I sipped my tea as I looked out to the window. I turned my body towards the door to see my dad coming into my office. I smiled to see him and put down my glass on the table.

/"Hey, dad./"

/"Don't give me that smile and that weird nice cute tone./" He said and that made me laugh. I walked to him and hugged him.

/"Thank you for letting me stay with Lucas yesterday./" I said as I looked up to him. He sighed and avoided having eye contact with me.

/"You know Lucas is a nice guy./" I said and he walked to the sofa. He sat down and gestured to me to sit across from him. I sat down right across him and he looked at me seriously.

/"I still don't approve of him for you./" He said and I know that he loves me. He loves me too much.

/"I know./" I said and he sighed again.

/"I still need time../" He said in a small tone.
