Telling my parents about my dream was quite challenging. My mom knew about it all along while my dad was still clueless about it. My dad didn't agree that I will leave Veros for good and go to Medical school.

We fought.

We had been in a cold war for more than a week now. My dad really opposed the idea. My mom tried to talk to him but it was useless. They ended up fighting too.

/"So your parents are still mad about you wanting to go to medical school?/" Nat asked

/"Yeah, they hate the idea/"

/"Talk to them again.. you can't have this cold war for weeks/" Dean said

/"I tried/"

/"Ask Axel to talk to him/" Nat said

/"Are you nuts? This is my family matters.. he can't butt in like that/"

/"You're going to get married to him. He will be a part of your family at some point/" Nat said in a 'duh' tone.
