4 I hate my dad

Jake's p.o.v

As I wake up my eyes look at my clock it is still pretty early. I stand up from my bed and do some press up's when I'm done I take a quick shower I'm not a guy who believes in taking time in the bathroom.

I put on a black shirt and a pair of jeans with black vans as I put on my shoes, I look out the window and notice that my window is directly opposite Betty's room window. She's still sleeping

She probably has parents who'll care to wake her up if she oversleeps unlike mine who doesn't give a damn if I'm late on my first day well my mum does care but she doesn't have the time to show it, she goes to work early and comes home late, my dad, by the way, has plenty of time on his hands but prefers to spend it hanging out with friends or sleeping than with me he has never shown any care for me at all... it is like I'm not really his son...

Am I?

I hear a knock on my door I'm sure it is my mum she tries her best to speak to me before going to work and that's the only reason why I wake up so early.

"come in mum," I say to her. She walks in and sits beside me on the bed

"so are you nervous?" she asks and I look confused

"why would I be nervous?" I ask

"it's your first day in a new school normally kids your age are always nervous on their first day in a new school"

"well, I'm not" I reply a little bit too arrogantly she shrugs and looks at me as if I just said the opposite of how I felt.

Was I nervous?

She holds my hands and looks into my eyes

"you don't have to say it I know you are nervous but just be yourself, you are a wonderful kid and you are very handsome too they're all going to be lining up to be friends with you also Betty's going to be there too I remember how much you missed her when we moved you refused to eat for days you cried for weeks"

Of course, I know she'll be there how can forget that Betty my childhood best friend whom I left without a word will be in the new school I'm going to. 

"Jacob" I quickly snap out of my thoughts and look at her she was the only one who ever used my full name apart from my dad who used it to annoy me

"yes mom" I answer

"Please don't get into any fights at school this is a new school I want things to be different can you promise me that" she pleads.

"I'll try my best not to send anyone to the hospital this time but I can't promise to not hit a person if they get on my bad side," I say

"I'll get what I can have. I'll be going now so that I don't get to work late one more thing my car is faulty so I'll be using yours until the mechanic fixes mine is that okay with you" she asks and I nod my head to say yes she starts towards the door and I call her name when she's about to open the door she turns and raises an eyebrow

"Thanks," I say, she nods her head and walks out of my room

"Come back here young man where do you think you are going to," my dad says as I'm about to walk out the door

Obviously, I'm going to school. I know he knows that but for some reason, he finds joy in annoying me

"school" I reply and walk out the door...There's no way I'm going to allow him to ruin my day. Sometimes I wonder if my dad is really my dad I mean he has never acted like one maybe I was adopted.

Walking to the bus stop I noticed the scenes I didn't notice before.

I finally arrive at the bus stop and its empty luckily there is a bench so i sit on it and wait for the bus ...

Minutes later i hear footsteps so i look up to see who is approaching and its Betty our eyes meet for less than a second and i can see that she isn't pleased to see me here well i don't blame her i was the jerk who left without a word .....

"Name"the lady at the desk states as she looks at me through her glasses she has brown curly hair

"Jacob Rakesham"i say and give her my form she collects it and hands me my schedule.

"thanks" i say i'm about to leave but she calls me back

"one more thing the principal would like to see you"she says and points towards a door

Is it just me or isn't it weird for the principal to want to see the new kid on his first day of school i wonder what trouble I've caused without even knowing it.

"come in you must be Jake" the young handsome looking man who i guess is the principal says

I walk in and look around the office the walls are filled with pictures of wrestlers but mostly those of Seth Rollins and Roman reigns there's also a pool table a coffee machine and refrigerator... he seems pretty cool ...but why did he want to see me

"you see Jake this school has rules and regulations which we hold dear to us and anyone who violates the rules will be severely dealt with ..i'm sure you are wondering why i am telling you all this but i received a message from your dad and he told me how you always get into fights and cause trouble so i called you to personally warn you be careful while you're here I've got my eyes on you young man ... You may leave"

Great just great ..I just got here and the principal already thinks i'm a bad kid just when i thought my dad wont spoil my day

I hate my dad.

How annoying is it that he called the principal to badmouth his own son I mean who does that.
