1 Prologue

"Thank you, for wanting to listen to my story, someone whose I don't know the name."

The wind that night was strong, no stars in the sky, and the unpredictable sea, depth and cold air penetrated their skin. The eyes that had trouble seeing the direction, while the other eyes studied her silhouette silently.

In 20 years ago,

June, seventh day,

The noise of vehicles and crowds of people moving around enlivened the small town, but during the day, the temperature reached 32 degrees Celsius, the noise and rowdyness in this weather only added to the uncomfortable feeling of restlessness. Because of that most people prefer to stay at home with the air conditioner on, as well as some refreshing cold snacks.

In a small alley, quite far from the city center, where the air feels cooler, maybe because it is free from vehicle pollution and the city's density. Residents here spend more time helping other residents or just exchanging greetings and small talk, especially children, maybe because they have more energy than adults, they often run and play until evening without much energy being reduced-the thing that adults really envy one.

One of the group of children, who had a distinctive tan complexion, had dark eyes and short hair, with a baggy shirt covering her thin body, if one saw her, many of them would either sympathize or feel pity. A pitiful child but sometimes has the impression of being strong and sharp, Elan Flaer.

Since birth, Elan was used to living in seclusion, even her biological parents didn't really care about her, but even so, she didn't feel too bad, because they didn't pay her much attention in the first place, so she didn't need to feel disappointed or sad. After all, no matter how bad her family's condition was, she could still eat once a day at least.

And no matter what her parents are, they are still her parents. Elan is still a minor, which incidentally is protected by law, which is why they are still making a living.

Luckily they were still sane adults not to have another child, so they could send Elan to at least an affordable school.

Maybe because of certain conditions, Elan prefers to spend her time alone rather than playing with annoying noisy children, and to avoid the disgusting cold stares of the adults. That's really fed her up.

But that habit began to change when another family arrived in their alley as new neighbours. According to rumors, the little family was renting a building in the area right next to the Flaer family's house.

The family's surname is Cain, they don't socialize much but are still friendly to others. The head of the Cain family, who looked tall and tall, had a handsome face with a slightly paler complexion, and hair as brown as oak reached his shoulders. While Mrs. Cain, a nice and beautiful woman with jet black hair and big eyes and cheekbones. They both looked young, but they had two children, ond girl and one boy.

People who don't know will definitely think that their new neighbors are a newlywed couple.

Even her own mother had so many wrinkles on her face, it was truly a miracle that they looked so young.

At first, Elan didn't think much of her new neighbor, but after a while of watching, one thing caught her eye, and that was their eldest child, the most beautiful beauty, Morrin Cain.
