Cameron POV

I was just laying in my bed with my cute girlfriend beside sleeping soundly as I could tell she was really tired after she finished cooking dinner. I told her that she didn't have to do all of the stuff she did but she said "It's Fine Love I Just Want To Make Your First Birthday With Me Memorable." I smiled remembering her words know that it was worth the wait.

I soon got up so I could go ahead and chose us both some nice outfits as my parents are coming soon as they are settling into one of the summer homes here. I decided to even get out her favorite lipgloss and chap as I know she will most likely use it with minimal lipstick.

I was walking around the house when I decided to set the table.

As I don't want Aronaj stress as I could tell she was so I decided to go back to my room and start getting ready. I did everything I need to do quick so it won't be problematic later as I finished My Baby woke up. I asked her "How did you sleep?" She said good calmly asking "Are we telling your parents about us or what do you want to do?"I said, "I can do that?" She worriedly said, "You don't have to if you don't want to it's only if your comfortable as I've told my mother about us." I looked at her and said, "Yes because I want them to know about you as your really wonderful."She smiled saying "I'm going to get dressed I'll be right back.

Aronaj POV

I went into my room to see an outfit on my bed and surprisingly I loved it. So I went into my bathroom and started to get ready making my self look beautiful.I put on my favorite black dress that was comfy and beautiful jewelry that's simple but beautiful.

I finished putting some of my hair in a bun leaving some down as I decided to not straighten my hair today. I walked out the door to see our friends here I smiled and walked towards them saying "Welcome to my humble abode!" They laughed walking into the dining room seeing all of dinner in the middle of the table.

I heard Rose say "You cook all this by yourself wow this looks and smells delicious."I smiled saying "It's what my mother taught me!" Soon there was another knock and I answered the door greeting his family who was coming inside "Welcome Mrs and Mr.Phillips, Cassidy, and Casey." Ms.Phillips said, "Who are you if I may ask?" I explained, "I'll explain who I am but I bet you have had a long trip so why don't I lead you to the dining room." She looked at me suspiciously but they nodded.

When I got in the dining room I saw everyone so I sat down at the table as Cameron's family had a small reunion.

Our friends and I where on one side and his family on the other while his father of the table as he sat next to me and Ender. I got up as everyone was settled announcing all that I had cooked for dinner smiling a so felt proud when again I was asked "Who are you?" So I answered, "My name is Aronaj Jones and I'm Cameron's good friend and roommate."His older sister said to me "So you're his roommate that he won't let me see." Cameron just nodded while his mother said "Well last time I checked only a girl name Ender was his friend here." Ender said, "Mrs.Phillips she's my friend too as we all go to the same school and they became friends."I just ate quietly and my friends knew that was rare so Rose asked "You okay?" I looked in her eyes with tears threatening to come out my eyes nodding and smiling saying "I'm fine." She just looked at my worried as we ate.

His mother gave me a dirty look continuously giving rude little remarks as we finished eating saying "I don't want you to talk to my family anymore." Making the table completely silent all conversation stopped as I said "I'll be excusing myself." As I walk out the dining room tears falling out my eyes as I heard Cameron and our friends call out to me really comeback I walked out of the dining room going to my bedroom and crying as I felt depressed.

I've been struggling with my depression for a few years now but don't show it because it's easier. In times like these, I just have those demons in my head talking shit to me making me feel worthless. I was laying in my bed crying alone in the darkness.

Ender POV

After Aronaj rushed out Cameron followed her trying to talk to her. I looked at his mother disappointed saying "Do you know who she is to him?" She said "His roommate." I looked at her saying "That's the girl Cameron is in love with and my best friend." She looked shocking saying "Really?" I nodded saying "Also my best friend that I know from her not speaking and her eyes that you hurt her and she's not okay as she's mostly blaming herself and crying saying she isn't good enough." She turned read saying "I feel bad I need to apologize."

I just nodded saying "She needs to calm down first."

