First days of school

Lily sighed again, rubbing her eyes as she looked out the window of the moving carriage, only sights of green trees and some other small huts or cottages around the place.

Lily wondered why the houses weren't where the others were, they had passed a lot of houses, work places, libraries, schools and some other places when they were coming and it showed Lily the kingdom was rich.

"Why are this ones staying at a place like this?" Lily decided to ask as she put her head inside turning to look at Arthur who sat across her and Celine.

"It's choice." Arthur replied bluntly and it made Lily feel like a fool, she knew what choices were.

"I know," Lily stated and Arthur looked at her.

"Oh."

"I just wanted to ask why they chose to stay here, like is it for a particular purpose?, maybe farming or anything, it looks too silent to stay here." Lily asked her question in full.

"It's still choice, most of them are probably farmers, or herb collectors or maybe witches too." Arthur answered.

"You have witches here too?" Lily asked and Arthur smirked.

"You don't know?" He asked, Lily shook her head before rubbing her eyes again.

"I don't know anything about this place, whatever you people are, I do not know." Lily answered and Arthur's lips curled.

"This place, I mean the kingdom is known as Passia, few humans live here but that doesn't mean very few exactly, it's a big kingdom, in here we have different kind of creatures... let me say beings, maybe if you have noticed, there are more of vampires as it is also ruled by vampires, like your little maid right here..." Arthur paused turning to look at silent Celine.

Lily didn't bother to actually look at Celine but she was surprised she was a vampire, she kind of trusted the little maid so she had no problems.

"Do the humans know?" Lily asked as she was curious.

"mhm, they do." Arthur replied.

"They aren't scared?"

"No, there is no need to, it's actually safe for humans, it isn't ruled by King Kelin for no reason." Arthur boasted.

"So who is Kelin?" Lily asked.

"The king."

"Fuvk you." Lily muttered under her breath.

"I mean, is he a vampire or...?" Lily trailed off.

"Kelin isn't a vampire like you think, like vampire, he isn't something we can define, let's put it this way, he is a vampire, an ancient one, pureblood." Arthur explained and Lily nodded.

"So Sebastian is?"

"He is the King's son, I can't say much to that." Arthur replied.

"Oh, you just said the King's son right?, but you guys refer to him as milord, aren't you supposed to like say your highness or something like that?, he is the Prince." Lily wondered.

"At least that's what the movies says," Lily muttered to herself.

"There's a limit to what I can tell you milady." Arthur answered.

"Oh," Lily mouthed, her small lips forming an "O" shape.

"I belive you might know more soon." Arthur said with his usual weird smile forming again.

Lily nodded finding Arthur strange and suspicious but she decided to keep her thoughts to herself, turning to look beside her to glance at Celine who happened to be peeking at Arthur and chewing on her lips nervously.

"Oh god." Lily sighed before getting her hair out of her face, she wondered how it loosen.

"We have arrived!" The carriage stopped and the coachman announced as the guards who were following came to open the carriage door.

Arthur came down, stretching his palm to help Celine out.

"What a gentle man he was."

Lily came down with the help of Arthur.

Adjusting her green dress, she looked up.

And behold " What a sight."

The school stood high and mighty.

The clean white school with huge windows which had little beautiful paintings.

Lanes of beautiful flowers surrounded the main building, a huge tree with yellow flowers on it, another one which had red flowers and the last one which was in a huge garden from afar had white flowers blooming on it, beautiful carriages were parked at a particular place, little leaves that had fallen of the trees that were being swept by the cleaners, even the floors were neat, the sun shone beautifully into the school compound.

"You are coming with me right?" Lily anxiously asked Celine as she looked up the tall building.

"I think so milady, I am not sure if personal maids are allowed." Celine answered.

"Mister Arthur," Lily called out and Arthur turned to face her.

"Are we perhaps allowed to take our personal maids along?" Lily questioned.

"I have no idea milady, but since it's the elite school, I don't see anything bad in it." Arthur replied as he turned to look at a direction in which an elder woman who wore a brown dress was coming from, few people following her.

"And it's Arthur milady" Arthur corrected and it took a little while for Lily to register what he was trying to say.

"Oh, Arthur, I understand." Lily replied and Arthur smiled before walking to meet the woman on the way.

"How come you don't know if personal maids are allowed?, aren't other schools like that?" Lily asked Celine who stood beside her and looked around.

"It's not that milady, The people who are lucky enough if you know what I mean milady, those people are taught by governesses or governors, the male's when they are of age are sent to schools while the females stay back home to learn." Celine explained.

"But most poor people here are educated in the schools the kingdom has provided, the king gives them the needed education according to what I have heard." Celine added.

"Oh, you didn't grow up here?" Lily asked, Celine was about to reply when.

"This is lady Lily, Lady Lily this is Mrs Rihanna, the head mistress of the school." Arthur introduces both the woman and the lady to each other.

"Nice to meet you Lady Lily." Rihanna greets with a smile and Lily smiles back.

"Nice to meet you too."

"Personal maids are allowed Lady Lily, it's a school for most official's kids." Arthur says and Lily sighed out of relief.

"That's a relief." Lily muttered.

"This is Celine, her personal maid." Arthur introduces Celine who bows slightly in greetings to Rihanna.

"Nice to meet you." Rihanna smiles and Celine smiled back.

"Akira, lead them to lady Lily's class." Rihanna ordered and the lady, Akira led Lily and Celine away.

"Zecra Hestia has filled in some informations." Rihanna says and Arthur nods.
