and even cuts it off, and then he finishes the job off with a kick to the chest. Dag falls down as he is easily outsmarted and defeated by Ukita.

Meanwhile Hakuri and Megan were clashing with their abilities. Hakuri seems to be getting slower as she unfortunately got a bit poisoned by the first hit of blood which came from a corpse.

"Damn it...Why didn't I avoid this first hit?! Why am I so careless?!"

Hakuri criticizes herself. Megan seemed to be getting more and more excited as she was getting faster and stronger than Hakuri. But little did she know that Hakuri was having an ace up her sleeve that could secure her win. As soon as Megan was about to get close, from the ground, a pair of purple hands grabs her hands as she gets thrown back. A skinny yet tall purple entity gets out of the ground as it stares at Megan with its white glitchy eyes. Hakuri steps back as she began to heal her wound from giving her a bigger infection.

"Take her down, Slender!"

Hakuri commands the entity. Slender immidiately lunges forward towards Megan as it immidiately got hit by her blood spear, but it didn't seem to get affected by it at all. It pins her back in the wall with its hand all over her face. Megan grabs its wrist as she seemed to be enjoying this quite a lot, her widening grin tells that.

"Yeeees...This is what I call a fun fight!"

Megan laughs to herself as she summons a big bloody blade from the ground that hits Slender in the face and makes it slide back so she can get out of its grip.

"Let's see how this skinny pet can go against all of my bloody toys!"

Megan said in a sadistic tone as she pulled out a large bloody hammer with spikes all over its upper part. Slender goes forward once again as it turns its arm into a blade. Its blade clashes with the hammer, but Megan was just too fast for him, so she lets her hammer go and summons a long bloody blade which quickly penetrates Slender's chest. Since it is a being made out of only dark matter, it just goes forward more and the blade penetrates its chest even more.

"It's over for you, tough stuff! You were no fun!"

Megan said as she quickly sliced its chest and then his head in half. And with few quick motions she sliced almost his whole body into small pieces. Hakuri knew that this was going to happen.

"Well that was long...Wanna get back to the real stuff, shadow girl?"

Megan said as she summons another blood blade out of her other arm and sharpens it against the other blade. She then dashes forward in an attempt to cut Hakuri, but Hakuri was ready to counter her attack.

"Void room!"

Hakuri screams out as she claps her hands together. The area around them was now pitch black, though it didn't effect Ukita and Dag. Megan was now unable to see anything as she was trapped in a same pitch black room with Hakuri. Although Hakuri can see perfectly inside of it. Suddendly many hands grab on to Megan as she was now held in the air by them.

"W-What?! What is happening?! I can't see anything!"

Megan screams out in pain as she is being stretched by the dark hands around her. Hakuri was right in front of her as she was controlling the hands. Megan then smiled as she realized what was going on. She then bit her tongue as she releases a few blood whips in the air that cut all the hands.

"That kinda hurt! But it's still not enough to take me down!"

Megan said as she wiped her mouth full of blood. Hakuri then proceeded to kick Megan forward so she can send her away from her. Megan lands on the solid wall of the room as she summoned two bloody daggers in her hands. She dashed forward as she knew where Hakuri is. She is now relying on pure instinct to take Hakuri down.

"Come out to play you cowardly girl! I'll just leave a cut or two on you! Or maybe a few thousand!"

Megan said in a malicious tone of voice shile she was swinging her daggers around and hoping that she hits Hakuri. And Hakuri was barely dodging them. Megan's instinct is on another level as she is able to kind of hear the bloodflow of her enemies too. But she needs to be very focused for that just like now. All of the sudden, one of her daggers clashes with Hakuri's katana that is made out of dark matter. She extends the dagger's blade turning it into a sword.

"Found you! GUH-"

But before Megan could think, Hakuri landed a clean upper kick to her chin as it sends her back against a dark wall.

"Your instinct can't help you in here, Megan! This is my domain and I have a full control of it!"

Hakuri says in a confident tone as she quickly runs forward and stabs her right in the chest with her dark matter katana. The Void room breaks right after that as Ukita was already prepared to take on Megan along with Hakuri, but that was not necessary since Hakuri already did it. Megan's eyes slowly lose their shine as her head falls back down on the ground. Now both Dag and Megan were defeated by the siblings. Hakuri takes out her sword out of Megan as she seemed to be kind of dizzy. Ukita comes to her and hands her a bottle of fresh water while he was holding her still on her feet.

"Here, drink this. I know that you've used up too much energy, especially with your Void room. Good job sister."

He said to her with a calm tone. They hoth smile to eachother as they continue to walk forward.

But soon...

"Hakuri, get down!"

WHOOSH ! ! !

...a long blood beam was about to slice them in half, but thankfully they dodged it.

"Heh! That was an entertaining round one!"

Megan said as Dag was beside her. Both of them seemed to be fine now.

"What's this now?! I knew that Dag could regenerate, but I didn't know that he can regenerate from his head too! I was told that there is no drug that gives a human an ability to regenerate from their head when it's sliced from their body!"

Ukita thought to himself as he stared at the two while having an exhausted Hakuri in his arms.

"What are we going to do?!"

...

Back in Japan...