Cameron POV

I went after Aronaj as she went into her bedroom. I walked in hearing crying and her saying bad stuff about herself also question herself so I walked over to her saying "Princess come here." She looked at me her eyes red with tears still flowing she says "Do you hate me?" I looked her seeing her broken into pieces saying "No I love you and could never hate you."She looked at me as I asked "Do you need a hug?" She nodding saying "T-tell E-en-der and R-rose to come here please?" I said "I will just come on"

I sat next to her as she crawled into my arms a few tears that fell but she was calming a little so I called in the girls.

They came in and hugged her telling her the words she needs to hear making her smile. I could tell that they had a strong friendship that is more like a sister. It made me realize Aronaj isn't as strong as she may seem as she more like a baby than anything.

After they finished helping her she smiled saying "I'm ready let's go." I smiled seeing her happy and so we walked to the living room to see everyone there. My mother immediately looked at Aronaj saying "I'm really sorry for how I was acting as that was rude to you and you didn't deserve that it's just I've been stressed lately and just went off."She smiled saying "It's okay but I'll need time to be able to fully forgive you." She nodding while I just said, "I have an announcement."My family looked interested to know as I continued "I have a girlfriend." They looked happy asking "Who is she?" So pulled out a small red bow saying "Aronaj and I are dating now."

My sister said, "I feel she'd be a good housewife."Saw Aronaj eyes grow dark as she said: "I don't think so I'd rather be an independent woman that makes her own money not dependent on a man and plus I hate the idea of being a housewife it's pretty much giving up my rights as women to a house and that's a no."She looked at me saying "I like you already" I smiled as Cassidy my younger sister said "I like her a lot too" She smiled at my sisters when I gave her the small red box she looked at me as I signaled her to open it.

So she did and two beautiful diamond ring is shown through in the light.

She looked at me saying "I know I was looking at rings like these but I didn't expect you to buy one." I asked, "Do you like it?" She looked at me smiling saying "I love it but you didn't have to as it's your birthday and you should get you to stuff not me again it's your birthday."I smiled saying "You deserve it." She smiled and hugged me saying "Thank you." I hugged her back saying no problem when my mother asked jokingly "When is the wedding?" Aronaj's face turn a bright red as well as mine as she sat down saying "Wedding?" She looked at me saying "Cameron you would marry me?"I nodded as I knew it would cause Aronaj to malfunction "Yea then I can get grandchildren right Calvin" he looked up nodding apathetically Aronaj was at that point saying "Grandchildren/Babies"

She was malfunctioning slowly but surely saying "I'm a virgin." She then ran out saying I'm going to get my cake. I told my mother "You're embarrassing me and her." she laughed as everyone was talking to each other. As Aronaj walked in holding two cakes one ice cream the other not as she was walking I ran to her helping her she put the cakes down saying "Let's sing happy birthday!" She smiled she had this big and bright personality that made me love her more by the days.

I loved her and I'm glad she knew that as they sang happy birthday to me they made me feel happier as they finished we dug into the cake with smiles and laughter filling the living room.

This is one of the best birthdays ever as my family seems to like her and Cassidy has taken a real loving to her. My oldest Casey takes a liking to her enough say that's her sister-in-law. My mother likes her as she feels her a sweet respectful young lady. My father surprisingly approves of her, especially after she told him her career. I feel like this girl will change my life and make it a lot better.

I smiled as she came and sat next to me saying "Happy Birthday Mr.Phillips." Intertwining my hand with hers's I responded kissing her hand saying "Thank you bunny for making this the best birthday I could have asked for." He dimples popping out as she smiled saying "You deserve it, my love." I just smiled kissing the crown of her head then hugging her.

At that moment it felt like the world stop as if it was just the two of us I felt at home when she was around me at peace and I could tell she felt the same way.

Hours had passed and we cleaned up as everyone left they hugged both Aronaj and I but before my family left Aronaj and my female family members exchange phone numbers. I smiled at her as we waved at everyone leave our home so we got tired after that and put everything away we both took showers and Aronaj decided to sleep next to me tonight but we slept in her bed as her bed was colder and it was very comfortable to sleep in.

We laid down and she said, "Cameron Phillips My First Love I Love You To The Moon And Back And I'm So Glad You Came Into My Life." Before falling asleep I said I love you back to Her sleeping figure kissing her head then falling asleep.
