SHAMELESSNESS BEYOND BELIEF

We wolfed down every dish we ordered under the scrutinizing eyes of every of everybody in the restaurant.

"Well, if it isn't Mr. Fable" said a man in a suit and tie.

"Coach Francis" said Coach Michael as he turned to face him.

"Surprised to see you here but it's a pleasure to always run into you" replied the man who Coach Michael referred to as Coach Francis.

"I can't say it's a pleasure meeting you because every time I bump into you I suddenly feel uncomfortable" replied Coach Michael.

"are these your contenders?" asked Coach Francis ignoring what Coach Michael said, "they don't look like much" he added.

"I know but they're more than enough to wipe your whole team out" said Coach Michael.

"Are you sure about that?" coach Francis asked as he signaled his team with a wave of his hand, they all moved to surround him.

The aura from their bodies was terrifying it was as if they were trained killers. They did not carry excessive muscles like pure body trainers.

"Why can't you find handsome contenders who can also compete, you always end up with guys who like they've been beaten as kids till they joined a gang" said Coach Michael.

"That attitude of yours better remain the same and you better hope your contenders don't end up mine or else they'll definitely suffer" said Coach Francis as he looked at us.

"Enri, how many moves do you think it would take Hyla to take them down?" asked Grey all of a sudden.

"I'm not sure, maybe one move or two" replied Enri with a smile in a matter of fact manner.

"Hahaha, do you see that? My boys seem to think that your boys will be the ones on the losing end if they were to encounter them" said Coach Michael with a laugh.

"We'll see" said Coach Francis with a huff as he left with his contenders in tow.

"I hate that guys guts" said Coach Michael as watched them leave.

"Nice one man, you sold your cousin out to get targeted for a potential beating" I said looking at Grey.

"We know you can take them down" said Grey as he winked at me.

"Since we're done eating lets go get you guys some new clothes" said Coach Michael standing up, "as for you guys try not to draw attention to yourselves before the competition starts" he added.

"I think you should be worried more about these two" I said since clearly Grey and Enri were the ones who would draw too much attention with their antics.

"it does not matter just keep a low profile" he said.

"Sure, whatever you say coach" I answered.

"I already checked with the staff, there's a clothing store in the building to cater to the needs of the contenders so that they don't have to waste time moving around the city" said coach Michael.

"What floor?" asked Enri.

"He said it's on the fifth floor" replied Coach Michael, "After we're done here, we'll check out the sparring arena" said Coach Michael.

"Why?" asked Grey in a whining voice.

"Were you not the guy talking all big in front of Mr. Francis?" asked Coach Michael with a mocking smile, "We are not going there to fight with anybody but to get a rough estimate of the other contender's strength as well as to train" he said.

"That makes sense" I said after thinking about it.

"Alright let's move" said Coach Michael as he led the way.

Grey was even more unbelievable, since coach Michael said he would be the one paying for the clothes, Grey went all out with buying clothes, shoes, sunglasses, watches and every single thing in the store was a luxurious item, while he goaded Enri into going all out too. Seeing the both of them being so shameless even I had to give into my selfish desires as well.

"You boys have no shame" said Coach Michael as he swapped his card, "I'm going to end up bankrupt if I was to take you shopping a few more times" he thought.

"Coach, we're putting ourselves in serious danger during this competition but if we do well you would be the one getting all the praises" said Grey in a calculative manner.

"I never thought your cousin was this calculative" commented Blue as he watched the whole thing play out.

"That's true, think about it if we perform well they would be a lot of people who would be looking for you to train some of their men" said Enri. "I heard that its no simple competition as even military powers will be competing as well" he added with a smile, "That would be a lot of money".

"It looks like even Enri is being influenced by Grey" I said to Blue.

"Hyla, I can't believe I thought you were different from them" said Coach Michael as he shook his head.

"You can't blame me, we all have desires" I said with an innocent look.

"Go to hell" said Coach Michael as he realized that there was no point talking to any of us.

Coach Michael left the store, while we all carried our shopping bags in our hands, mouth since we bought a lot of clothes.

"Coach, wait for us" yelled Grey.

Coach Michael was silent as we made our way back to our rooms to keep our new clothes, while occasionally muttering something under his breaths. [Between me and you, I think he was cursing us out].

"Hurry up, let's go check out the sparring arena." Said Coach Michael.

"We are already done, come on coach you can't be upset about the money for the clothes" said grey as he added salt to his injury, "just think of it as an investment" said Grey.

"Let's go" said Coach Michael as he ignored Grey.

"Stop talking before you put us in more trouble" I whispered to Grey.

"Come on…"

"Can it Grey" interrupted Enri.

Ding!!! The elevator door opened to the sparring arena floor.

The whole floor was brightly illuminated with a seating area for people to watch the sparring sessions as well as training equipment of all kinds at the other end of the room. The arena could host at least twenty different matches at the same time.

"You boys should take your time to observe the people here" said coach Michael.

Can any one be as shameless as Grey?

or maybe someone more shameless is going to make an appearance soon:-)