Aky was now laying down on his back, on a bed as he was extremely exhausted from the recent fight. Suddendly a door opens as Niza comes in. She stares at him for a few seconds before approaching him. She kneels down beside the bed as she looks at his arm.

"He fought so hard. And he defeated me, just imagine what that blue fire ball would have done to me."

Niza said to herself as she then looked at his face.

"Though I believe that he really did hold it back. He is actually, truly..."

Niza puts her hand on his arm...

"...truly one of the kindest people I've met. He knew that he was stronger than me, but he didn't want to hurt me from the start. But as soon as he saw that I was beginning to have fun while fighting him, he didn't stop, he just kept fighting."

Niza held his arm a bit tighter...

"But I'm the one who made him think that I am actually an egotistical asshole. I don't want him to think like that about me! I hope he realizes that I actually didn't do all that on purpose. I was just...carried away. I just wanna become his friend."

Niza put her head on his wrist as she was waiting for Aky to wake up.

Now once again, Aky is having the same dream. But now it's kind of extended.

He is in front of the same hut in a same flower field. Now there is a small figure of a kid that is grabbing his hand. He once again can't understand any type of voice inside of that dream. Aky tried to speak but unfortunately he can't. He now began to get dragged by the smaller figure towards the hut right before his dream ended once again.

Aky woke up slowly as the first thing he saw was his recent opponent, Niza.

"Good morning sleepyhead!"

Niza said. Aky was now confused as he didn't know where Niza's cocky and bratty personality has gone. He binks a few times and stares at her for a few moments before finally speaking up.

"Weren't you supposed to be resting too? You got beaten pretty badly, you know?"

He said to her. Niza shrugs as she shakes her head.

"Well yes, but I regenerate a bit more quickly! So now I am like Napoleon! Ready for a new day full of battles!"

Niza said as she put her foot on to the bed and points her fist up like she's holding a sword. Aky just looks ar her with a more confused look.

"Um...Okay then. I'm still pretty tired, so can you let me rest for a bit more?"

Aky said to her. Niza just gets closer to him and pushes her finger against his nose.

"What's the magic woooord?"

Niza said in a teasing tone. Aky grunts a bit as he looks away.

"...Please?"

Aky said. But Niza puts a bit more pressure on to his nose.

"Give it some more passion!"

Niza said to him. Aky was getting kind of annoyed now, but he just fixes his composture and says:

"Oh Niza, the mighty pink flame dragon. Can you please let me sleep for a bit more so I can finally be ready for this day?"

Aky said. Niza then lets his nose go as she hovers to the door of the room.

"Okay, blue flame guy! I'll send you some breakfast later too!"

She said as she left the room. Aky just stared at the door as he was still confused on what happened in the last ten minutes.

"What happened to her? Oh well...it seems like people just have some secret personalities!"

He shrugs to himself as he goes back to rest.

...

Back in the tunnels under New York City...

Hakuri once again summoned an entity and now it's not Slender, it's a dark bear that is now fighting against Dag while Ukita was fighting against Megan. Megan seemed to be getting faster and faster as adrenaline flowed through her veins. Ukita was able to overpower her, but not outrun her. She had already sliced him with fresh blood already, but since it's fresh, he didn't get poisoned by it.

"Where are our heroes now?! Are they exhausted?! Hahah! I love seeing the winners struggle once they enter the second round!"

Megan said to Ukita as he then kicked her back. In almost an instant, he turned his katana into a gun. He then shoots a few bullets towards Megan. She dodges a few and only two hit her, but those two didn't do almost anything to her as her bloodflow increased her healing capabilities. She quickly dashes forward as she kicks Ukita back. He got sent flying towards Hakuri as Dag has completely destroyed rhe dark bear. They were now once again in their way.

"I bet boss will be happy once he sees what we've captured! I'll finally get more money and abilities! Hahahaha!"

Dag laughed as he looked down at Megan who was also happy that they've won.

"Yeah Dag! Wealth is awaiting for both of us! And I guess I can take a sip of blood from one of them too! Now I just have to know who's the younger one, because youngsters have the sweetest blood!"

Megan laughes too as they were planning their celebration.

But then...

Clap Clap Clap Clap

A sound of someone's hands clapping was heard from behind Ukita and Hakuri.

"Bravo! Bravo! Such a bloody gorgeous show you've put on!"

A girly voice came out of the darkness of the tunnel. All of them turn their look to see who's there. Ukita's and Hakuri's eyes widen.

"A...master class?"

Ukita said quietly as he looked at that direction. And out of the darkness comes out a face with purple eyes and shining blonde hair.

"Miss...O...Okure!"

Hakuri said as she once again regained her smile.

"You two did well. Leave this to the master class now!"

Okure said as she slowly stepy forward. Dag then quickly runs forward as he was about to grab Ukita and Hakuri.

"They are ours! We are capturing them!"

Dag said as soon as he began to run. But then Okure puts her wireless headphones in her ears and her hand on the seath of her katana.

"Now let's cook this up!"

Okure said as with one swift move, inless than a blink of an eye, she was behind Dag. The blade of her katana shines as a click can be heard from her seath. As soon as that click was heard, Dag's body was sliced three times, on the waist, torso and neck. His body was cut in four different pieces perfectly. Okure looks at Megan with her shining purple eyes as Megan was stunned.

"You're next, vampire girl."
